Can't uninstall flash cs4

right after i installed flash CS4 i received a message about it not installing correctly or completely (i can't remember the exact error message - definitely had a big red X on it) but it said i could continue anyway and i did.
now i want to remove it but i can't get it to UNinstall completely. when i run the uninstall thing from my windows vista control panel, it finishes with this
message:
"Done
Some problems occurred while components were being removed. Please see below."
and there is nothing written below, just an "Exit" button. i think it's only getting partially removed.

Yes I've looked around the web and Adobe forums. There's a whole mess of things I'm trying to fix right now so I might as well start from top and keep it compact. Scroll down to where it says "Let's recap" if you wanna get a summary of my technical issues. It may scare away some of you, but please at least someone respond. (ps all links are put here purposefully by me)
I joined a site called newgrounds and became fascinated by flash movies there. I found a link which lead me to Flash CS3 Professional free trial download page. I installed the program without a single problem. But after installation & restarting I couldn't find flash in there at all instead I found these (screenshot). I asked for help on newgrounds, and got advice to install CS4 instead. First I attempted to uninstall CS3, but it will only let me uninstall the Flash Player 9 ActiveX Component and not the program. I looked this up and the solution seemed to be CS3Clean Script. However I have two problems: first off I can't backup my files like recommended because the backup drive doesn't have enough room, which means 7.63GB out of 10GB is somehow being used (screenshot). If I decided to run CS3Clean Script without backing up my data I'd get a message telling me I need to install Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. (screenshot) Which leads me to my second problem. When I run the file to install "Windows Installer CleanUp" (just downloaded) I get this error. What does it mean? Because I am on the Administrator's account so I don't understand why I don't have privileges.

Can't install flash cs4 on windows 7

hello everybody,
I'm running windows 7 ultimate and I'm trying to install flash cs4 professional with no luck.
it always get stuck and about 93% and i get the error massage the it can't install flash cs4
please help me

Hi, just to expand my understanding. Have you had other versions of flash installed prior to the CS4 one? Maybe you should run a registry cleaner; there may be a reg problem based on my understanding. Also, check to see if you have any kind of software(like an antivirus etc), this may be not letting execute the installer files correctly.
Lastly, check to see if you have all the full privileges in your computer. Are you an administrator?

Can't uninstall dreamweamweaver cs4 beta

I can't uninstall dreamweamweaver cs4 beta so i can't install
the full version. When i tell it to uninstall it doesn't do
anything even though the setup.exe process is running. I tried
manually deleting the program files but there's still traces of it
because when I try installing the new version it says i have to
uninstall the Beta. What can i do?

We do that for production machines. What Adobe suites do to

Sure. I have Flash 8, CS3,4,5 all installed and each will run.

Problem Uninstalling Flash CS4

I have downloaded the trial version of Flash CS4. When I try to uninstall it an error message appears saying that I have Adobe Bridge open, which I don't. I restarted my computer, tried Uninstalling it again and the same problem occured. What can I do to fix this and uninstall the program?

Can't uninstall Flash 11.

I want to uninstall Flash 11 in order to then intall Flash 10.
Win XP 32bit, Chrome, IE, FF. I am mainly using Chrome.

I followed the instuctions. Doesn't work! Flash 11 is still there when I browse to for example youtube.

Can't uninstall flash player

The operation times out and I get an error code saying it can't be deleted. The Flash player install pops up almost every 15 minutes. I can't install an older or newer version either. I have cleared all cache, attempted to run OnyX and was unsuccessful. I attempted to delete Flash from library and a block read that the file can't be deleted. I attempted clear Flash from plug ins and error code 100022 popped up saying that operation can't be completed because of an unexpected error.
HELP is desperately needed. The Flash Player version is 11.5.502.409. OS version is 10.7.5.

Try Flash Player uninstaller from Adobe site.
Unistall Adobe Flash Player
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.html
Quit all applications.
Click "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
Select Computer.
Click Macintosh HD > Library > Internet plugins
Right click these two files and select "Move to Trash"
FlashPlayer.Plugin
flashplayer.xpt
Restart.
Install Flash Player
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Quit Safari.
Restart.
Enable Plug-ins Safari > Preferences > Security

Can't Uninstall Flash Builder Beta 1

Hi,
I installed Flash Builder Beta 1 a few months ago and now I can't seem to uninstall it. Everytime I run the uninstall script, Uninstall Adobe Flash Builder Beta, it begins, prompts me for my admin password, starts loading the Flash Builder app screen, but then the uninstaller exits without removing the application. Is there some step that I'm missing or an alternative way to remove the application? The trial has expired and is pretty much useless with Beta 2 out. Any help regarding this matter would be very much appreciated

If you are using Windows you should be able to have the option of uninstalling it from the following: Start>Control Panel>Programs and Features window, instead of the uninstall executable.

OS X 10.6.4 - Cannot Install Flash 10.1 nor can I uninstall Flash 9,0,151,0

I cannot install the newest Flash on my system.
I have tried the following;
Installing Flash - Everything appears to download and install but it doesn't...
Uninstalling the current version - The application says the version is removed yet it is still on my system...
I've actually closed all running processes using 'activity monitor, again, no luck!
I tried re-installing OS X Snow Lep... that didn't do anything...
Is there a list of files I can remove manually?? Or anything else I can do??

The files for Flash on a Mac should be in /Library/Internet Plug-ins. (Be sure to look in the Library folder at the top level of the boot drive, not the one in a user's home folder.) In my Mac I see two files: Flash Player.plugin and flashplayer.xpt.

Can't install Flash CS4

I downloaded Flash, extracted it, and open the folder. However,when i click on setup.exe, nothing pops up. I looked inside task manager and see that the setup is using up 50% cpu but nothing pops up.I am using vista home premium sp2. Any ideas?

I can't uninstall flash player 10.0.45.2??

I completed a vulnerability scan today (I use Kaspersky anti-virus if that matters) and it came up with three vulnerable applications like adobe player 9.0 and shockwave 11.5.1
I came to the site and came across some security updates from last year about version 10.0.45.2 being affected. I tried uninstalling it since this is the only visible version on the add or remove program list. At first it appears to be unistalling but before it finishes, the uninstall window moves past the edge of the screen so I can't get rid of it. I don't know what to do? I already installed the newest version but that old one is still there.

You don't state it explicitly, but from your description it appears that you are using Windows.
Download the FP uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html, save it to disk, then close all browser instances and run the downloaded uninstaller.
This will uninstall all FP versions, so you will need to install the latest version again.
If you still have problems, please post your Windows version (including 32-bit or 64-bit), and your browser & version.

You can't open the application Adobe Flash CS4.app because it may be damaged or incomplete.

Can someone help me with that one ? When I am trying to run Flash after install I get this error message:

I tried to uninstall and reinstall, same error. I couldn't launch under Leopard (10.5.x) either.

Here’s some updates.
I can not uninstall Flash (CS4) using "Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium". It looks like Flash is not installed.
If I try to install it using the disk, it looks like Flash is not installed at all. So I go thrue the installation process, and follow the instructions, until it’s complete.
But if I go in my App folder, and look in the Adobe Flash CS4 folder the Flash.app icon has a circle with a bar in it. This is when I get the message.

Upgraded to CS5, can we uninstall CS4?

Hello, just installed CS5 upgrade and assumed it would replace CS4 on our system. It appears to have installed as a completely new program and left the original CS4 installation in place.
Q. Can we uninstall the CS4 version to reclaim some HDD space? CS5 seems to be working fine?
The screen shot belows shows the programs listed on the 'start' menu.
edit: We received the upgrade disk from Adobe as we had purchased CS4 after CS5 was announced for release. Both program disks have different serial numbers.

Update for others who may read this....
There is one "ill-effect" that we have since discovered which relates to LR3.
We installed LR3 after CS5 and later removed the previous installation of CS4. This action removes a key in the registry which makes the "Edit in Photoshop" option greyed out on the menu bar.
The solution was eventually found here:

We chose to have a go at the registry edit, but apparently re-installing CS5 will replace the key also, (this option may be tedious for those who have installed lots of plug-ins?).
