Can't Uninstall Lightroom Beta

Lightroom ver 1.0 will not allow me to install it. I get an error stating I must uninstall an earlier version 1st. Problem is when I attempt to uninstall beta 3, it looks for the installation package which has been deleted. The error I get is "a network error occured while attempting to read the file lightroom beta\lightroom_b3_standalone_07-18.msi.
Any help would be appreciated.

Uninstalling lightroom beta 3 sample version

Can not install adobe lightroom 1 due to message saying that a previous version has to be uninstalled.
I had already uninstalled previous beta 4 version.
While trying to install the new version, it keeps telling me to find the
beta 3 sample 7-18.msi version in order to allow me to install!!!!
Already removed info from registry. how or where can I solve this problem.

Your catalog, previews, and all of your images should remain intact. All you should have to do is uninstall 4.3 and reinstall the earlier version and you should be good to go.

Can't uninstall firefox beta release on Windows XP as you discribe

I can't uninstall Firefox 8 beta on my Windows XP as you describe. It appears "''Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of Firefox. Do you want to reboot now?''" Rebooting does not solve the problem. When installing a new version the same message appears. When checking for updates appears "''Firefox is up to date''".

I can't uninstall Message Beta

When I try to uninstall Messages Beta by clicking on the "Uninstall" option under the Messages menu, I get the dialog box that asks me if I'm sure and that I want iChat reinstalled. It then goes off to find some software and comes back with a message that the software is unvailable. Doesn't say what software. But that's it! I'm stuck with Message Beta which I can't use because the Share Screen option isn't working for me.

The Messages Beta is supposed to keep iChat 6.0.1 somewhere so that when you use the Uninstall Option it gets put back.
(So it is iChat it s trying to find.)
If you have Time Machine I would open up Applications folder and go back until you find iChat (and no Messages) in Applications and then Restore.

After moving Lightroom 5cc along with my images to a new external drive I have issues. Can I uninstall LR 5cc then reinstall.?

If you follow these instructions now, can you reconnect the photos in the catalog? Adobe Lightroom - Find moved or missing files and folders
Do you have backups of your catalog file before the move to the larger drive? If not, (why not?) -- you can convert your existing Lightroom 4 catalog to Lightroom 5 again, and then try again to reconnect the photos via going to the top folder (equivalent to Figure 4 in the linked article), and then Find Missing Folders.

I can't uninstall Lightroom 3.2

I am trying to uninstall Lightroom 3.2 but get an error message "error 2753 lightroom.exe is not marked for installation" I have a new pc windows 7 64 bit professional, but had no problem uninstalling from old pc (same Spec). 3) Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.app
4) Adobe Lightroom.app (This is Creative Cloud)
Could you please say which I would be safe to delete so as to keep both Lightroom & Photoshop Creative Cloud and the 3rd. party plugins I have installed? I think the answer is Numbers 1 & 3 but would like confirmation of that before I gop ahead!

Can't uninstall lightroom in creative cloud

I wasn't using Lightroom (for some reason I had both 4 and 5 installed on my computer) and so I followed Adobe's directions in deleting them by moving the .app files to the trash.
I also checked to make sure there weren't any preferences in my library (I'm on a Mac), and also deleted all the files in the /picture folder.
Despite all of this, Lightroom is still in my Creative Cloud doc—both Lightroom 4 and 5.
And Creative Cloud prompted me to "update" Lightroom 5, and so I allowed it just to see how it would behave. It is now completely reinstalling Lightroom 5.
(Lightroom 4 just has the green check mark next to it indicated that it is up to date).
What must I do to fix this problem?

Clean install Yosemite - can't transfer Lightroom to new system - Creative Cloud says I have it, other progs fine.

I've done a clean install of Yosemite on another hardrive - (Creative Cloud member) re-loading of all other software has worked fine.
Creative Cloud loader says I have Lightroom and it's uptodate - I haven't downloaded it onto the new system yet (clicking icon goes through basic install) - it wants a a serial number, I have checked on the Mavericks system and the last 4 digits are blanked.
I have signed out of Creative Cloud on Mavericks - returning to Yosemite, no change to Lightroom status.
Can anyone help with this situation - can't Uninstall Lightroom on old system, same in Yosemite, if I try to boot it from other drive/system (Mavericks) from Yosemite Trial version or serial number request, stuck with software I've rented and can't use.

Many thanks for your reply.
Just to make it clear - I have not installed Lightroom 5 on the Yosemite system, it is only on the other hardrive and Mavericks. I have checked what is on Yosemite releating to Lightroom - there are 2 files for L5, one is in System - Library - App Support - Adobe, this file is a serial no. reference, the other is in User - Library - App Support - Adobe, these are a set of Folders for Presets, Sets & galleries etc..
From the CCloud loader Lightroom 5 will not allow Uninstall, there is nothing (program) to uninstall - it has occurred to remove the files I have mentioned to another drive and see if CCloud loader finally acknowledges it is not on the Yosemite system.
It does seem that these files are indicating to the CC loader prog that it is on Yosemite - so, if I removed the files - more particularly the serial number file - logged out of CCloud, logged back in and hope Lightroom is available to download. Do I continue if the download is for trial/serial number version - and then put back the serial number file to have it usable?

I can't uninstall CS6..

I have had the CS6 trial on my computer for awhile and I was going on an uninstall spree... I can't uninstall this beta version when I try to it just says... " cannot uninstall, you can restart your computer or try the cleaner" I have installed the cleaner aswell and it still did not take it off.....!??!

if you still have the installation files you might be able to reinstall it and properly uninstall it.
otherwise, you should leave it alone or ask someone that's computer-savvy to manually remove your files and clean your registry.
