Can't uninstall the tryout (trial) version of Adobe Audition 3

I have downloaded the trial version of Audition 3 from the official website. Then after a month I would like to uninstall it (to install the commercial version) but the uninstallation programme hangs when I click continue. The uninstallation programme is found in Control Panel (as there's no shortcut nor programme for uninstallation in the C-drive Adobe directory) and my current OS is Vista Home Premium. Could anyone help? Many thanks!

I can't help directly - I don't use Vista because it sucks, but in principle you are doing the correct thing. What I can tell you though, is that if you are effectively having an installation (well, a re-installation) problem, then you are entitled to free telephone support from Adobe - they cover that.

I am trying to download the latest version of iTunes to my PC (windows XP) and I keep getting an error message or two. One is that it can't uninstall the previous itunes version, the other is that it can't find itunes.msi. I have tried removing  the old version in add/remove programs, but it says the same error. I tried deleting every thing that has itunes in the file/folder/etc and it didn't help.

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

I downloaded premier- but now I cant find it in my apps- I uninstalled the old trial version, where is the new version I just downloaded?

Doing a factory reset will delete your Firefox install. Even if you move the app to the sdcard.

    Good day iowegian3,
My name is Sung Park and I'm one of the Product Managers for Adobe Muse. I was wondering if you could take a short (3 to 6 questions) survey. We're trying to gather some information to better understand your interaction with Adobe Muse.

  • Using trial version of adobe audition, beginning of audio file is clipped?

I am testing the trial version of adobe audition. When I save an edited file, the first few bars of audio file is clipped or cut. Is this the limitation of the trail version or am I doing something wrong? THANKS

Do you use Audition? I import/open a QT file, use a bit of noise reduction, and then use "save as" to create a new audio file. Any idea what I might be doing incorrectly?

  • I can't delete the Pages trial version.

    Hello,
    I have a problem.
A time ago I downloaded the iWork trial version pack (for 30 days free),
I decided to buy Pages quicker then in those 30 days. So now I have the real pages version and the trial version on my computer.
The problem is now, that it's not letting me to print/save anything because it's says I've still the trial version.. So i got two Pages right now. I can't get rid off the trial version one...
But i bought the "real" Pages in the App Store, so don't have any box with a license or stuff...
Can anyone please help me out?
    Greetings,

  • Can I download the 32 bit version of Adobe Dreamweaver CC on a 64 bit computer without Adobe disallowing this function during download?

I recently downloaded the trial version of Adobe Dreamweaver CC on my 64 bit laptop and during download, it did not ask whether I wanted the 64 bit version or the 32 bit version downloaded. Although 64 bit may be faster, I would prefer 32 bit because of the effect on the performance on my laptop. I was wondering whether the 32 bit version is available without Adobe scanning my computer and preventing the download of a 32 bit version of any of their programs. Thanks in advance!

You cannot choose to install 32-bit version of DW on a 64-bit Windows machine or vice-versa.
For more info, check this link: http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/whats-new.html#64-bit architecture
The 64-bit DW would be able to make the most out of the additional memory addressing space provided by your OS. It shouldn't impact the performance of your laptop.

  • Can't uninstall InDesign CS3 trial version

Trying to install CS3 Suite but window says InDesign is already installed. All other programs in Suite install and work fine. No option to install or remove InDesign. Tried dumping InD into trash. Still says program is already installed. Please help. Thanks

I had the same issue. Removed my trial version and still couldn't get CS3 to install InDesign. It kept saying "already installed" and wouldn't even give me the option to uninstall. I trashed my trial installer long ago, but I did some snooping and found that adobe stashes the installer files in your applications support folder. So before you run a CS3clean script, try this easy alternative:
OSX (or whatever your root folder is called) > Library > Application Support > Adobe>Installers> ...now look for the InDesign installer file.
Make sure you're at your in the "Library" folder on your mac's root folder, and not your user folder. The installer files are all letters and numbers, so you'll have to look inside each folder to find the InDesign installer. You'll know it by the purple icon. (You'll probably also see a folder with a CS3 icon and folders for any other stand alone Adobe products in there, too.)
So double click on the InDesign icon and it will take you to the install/uninstall/re-install options for InDesign only. Follow the prompts and viola! It's gone. Now go back to your CS3 disk/download and install the InDesign that came with CS3 and all will be well.

  • Should I uninstall the downloaded trial version of PSE12 before inserting the DVD I purchased?

Should I uninstall the downloaded trail expired trial version of PSE12 downloaded to install the DVD I purchased?

No need, just enter your serial and then sign in using the already installed trial.

  • I tried the free trial version of adobe after effects. When i click the setup button in the adobe cs4 folder, it says you can not finish the installation when adobe media player is running, but i don't have it open i keep trying and the same thing happens

    What do i do

Actually I simply would uninstall anything related to Adobe AIR, including AMP or the Acrobat.com widget. If you just uninstall AMP, one of ther others is going to bite you in your behind. It's a flwa in the installer that does not correctly detect and handle outdated versions of Adobe AIR.

  • Attempting to download trial version of Adobe Audition

Hiya. Just downloaded ADA there but when I go into the 'video' subsection I can't find Adobe Audition? Is it not still on offer for trial? This is the website I downloaded ASA from... http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=audition

Check your system and refer to the Tech Specs. the simple rule is: If it doesn't show up, then your system doesn't meet the requirements. if you have otehr problems, provide more details.

  • How do I uninstall the 9.0 version we hate it! I want 7.0 back how do I get it back again.

Although we haven't had many problems with the new update we HATE it how can we uninstall the 9.0 version and go back to the 7.0

There is no "official" supported way to do so. If you FULLY understand the INCREDIBLE RISK this poses:
Uninstall Firefox 9 and DO NOT check the remove personals settings
    Download 7.0.1 -> ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/7.0.1/win32/en-US/
    Install 7.0.1
You are MUCH better off explaining what it is you don't like...

Would it work once I downloaded and paid for the Elements 11?

  • I recently installed the trial version of Adobe XI and the trial period ended, so I wanted to revert back to the version I already had. I did not see any uninstall feature and my old version was apparently replaced by the trial version. I cannot re-instal

I recently installed the trial version of Adobe XI and the trial period ended, so I wanted to revert back to the version I already had. I did not see any uninstall feature and my old version was apparently replaced by the trial version. I cannot re-install a previous version b/c I need both a product Id (GOd only knows where that is now) and a way to uninstall the trial. Any ideas?

When you installed the trial, there should have been an option to have ignored your current installation and leave it. Apparently you skipped that case. To uninstall the trial (in Windows) go to Control Panel>Programs & Features and select the Acrobat XI and choose uninstall. After the uninstall run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html to clean up your system. HOWEVER, if you see your old Acrobat in that window, do not run the cleaner, but do a repair on the old version.
You did not mention the old version you had. You might try from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. As for the S/N, you should have register and if so you can get it from Adobe. The instructions are at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload.
Be sure to backup any download of the old installer and the S/N to CD or backup HD for future use. They will not likely continue to be available.
