Can't unlock my keyboard

I have a curve 8900 and I can't unlock the keyboard so basically can't use it at all
I charge the phone or take it out of the holster and can see it is on an locked. I then try and press the unlock button but nothing happens and then the screen just goes blank.
I have tried taking the battery out and in again and this isn't helping. any ideas?

FYI - I figured it out. While the iCloud interfaces used a phone touchpad style interface to enter the passcode, the computer shows only 6 blanks. I had chosen a password based on 6 letters, not numbers. The computer would only accept numbers, and once I transposed my code, I was able to unlock the iMac just fine. An AHA moment in the shower this morning, for sure.

No. The iPad Keyboard Dock connects to the iPad through 30 pin connector on the iPad. Your PC wouldn't have that connector.
Instead, you should just get a USB keyboard, which basic models are often just $20.

There was no damage done to it. It does not work at all, The only way I can use it is by signing in with my fingerprint and using the on screen keyboard. I have not tried using an external keyboard, it kind of defeats the pupose of having a laptop which I am supposed to be able to take with me on the go. There is a key on it that has a padlock icon on it. I did not know if that unlocked it or not. The only button that works on it is the fn key, but I have to hold ot down to allow it to work. And it only works on the sign in page.

If you lock a row in the course of a transaction, you cannot unlock the row until the end of transaction (either rollback or commit). DBMS doesn't allow this.
Alternatively, you can try to delay locking of the row. E.g., you can try using optimistic locking. Please see the Java Doc for oracle.jbo.Transaction if you're interested in optimistic locking.

You will need to restart Pages but should then see it next to your Menu item.

Is there a lock symbol at the top of the screen next to the battery indicator ? If there is, then depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (rotation lock or mute notifications), then you can lock/unlock the rotation by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. If there isn't a lock symbol then try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Once the keyboard is connected, it should work with any app that uses the standard keyboard interface, so it will work with iWork.

You do not have to restore as new. You can restore fom backup since the screen-lock passcode isnot in the backup. ALso, if iTunes asks for the passcode andyu can't enter the passcode place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore. For recovery mode:

Try a Reset of the Phone... You will Not Lose Any Data...
Turn the Phone Off...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 10 - 15 Seconds...
Turn the Phone On...
