Can't unlock phone

When I try to input security ID, I press the button and a border appears around the button and it does not register the input on my 4s

I'm not sure which security ID you're referring to. Which part of the phone is this on and when are you getting the prompt?

Not clear just wht you have done...do you have a passcode set and did you misentering the passcode? If so you need to restore using the recovery mode described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212

Only the carrier to which the phone is locked can authorise the unlocking. You will have to talk to them.

Droid 3 - Can't Unlock Phone

When I try to slide my unlock bar to the right to unlock the phone, it doesn't slide. Also, if i would try setting my ringer from silent to loud or visversa, it's the same thing. I can't switch them. I pretty much can't click anything on my phone anymore. If i press the power button and try to power off my phone. I can't click that option. I cant click any of the options. I must take out my battery then start my phone and then i can unlock. But if my phone goes back to standby and i try to unlock it again, it will not lock.
Also, last night i was talking on the phone and when i tried to hang up, i couldn't press End call. Actually, i couldnt press anything. My phone was frozen. Same thing had to be done, i had to take out my battery. So everytime i want to get into my phone. I must take out the battery. It lets me unlock my phone once and then its fine. But it sounds like when my phone goes to the black screen and i want to resume what i was doing. My phone freezes.

Sounds like a possible app issue, try booting into safe mode and run it like that for a littlem if all works fine then I would start uninstalling apps to identify the issue..
Enable Safe mode
Power the device off.
Press and hold the Power button then select Power off.
If the device doesn't respond to input, remove then re-insert the battery.
Slide the keyboard open.
Press and hold the OK key.
Press the Power button.
Continue to hold the OK key until Safe mode appears in the lower left.
Disable Safe mode
Power the device off.
Press and hold the Power button then select Power off.
Power the device on.
Press the Power button

Trackpad not working and can't unlock phone!

Hi there, my trackpad intermittently stops working, but now its stopped permanently and haven't got a clue how to unlock the phone without using the trackpad! Surely its possible to unlock it without using the trackpad?? cheers guys

HT5312 how can we unlock phones if someone make a prank?

I have my iPhone 4s blocked with the 4 digit code, how can I bypass it or something and use my phone? And how can I erase the iCloud ID and use my account, because someone made a prank an now I can't use my phone... Is there something I can do?

I NEED HELP PLEAAAAASSEEE. MY PHONE IS FULLY CHARGED, BUT I CANNOT USE ALL THE BUTTONS. MY QUESTION IS , IS IT LOCKED, IF SO, HOW DO I UNLOCK. Resolution changed so I can't unlock phone

Somehow my screen changed it resolution and made it where I cannot unlock it. I have reset it many times with no success.

No. These are user to user forums. Nobody here, nor Apple can / will unlock phones.
Contact the wireless carrier to which the phone is locked. Only they can authorize the unlock.
P.S. Why would you pay even a penny to unlock your phone?

Return the gift and if you live in the UK and want to use the phone in the UK, by an iPhone 6 from the Apple store in the UK.
You can purchase unlocked phones from Apple in the UK and you will also have EU wide warranty on the phone too. On a phone from the US, you only have warranty for the US - iPhone warranty is not international.

Try a Reset of the Phone... You will Not Lose Any Data...
Turn the Phone Off...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 10 - 15 Seconds...
Turn the Phone On...

Try this:
Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
   1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
       other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
   2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
       until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
              * If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
                Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
                release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
       device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
       let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
       charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
       When this screen appears you can release the Home button:

No I haven't synced my iPhone with the computer I'm currently using. The computer that I normally sync my iPhone with is being repaired.

Now I have a few more questions: If I mail my broken iPhone to Asurion, will I be able to get my data off of my iPhone once Asurion has it? And what will happen to my old iPhone and the data on it if I activate my replacement iPhone? Will my broken iPhone just become de-activated and will the data be erased or lost or something? Could I still sync it (with the computer ir originally synced with) and back up the data?
