Can't update AIR
Could this be because I tried to do away with Windows 7 libraries? I took the download library out of the Recycle bin, but AIR still won't update.
I found the install log. Is this easy to fix or impossible to get around, or would it be best to reformat my drive and start over?

Can't update AIR, asks EULA forever.
Can't update AIR. I'm using htc sync and each time I try to update AIR aks to accpet EULA. There is a problem in the Windows log . As my W7 is in spanish the message is in spanish.

We've run into another AIR update issue with our AIR 2.0.4 sidecar product.
Our application uses the standard ApplicationUpdater.checkNow() method to look for and download updates. Just such an update was issued recently, and one of our team members has reported an issue attempting to download the new update on a Windows XP service pack 3 machine.
They are getting an Error 16818.

Error 16818 is "IO error while saving data to disk". Is there any way we could get the installer log from this machine? It might give us additional clues.

I'm using FB 4.5, how can I update air to the latest release 2.7 so it exports using it?
ThanksYou don't say what platform you're on, but here's one of the best explanations I've seen so far.
It applies to Air 3.0 not 2.7 but I'm sure you can make the adjustment if you truly want to go that route.

Can't update or uninstall Air 3.0 on Mac OS 10.7.2
Whenever I try to update Air, or uninstall with the Adobe Uninstaller I always get the same error message.
An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator.
Of course I'm the administrator...
I've tried all the tricks in this forum:
disabling graphics card switching
opening google chrome
opening firefox
Nothing works.
This is very frustrating, I can't even roll back to 2.7.Does this help at all?

When I enter my photos app(only on my iPad Air), it says my iCloud storage can't update because it's full. In the settings it says I have 1,5 GB storage left. How do I solve this problem?

Does anyone know why this is happening? I use an app called Air Display on my iPad to use as an extra monitor for my iMac, and the Host can't update. I've had no problems in the past on Mountain Lion, but since upgrading to Mavericks, I can't update. Whenever it says there is an update available and I try to install it, the below screenshot happens:
Despite it saying "the new version will be available next time you run Air Display Host" it's still the old version. And it keeps asking me to update, which I can't. Can't update, reinstall or delete AIR
Hello,
Every time I start TweetDeck, it askes me to update Adobe AIR. So I'm trying to update AIR for a while, but keep getting the error "Sorry, an error has occurred while installing Adobe Air. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator." Today I tried installing it by downloading Adobe AIR from your website, but I got the same error. Even when I tried to delete Adobe AIR I kept getting this error.

But now another problem isn't resolved yet: when trying to update TweetDeck, AIR keeps giving errors. AIR can't update TweetDeck. Also TweetDeck sometimes doesn't apear the way it should. I presumed this problem would disapear once the other problems were solved, but this wasn't the case...

No, it can't. If you bought the iPad from Apple within the last fourteen calendar days, you can return it and then buy the Cellular version. If you bought from a dealer, you'd have to check with that dealer about a return.
If you're beyond the return period, then other than selling the iPad you have now, your options are to see if any of the carriers servicing your region offer a MiFi device, basically a portable WiFi-to-cell router, or you can tether through a cellphone, if you have one that offers that service.

I'll explain the numbering system for you.
With the operating systems numbering format it works as this: for example with 10.5.8, the first number is redundant because they are all 10 since 2001. This is the X in OS X
The second number is the upgrade version, which have cat names attached to them. 10.5 is Leopard. Each of these upgrade names must be purchased. If you want 10.6 (Snow Leopard) you need to buy it,
The last number is the update version, which is free, but requires the upgrade before you can install it.
So, you currently have Mac OS X 10.5.8 and you ask how to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, and I have given you the link of how buy it.

You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You must purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.

Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.

Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.

I deleted a few apps, iMovie, iNumbers from device and got the space I needed. They are easily restored from "Purchased" list in iTunes.
After getting stuck with the pass code fiasco I posted on (see below) and reading all the problems people are reporting with iOS 8, I am thinking now is not the time to risk having my iPad locked up for this version of the operating system. Proceed with caution.
