    This one comes close:
    The device could not be restored. An internal error occurred, or Error 3200: This indicates a network-connectivity or traffic issue. If you see this error, wait an hour or more and try again.

Apple Corporation needs to fix what ever went wrong with IOS 6.1 update and they better do it soon or theyre going to have a mob on their hands!! i have been continuosly restoring and updating my iPad 2 and it always says corrupt file then restarts the whole process! im going out of my mind and im about to say to **** with it and call apple themselves and make so many complaints that theyll fix it within the hour or i will go to new york city at the head of the corporation and make the most skeptical and most embarrissing seen that they will end up ashamed to even be working for a company with the supposedly "SMARTEST AND BRIGHTEST TECHNOLOGICAL PEOPLE IN THE U.S." who cant even get a software update correct so that it doesnt make some of our lives harder then they need to be! and if its already known to be corrupt then should take it off the whatever update liost and fix it before anyone else has to go what ive gone through, cause its pure torcher!! i paid good money for a product for easy use whenever and thats not what im getting when they cant even make a simple update thats supposed to help but only makes my product worse and make me wanna never buy from them again!

    Hi everyone,
    I need a little advice.
    I was updating my iPhone 5 to iOS 7 yesterday and during the installation/updating process something went wrong (I have no idea what!) But now it is stuck in recovery mode. I have tried and failed to get it out of recovery mode. So I decided, I'll just take the loss and restore it, losing whatever I haven't backed up.
    However, when updating and restoring my device I get the some error message each time: Can't restore iphone: error 3194.
    I've tried updating iTunes, even trying using iTunes on my other computer, no luck.
    So I decided to book a genius bar appointment.
    Will they be fit to fix it? Also if not fixable can I get a replacement phone even though it's out of warrenty? And what help or charges occur when out of warrenty?
    I would really appriciate any responces!

    Perhaps a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is required..

    While I was charging my ipod video (30gb), the cable got disconnected accidentally, after this, the ipod has not anymore songs, contacts, video... anything on it, everything has been deleted, but when I used itunes, in the section of the ipod appeared 7.5 gb used. Then I tried to update and restore with the last update software, but any of those worked and it always showed the same message error (error -60008), I charged the ipod again with all songs, videos, etc and it works perfectly, but there is still a problem in the memory of the ipod. There are 15gb which appear used but there are 7.5gb of those which supposted to be free but apparently contain the same files.
    The ipod has 12.6 gb free

    I had a similar problem last week, my ipod was showing space used but I couldn't access anything on my ipod. I put out a query here but wasn't lucky enough to get an answer. In the end I reformatted the ipod and rebuilt alll my play lists (a major job) - lesson learnt here was to back up the ipod when its running smoothly. I now use podutil from http://www.kennettnet.co.uk/software/podutil.php
    so if it crashes again (or my 3 year old pulls out the usb at a critical moment) all is not lost and it's just a matter of a quick restore.

    I want to update my 3rd generation iPad to iOS 8 through the OTA update. I have enough space as it requires 5.8GB and I have almost 10 GB. I clicked on download and install. It did download the iOS update file and then it says, "Preparing Update." In that part, it is very slow and suddenly it freezes then reboots my device to apple logo. When it goes back, it still says, "Preparing Update" and then it will freeze again and reboot. I don't know what to do. I want to have iOS 8 so bad. I have enough space and I don't run apps on the background. I have this problem over a day now. I even tried deleting the iOS 8 file and re-download it but same thing happens.     Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
    Note: Data will not be affected.

    Notes: I just upgraded to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 on my iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011) in the last week. It’s the first time I’m tried to backup/update my iPad since the iMac update.
    I swapped out the USB cable to a new cable and get the same results.
    I also unplugged all other USB devices from the iMac and security on my iPad and still get the same results.
    I find it strange that it shows no Serial number for my my iPad 2 when plugged in. It shows “Serial Number: n/a on the screen when it displays: “iPad Recovery Mode To update your iPad without erasing its contents, click Update. To restore your iPad to its factory settings, click Restore iPad.
    I prefer to update my iPad, but it displays “Your iPad can’t be updated, you must restore it to factory settings. If you previously backed up the iPad, click Restore Backup after the restore process completes.”
    It’s a continuous loop. I get the display on my iPad to plug in the iPad to iTunes, plug it in which ends after going through the above procedure saying an error occurred (9).
    So now I cannot use my iPad. When I turn it on I get the display showing me to plug it into iTunes with the cable. Since this is the only option I have I plug it in and the loop begins.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Check your security software
    Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006. Sometimes security software can prevent your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.
    Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't preventing a connection to the Apple servers.

    I have done a back up, update and restore.  It's no better.  Just a black screen with a fuzz line through it.  I have an appointment with apple tomorrow, but hoped I could fix this issue myself.

    I feel this way because i have an ipad. It had a passcode and now i seem to have forgotten it. I wanted to restore it but it wants me to update to IOS 7.0.4 and i dont like IOS 7.0.4 so i have IOS 6.1.3 and i like it cause IOS 7.0.4 is very bright i cant seem to be able to see in it proper. when i turn the brightness low i cant see anything it becomes too dark. Can you give itunes the capability of asking us if we want to update and restore or just restore but keep the firmware/IOS you are on.
