Can't update (can't find) Nokia N8 update "Video"

Hi
A read about "video" update which enables importing subtitles into the movie. But i can't find that update anywhere, on software update offers me only Ovi maps, Theme.
Is there any possib. that i can find that update else where?

The flight mode is off and the Wi-Fi is working with no problem.

Can't find Nokia Music on Lumia 800

I can't find Nokia Music in the installed applications. I have gone into Marketplace to try and find but can't see it anywhere. Searching for nokia corporation not helping.
I'm form Denmark and my Lumia 800 is unlocked.

Welcome to the forums and thanks for posting!
Unless it is not available for your region yet, you can check with your local Nokia Care, Nokia Music should indeed be available in the Nokia Collection on Marketplace.
If the application is not available there I would suggest that you reset the Lumia through Settings>about>reset your phone.
Before you reset make sure your contacts and calendar are synced with your LiveID. You can sync mediafiles with Zune.
After the reset make sure you enter your LiveID and Nokia Account when asked and download the app Reinstaller from marketplace which will get all your previously downloaded apps back to the phone.
You should be able to download Nokia Music now.

ITunes says it can't find apps/music and videos

when i try to sync my ipod touch with itunes it says that it can't find a number of items. how can i find these items (music, videos and apps) and get them on my ipod.

This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

Lost & Found
Create a playlist called Found, select everything in Music and drag it into the Found playlist (it may take some time to count the tracks that are to be dropped). Create a smart playlist called Lost matching All the rules Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Found. Your lost tracks will be in this playlist.

HT201302 I can't find my photos or videos on my pc after downloading from my iphone

Hi Everyone
I'm not good with technology so apologise now if this is a topic which has already been answered here. I've recently bought and have started using the iphone, and am loving the whole capturing video footage etc. I've synced to my laptop 'Compaq' and thought I had successfully downloaded my photo's and videos, but can't seem to find them despite also having the latest version of itunes on my laptop. I've looked in all the relevant folders (I think!) such as My Documents, Music, Videos, Pictures as well as itunes but can't find them. I've disabled the security code on my phone to allow downloads to take place. If you can help, then please message back?

I can't find my iTunes U video podcasts on either on my apple tv's . ( generation ONE and TWO)

I can't find any of my iTunes U podcasts on either Apple TV.
I have the older version and the new version.
Podcats and Podcast Playlists show up with no problem but no iTunes U content.

Can't find Nokia Reading in Marketplace - I'm in I...

Title says it all really - I've typed in Nokia Reading, Reading, Read... None of them bring up anything! Is there any other way I can find it to download? I've downloaded Kindle, but I really want to try out the Reading app.

In Indonesia (Asia), I also didn't get the Nokia Reading till now.
Try go to App Highlights (From Nokia) and choose Nokia Collection there. There is Nokia Reading in the App Highlights, but once I choose it, it will tell me that the application is not available for my device as it is not available in my region.
If it's available, it won't show the warning.

Ovi can't find Nokia N8 via USB connection, but Bl...

I just bought my Nokia N8-00 a week ago along with my girlfriend who got her phone last Tuesday. We have both the same problem with Ovi Suite 3.0.0.284 is not recognizing the phone is connected to the computer with the USB-cable that came along with the phone.
The computer discover the phone and add it in explorer with the USB-cable and charging works with no problem. So the cable can't be the source of the problem. It also seems like the phone recognizes that the Ovi Suite is running on the computer. The Bluetooth connection works with Ovi Suite, so I don't think the phones are the problem.
Remember we have 2 similar phones bought from 2 different big dealers/chains and we have exactly the same problems with the USB-connection in Ovi Suite 3.0.0.284.
I think this is a software issue with Ovi Suite. Have anybody tried a earlier version with Nokia N8 without this problem? The N8 model is rather new so maybe a earlier version of Ovi suite don't support N8...I don't know...

I have the same problem running Vista and Ovi ver. 3.0.0.290. I ran through your steps but no change. It's a brand new N8 and the phone will not show as a New Device via the USB connection. Although configured to start when connecting the phone via USB, Ovi will not start so I assume the connection is not established between Ovi and the phone. My laptop sees the phone just fine and files can be transfered vie Explorer. Any other ideas? Much appreciated.

Can't find Nokia Presenter software compatable for...

I have recently purchased this phone and following the instruction guide i am not able to find the correct software to get this feature up and running.
Every time i try to connect from my 8600 i get a message saying 'Make sure Nokia Wireless Presenter on the PC is ready and try again'
I have followed a link using software for another nokia phone but the application must not be compatable.
Help would be much appreciated - thanks in advanced

It might not be the end of your problems as Wireless Presenter application is a little tricky to set up as you must know the COM port used by the Bluetooth adapter.

You will need to download a third party app in order to play Movies that are not from the iTunes Store or synced from your computer. I know absolutely nothing about any of these, so you will have to do your own research.

Can not find audio video file

I created a dvd proj. burned it to a disc. all worked very well. I copied the dvd. proj file to an external drive. Now when i access file i get an error message that it can not find two files. C audio and C video files.
Any suggestions?

It created the DVD proj file ok and I could play it through dvd player and burned it to a disc. The problem occurred when I copied and pasted it to an external drive. When I open the dvd proj file on the external drive I get an error message that it can not find the audio and video file. It is looking for the file on the hard drive and not the external drive. i deleted the original dvd proj file on the hard drive.
