Can't update/download folio

We are not sure what happened, but one of our folios is now broken. We can't update folio from InDesign, we can't download this folio to Viewer - it's just "Waiting". We think that something get broken when failed uploading of HTMLResources.zip, when this upload failed. We uploaded it again, this time without problem, and from this moment problems started. We can't download to viewer, we can't update from InDesign.
What is VERY frustrating is that this folio is quite long and we have all description in this (we wanted to use sidecar, but it's not working in v18).
Any idea how to make this again working? We know that we can re-create folio, but this should be not solution, shouldn't be?

You will need to post the exact message, although I would guess that the download was corrupted during download. Did you do it over a wireless network? It may be better to connect straight to the ethernet port and download from there or try going to

and download directly from there.

.local indicates local activity by the computer host Williams-macbook-pro.local=hostname@domain . The UID of 501 is the standard UID of a local computer administrator.
Copy and paste this little script in your terminal:

A return of "i am local" ensures there is no remote connection to your machine (through SSH).
In the future, to avoid remote entry, I would recommend not posting your IP address though.

Can't update / download apps.I've updated my ipadmini to IOS7

Hi! I'm unable to update/ download apps using my pocket wifi. I've tried to reset all network setting, but it didn't solve the problem. I've tried to connect my device to apple store's internet, and surprisingly the apps started to update. I'm not sure if it has something to do with my pocket wifi's connection. I find it weird, bec I tried to use my samsung galaxy note and was able to download apps using the same pocket wifi. help please

Can't update/download new apps, App Store says ID is disabled

When trying to update existing apps or download new apps. It says my Apple ID has been disabled. I have reset the password twice via iForget. I have restored all of my iphone software and still it says my id is disabled. Need help or other ideas.

if the id is disabled, you either need to request a chat with itunes support via expresslane.apple.com or you need to talk to account security at applecare

I cannot update adobe photoshop cs6 and other products on Adobe CC. Whenever I try, it says update failed, download error 49. I am running windows 8 64-bit please help.

Can't Update-Download

When I tried to do an update a while ago on my G5 and everything stopped when the proccess got to the end. The solid Blue Bar just didn't move anymore when it got to "1 Minute Left". I was able to get out of it and forgot about it until last night when I trid to download Google Talk for my iChat and the samething happen.
I then tried to verify permissions and repair permissions, but again I get stuck. The only thing that I was able to do was verify the disk, which came back OK.
Any ideas?

Some users have found this useful for the Configuring Installation getting stuck at about 10%.
Remove the Cache.db file from the folder:
Macintosh HD>Users>yourusername>Library>Caches>com.apple.SoftwareUpdate
(where “yourusername” is the short name of your computer in lowercase letters, like stevent - the folder looks like a house/home)

Error when attempting to update DPS folio in Content Viewer

Long story short, out of nowhere I can't update a folio in my iPad Content Viewer app.
I get the error message:
Error During Download
Please try your download again later.
This never happened before, everything has been going smooth until now. Please see screenshots below.
Any ideas, Adobe?

I remembered a workaround from a few years ago when a similar problem existed, so I thought I'd give it a try –– First, I removed the folio from my iPad so I could start the download from scratch. Then, as soon as the first article starts to download I quickly go to "stack" view and then the viewer app will download a few articles. But then it pauses. But if I scroll back to a previous article with my finger (still in "stack" view) it will begin downloading a few pages again, then pauses again. As soon as I tap the screen and scroll back one article, it begins downloading again. At least with this method of "babying" it along I can hopefully meet my deadline. Hopefully the service will get fixed by the time I have to share the folio for review by the editorial and advertising teams.

Download folio to iPad for trial

Hello,
I own an iPad with wifi only.
I want to download a folio to trial on my iPad at work but the office doesn't have a wifi connection. I know you can preview the folio in InDesign, etc but I want to show it to my colleagues in the office. Is there any way of downloading/synching the file from Acroboat.com when the iPad is connected to my mac via USB?

You may use the preview on device feature in Indesign to preview the folio on your iPad. Another way is to download the folio using adobe content viewer when you are at a place which has wi-fi connection, Then you can view the downloaded folio anytime, even when you do not have an active internet connection (It would not show any updates though made after download if there is not internet connection).

Is credit card needed for updating/downloading free games?

I finally somehow made a apple ID on games center, then I tried to download a free game. But when I click instal it said that this apple ID is first time using in iTunes (or something like that) and that I need to review my account. When I click review It asked me for a lot informations but one of them were credit card number. And I don't own a credit card, so now I can't update/download apps/games?

Folio panel drop menu won't drop - can't update articles in folio

I am having trouble with the drop menu on the Folio Builder panel. In the past it has worked completely normally, but today it won't drop at all. Which means I can't update any files, or rename articles etc...
This started yesterday ... so I uninstalled Indesign and downloaded again. It worked. This morning I am trying to continue working on the project and the drop menu wont drop again.
I have reset Indesign preferences... and that still doesnt make the drop menu come back..
any ideas...

This is still a big problem and with the Single Edition licence ending soon, InDesign not functioning as it should be is quite stressful..
No one has answered this question. I have read through past threads and no one has answered others questions about this topic either...
When I try to update an article there is no menu available in the drop menu of the folio.
I have restarted Indesign several times.
I uninstalled and re-installed it again...
I have reset preferences over and ove,r and by the way the default black theme is horrible
It doesn't matter which document in which folio I try to update - the drop menu isn't available.
The documents have gone up to the cloud - I can see current documents there, so the files are synchronizing properly... It is the folio panel that is the culprit...
I am using build 10.2.0.69 of release 2014.2
Does anyone out there, in the world, anywhere, have any suggestions how to get the drop menu back into the folio?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Updated app causing already downloaded folios to re-download

I just updated our multi-folio app (professional license) from V21 to V25. When the app is updated on the tablet, all previously downloaded folios are having to be re-downloaded and are, thereby, counting against our license. Is this correct? Also, I am hoping to utilize the background downloading but I don't see where it is available. Is it part of the Producer Tools? Thank you in advance for your help.

When you say the folios are being "re-downloaded," do you mean updated or downloaded from scratch? When you update your app, any downloaded folio should still appear in your library. If you updated the folios, your users can update these folios as well, but updates don't count against your download bundles.
Background downloading works only in Newsstand apps. With a non-Newsstand v25 app, your users will be able to start a download and exit the app or view a different folio while the download continues, but background downloading is Newsstand only.

I have two Apple Accounts. One in Switzerland and one in China. I used to be able to updates all of my apps by clicking individual apps. One day I clicked update all by accident. I find it difficult to believe that it took you a year to realize your phone was defective.
Restore the phone as new. Wait a couple of days before adding any apps to see if it's running ok. Then, add apps a couple at a time so that, if any of them cause issues, you'll have an idea which one.

Are you aware of any problem with a previous purchase ? If not then you should contact iTunes Support and see if they can tell you what it is (until it's sorted you won't be able to download anything from the store) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If you go into the payment details section on your account then does it say anything about your card being declined or not accepter or if the security code needs re-entering ?
