Can't Update Flash CC

Whenever I try and update Flash CC, it immediately says "Update Failed" and when I click "Learn More" it says "the download apperas corrupted. Please try again after a few minutes. (U43M1D204)
This whole experience with Creative Cloud has been really frustrating as I haven't been able to use audio at all throughout the entirety of my trial period and now I can't get the update to fix it.
Any help fixing this problem would be much appreciated!

Does your operating system support Virtual Machines such as VMWare Fusion? If so, then you could purchase a copy of that and a copy of Windows 7 (You can't install a Mac OSX onto a Virtual Machine, Apple restricts the use of VMWare with OSX, unless Apple makes its own proprietary virtual machine that can boot other versions of Mac OS (older and newer versions, that is)). With Windows 7 installed in the virtual machine you can then use the latest version of the Flash Plugin (I would assume that to be true but it's only an educated guess).

How can I update Flash WITHOUT installing Chrome?

How can I update Flash WITHOUT installing Chrome? I keep getting update messages. I go throught the download and install process but there is no option to un-check installing Chrome. I don't want Chrome. I'm not asking for Chrome. I just want to update Flash.

There are a few threads around here with this same issue, and as far as I know Adobe has not addressed it adequately. Many of us, when we are prompted with an update for Flash, are not given the option to opt out of installing google toolbar and google chrome.
Adobe is playing cute, pretending to be surprised at such reports. They always demand screenshots of it, and then ignore them when the screenshots are posted. Then demand screenshots in the next thread with the same issue, feigning surprise that such an isue could occur. Sometimes they insist it isnt happening or it is somehow user error (as if it is user error to simply allow the update from their app to install after getting the update message from their app! )
The problem , in my case, was that the update goes to a URL that autoselects chrome and toolbar. I found if I manually edited the URL, that it would not automatically install chrome and toolbar.
Basically the URL has to be manually edited , so take out the " &a=Google_Toolbar_7.4&a=Google_Chrome_22.0_IE_Browser " at the end AND the "&dualoffer=true&chromedefault=true" bit in the middle. Then it will give you the opt-out. Then do make sure to uncheck the box, obviously And it is obvious that the users are not doing this on purpose, this is built into Adobe's updater, somewhere. Can't update flash on Mac

I have tried at least a dozen times to update Flash on my Mac. It says it's updated, but when I go to try to use it, I get the 'update' screen again!
What gives?

Technically, you can download and install without uninstalling.

You should ask in the Flash forum. It may be that you need to download the flash update, disable anti-virus, and install the update. Firefox should be closed during the update.

I have Windows 8.1 and I.E. 11.0.9600.17498. I went to the Adobe Flash Player help page, and it says I have 16.0.0 and Windows 8. But I have 8.1.

FF, I Can't Update flash?

Okay So i Updated the FF, Than it said You should update your Adobe Flash player After it downloaded and restarted and all that good stuff. So i went To update the Flash and it said "Additonal plug ins are required to display all the media on this page" So i clicked Install missing plugins but when i did that It said No sutiabl Plugins where found and under that it said " Unknown plugin (Application/getplusplusadobe16263) " Manual Install so i click Manual Install and it did its thing and the FF downloades popped up and it said Gp.xpi so i clicked on it and than it says "invalid menu handle" Than it asked me what i would like to open it with and I didnt havea program i guess to open it and at that point i gave up, Does any one no what I can do please, thanks

Then I would go to this site, find the "Download Flash Player with the Manual Installer" and SAVE it to your
Desktop. Follow the instructions to disable any apps in the system tray that use Flash, check the Security settings (in IE)
Check if your Anti-Virus needs Disabled. Then Close ALL browsers, RUN the Uninstaller, Reboot and when fully Rebooted, Reboot again to clear old files. When fully Rebooted, RUN the Installer, when finished Reboot Once.

So I try to go on youtube in the safari and it does not let me, it says I have to update my flash player. I press install and it says Safari cannot read. Then I try google and it's the same thing. I don't know what going on!

Hmmm. We'll my bricked iPhone 4 is unaffected. I'm starting to suspect Dropbox as the problem. It's not on my iPhone 4 but it's installed on my iPad and Macs and I was seeing a page showing Dropbox as a place to update my iPad for Flash a few days ago before I did the latest IOS update.
I'll see if I can temporarily disable it.

Help! I can't update Flash Player or Reader

After I click yes to the question, "Do you want to allow this program to make changes on your computer" it brings up a blank black box which just sits there forever and never does anything else. When I try to close the box by clicking on the red box with the "X" in it top right -hand side of box) it attempts to direct me to a bad or incorrect link and says "That page cannot be displayed."
I have tried clicking on "if you encounter any issues downloading Adobe click here." and that didn't work.
I have tried searching through the Adobe "support" area and all of the errors listed none seem to mention anything about a blank black box. There were a couple of topics that seemed close so I tried following what they recommended and still I have the same problem.
So my last resort is to try the forums in hopes that someone can help.
I am also unable to update Adobe Reader for the same reason. BLANK BLACK BOX.
Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this?

Can't update flash on g460

Hi,
I noticed the fan in my g460 keeps spinning even though the load is very low. I found there is a bios update that fixes this problem:

Now the issue is that the flash utility insydeflash does not work. It says it can't load the drivers, Naturally I ran the program as administrator and even tried XP compatibility mode. Nothing works.
It's a bit surprising Lenovo would upload such a utility that fails so completely. Don't they test this stuff at all? I googled around and while many people report this problem there really wasn't a fix. I don't know who wrote insydeflash but it needs a little bit of work.
Any suggestions on how to update the flash on this laptop?

Read the "Important information" on that download page.
You must first up date bios to 26 version before updating
to latest.
First one is NIWEx203...
Second one is NIWEx215...
Reboot, Press F2 at Lenovo screen to enter BIOS
and see which version you have now.
Remember to flash bios After a reboot.
After each flash, enter BIOS, set to Default, save and exit

Updating flash for firefox without admin rights

I use Firefox in an environment in which only IE is supported. Every time Adobe updates Flash, I lose the ability to view Flash content in Firefox as I lack admin rights to update it.
I have tried the work arounds and none solve the problem. Previously I would just download Firefox again, reboot, and the update would be there. No longer works.
Is there just no way for Firefox to update Flash internally, especially for users who lack admin rights?
I greatly enjoy using it but if I can can't update Flash, I will have to go back to IE.

Having trouble updating Flash.

No matter what I do I can not update Flash player on my laptop. I have tried everything in their help section and nothing has worked. I just keep getting the same error message over and over again saying that either another Flash Player level is installed or something is using Flash Player and I need to close it. I have tried unistalling Flash Player and then installing the new one and that didn't work. I closed everything that was running and that still didn't work.
Anyone got any tips on what I can do?

Hi, What Operating System are you using and is it a 64bit or 32bit? Also please furnish the browser(s) and version numbers.
The link you referred to in your 2nd message is to test whether Flash Player is working and the version Installed.
Use each browser, or all and when the site opens you should see the Flash logo aninmate(spin) and the version displayed.
