    Hello
i hv updated my mini pro to ics
after update its performing very much slow thn before , its getting hanged , laggign while playing games .
plz suggest me wht to do with this sort of problem as soon as possible

We would suggest a repair to the handsets software, this could be a result of a bad install of the software. I would use PC Companion to perform this task.

  • Can i update logic pro 9 to x or do i have to rebuy it?

can i update logic pro 9 to x or do i have to rebuy it?

The full price of Logic Pro was reduced during the life of Logic Pro 9 to be only a fraction of the original price.  Thus, the full price today is still cheaper than the old model for upgrade prices.  Net result - just buying the new version when one comes out (e.g. Logic Pro X) costs about the same, if not less than upgrades did in the past, but with the added bonus that if you're a new customer, you pay a far cheaper price first time round.

  • Can't update Acrobat Pro X to 10.1.10 in Mavericks.

Can't update Acrobat Pro X to 10.1.10 in Mavericks. Get "The update could not be applied because the Adobe Acrobat application contents were modified since the original installation.  Please reinstall Adobe Acrobat and check for updates again.  Error: 1301". I uninstalled 10.1.9 and reinstalled 10.0.0. When I try to update, I get the same error message, but now I'm stuck with 10.0.0 and can't update to anything higher!

  • Can't update Premiere Pro CS5.5.2?

When I attempt to update Premiere Pro CS 5.5.2 by clicking Help, and then Updates, I get an all-black/dark gray pop-up screen that says Adobe null at the top left, with a blue loading bar - and that's it.
I am currently using CS 5.5.2
    Windows 7
I checked my Symantec Endpoint Firewall and ensured that all Adobe programs are allowed, and not blocked. Then I restarted my computer, and first verified that all Adobe programs are allowed access, and then I attempted again to update Premiere Pro, and I still encountered the Adobe null error pop-upscreen.
How can I get this program to update? I want to be sure and have the most recent codecs and etc.
    Please advise. Thanks in advance.
Here is a screen shot image of the pop-up error screen:

    Hi John,
Thanks for your response. However, from the link you provided, it looks like CS 6.0.5 is the most recent CS version.
So I once again tried to update to CS 6.0.5, and I unfortunately get the same Adobe null pop-up screen I reported in my original post here.

  • Can´t update logic Pro 9.0.0 to 9.1.3

    Hi
I have a problem updating logic pro. I was wondering, my version is still 9.0.0 and the automatic update never find any updates for logic. So I downloaded the update manually, but I receive a massage...that there is no logic 9.0 on the system and I can´t update...very funny, because there definitely is a logic 7, 8, and 9 on the system working.
Anyone with an idea out there?
    Thanks

As well as being in the Applications folder, you MUST NOT rename the app. It has to be "Logic Pro.app" or the updater will not find the file.

...or just *Logic Pro* (if you have the .app suffix disabled systemwide, which I believe to be the default in OS X)

  • How can I update Logic Pro X offline

How can I update my Logic Pro X on my 27" iMac at my project studio withouth internet access? I obviously moved the huge iMac to the studio after installing Logic Pro X, but I don’t intend to move it from the studio to my home whenever I need to update software.
Also there is virtually no 3G coverage in the area, so tethering is not an option either.
Will there be offline updates available (couldn’t find any at support.apple.com/downloads)? Or do I have to always copy the Logic Pro X.app from one of my Macbook Pros onto a USB stick to overwrite the Logic version on my studio iMac?
    Thanks, Josh

My best guess...and it's only a guess but it is based on other Pro Apps and how Apple have handled them along with what seems to be Apple's roadmap for OS X in the next few years.. is as follows.....
Logic Pro 9 was sold as both a physical item (Logic Studio 2.0) and a download from the Mac App Store. Because some users could buy it as a physical item at one point in  time, Apple continued to provide updates that could be downloaded as individual files (outside of the online Update system) and then could be physically transported to the Mac that has L9 installed.
Now LPX is only available as a download item from the Mac App Store, and the only way one can (officially) download/install LPX on a mac.. is to use the internet...the only way updates can be done is online too, via the Mac App Store online update system. Add to this the fact that Mavericks does all updates automatically without the need for User intervention and I can see why Apple have taken this path.
So, my guess is there will be no offline update files...(Unless Apple have a major change of direction with Mavericks.....) and it seems your "USB stick" method may be the one of the few practicals way of updating LPX on a Mac..when you have no internet at that location.
My method to get around the problem that one of my studios are in a location where the internet is poor... is to install OS X and Logic onto a fast external HD and boot from that. I then take that HD to another location which has a good internet connection, connect it to a Mac and boot it up and update it there. On two occasions I have even taken it to my nearest Apple store and they have happily allowed me to use their bandwidth and a Mac to achieve this. The advantage of this method is that both the OS X and Logic can be updated at the same times along with any other related content or 3rd party plugins/content.. which may or may not be updated in the future.

  • Can't update Acrobat Pro 9.50 to 9.5.1

Tried updating Acrobat Pro 9.5.0. to 9.5.1 through auto update and downloading the update. Both give an error to reinstall the app because something has changed since the last update. Something to do with plugins. Tried to repair Acrobat installation and remove Safari plugin also. Both don't work.
At this point I don't want to re-install Acrobat 9. I get the feeling i'm going to have more problems. Also why would I have to reinstall the program? What is that all about? This has happened before while trying to update a version and I get the failure and reinstall. Anyone have any suggestions.

You could try creating a new account using the instructions here http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/404/kb404927.html. Update Acrobat from the new account and see if the patching works now.
Also, could you please provide the log files for the failing patch. To obtain the log , follow the following steps:
    1.  Clear the contents of /user/library/adobe/logs folder
    2. Open Console, located in the  Applications- > Utilities folder.
    3. Update Acrobat to generate the error message.
    4. Check the console for error messages and save console log file
    5. Go to /user/library/adobe/logs and share the patch log file

  • Can't update Logic pro X

I am using Logic Pro X 10.0.5 and would like to upgrade to 10.0.7 to fix bugs in the software. I can not find a way to upgrade from the app store or the software. How can I upgrade?

    babowa wrote:
I don't own it, so I can't say, but as an example, I own Aperture (also considered a pro app) and incremental updates (from 3.3 to 3.4 for instance) have been free updates; a new version 4 however would need to be purchased. As the OP's version is 10.0.5 and the current version is 10.0.7, it is reasonable to assume that this would be a free update - or is Apple charging $199.99 for an .02 update?
Again, normally there is no charge for an incremental update... as incremental updates are free unless maybe, a major new feature is added....
Logic Pro 9 to Logic Pro X... You buy the new App at the same price as anyone else... whether they previously owned Logic Pro 9 or not. In the USA the cost is $199.
Logic Pro X 10.0.5 to 10.0.7 - No charge at all.
See my previous post as to the likely reasons the OP cannot update from 10.0.5 to 10.0.7
Tip: (in the hope you take this in the spirit it is intended..)
Its best not to offer advice unless you know what you are talking about.... Logic Pro is a very specialized app and so offering advice without actually using the program and knowing how it works.. is likely to cause more confusion and misunderstandings rather than help.
    Cheers..

  • How can I update Logic Pro 9.1.6 to 9.1.8?

I have tried to download software from online that Apple directed me to get 9.1.8, but that said I could only update by using the app store. But there is no Logic pro 9 in the app store anymore. Is there a way?  It's not even in the purchased tab.
(ps I am trying to update because I read that the update makes it behave with Mavericks)
    Thanks!

    Dnlsan,
Do not miss out any of these steps and do them in this order...
First, sign out of your account within the Mac App Store app...
Quit the Mac App Store app...
Launch the Mac App Store app..
Sign in using your Apple ID..
Watch for any updated Terms and Conditions dialog boxes that might appear and agree to them...
Check your Payment information is also correct and up to date even though there is no charge for the LP9.1.8 update...
Now go to Updates in the Mac App Store app..and check there for the Logic Pro 9.1.8 update
    This should fix the issue...
    However...
Again as was said earlier.. also make sure your Logic Pro 9 app is correctly located in your Applications folder and ensure the app is indeed named Logic Pro and nothing else... (Some people found their current copy of the Logic Pro app would be labelled Logic Pro 9.1.6 for example.. and they had to edit the name to put it back to the original Logic Pro for updates to work)
You should then be able to update correctly.
if not.. contact Apple directly as they may need to reset your account on their Mac App Store servers.. to resolve any remaining issues...

  • Can't update MacBook pro software from 10.6.8 snow leopard

I have a MacBookPro 2.2 currently running snow leopard 10.6.8.
I wanted to update my software in order to use iCloud on my phone with iPhoto and transfer photos more easily.
In the App store I am unable to download the Mountain Lion software, I'm assuming this is due to my macbook's age ( It was handed down to me by my father so I am unsure of it's age ).
Am I able to download Lion 10.7 anywhere? I've only be able to find the Lion 10.7.5 but am having no luck as I am told I need 10.7 software first.
    What are my options?
Thanks in advance. Really stuck on what to do here.
Can't seem to find another discussion that answers my question?

Call the Apple telephone service, 1-800-MY-APPLE and pay for the download code to use at the Mac App Store to do the download.

  • Help Help Me... Why can't update Mini Firmware ?

    Hi all,
Pls give me a help, I have one firmware upgrade problem.
I have already update to 10.4.6 version.
And download boot camp utility and MacMiniFirmwareUpdater.dmg. http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/macminiearly2006firmwareupdate10.html
Execute upgrade and MiniFirmwareUpdater shows "No update is necessary for the computer" but when I open "boot camp assistant", it says that need a firmware update before run.
Where I need to pay attentation?
My CPU is Intel dual core.
    Thank you for your support!

My firmware version is of no interest to you. I have a G4 Mini.
Basically, you should run (or execute if you prefer) MacMiniFirmwareUpdater.pkg, and once the updater has finished doing whatever it has to do, you should see, within the updater itself, a Shut Down button. If the firmware updater looks like any standalone update then it should be your only option anyway. Since I don't have an Intel Mini though, I don't know if it looks the same.
As for holding the power button, you should probably wait until you actually see the status bar. Whether it's a matter of seconds or of minutes is a mystery to me as I've nver updated my Mac's (or any Mac's) firmware.
You will probably find many people with Macintels and willing to install Boot Camp in the Boot Camp Public Beta forum. They'll probably be able to help you with the Firmware Update too.

  • Can't update MacBook Pro 2.4.

I bought it an year ago and always could update everything, only clicking "Ok" to every step and that was fine. Suddenly, it started to go with the "An error occurred during installation" message, after download all the archives. It also happened when I tried to update MS Office with an installation CD. Anyone can give me a clue with this??
    Thanks in advance.

Hi,  I have the same problem.  I went to the "Read this" link and it says that the Mid 2009 2,53GHz update is 1.7 but still saying "this computer doesn't need this update".
