It is likely that your carrier may have not released an update for your model.
Try using Sachesi software to download updates from another carrier.
Google Sachesi to find out more on the software.
For STL100-1 use Carriers from Countries such as India to get the update.

Massive bug after 10.3 update on Z10

Hi all and thanks for the forum.
I've been experiencing annoying trouble after updating my Z10 BlackBerry to 10.3 OS last night. Basically:
- The phone seems running fine, it starts an I can switch between the application panels, but-
- Not one application starts. I mean, I can click the application, then the device switches to the "zero" application panel - the one meant to show the opened applications - but this one stays empty. Which is rare by the way because, at least in the previous version of the OS, this panel wasn't even accessible when there was no app running.
To explain further on the symptoms:
- The initialization of the phone is really long - more than 10 minutes - and it seems to be installing the updates every time I start it, even after various resets.
- The Rapid Access Bar - for setting up brilliance, sounds, blocking rotation etc. - works fine, except for accessing the Configuration app.
- The Camera and the Research function don't work, same as the other apps.
- The Hub is accessible but empty.
- The one app that does start is the Phone. This one does works fine, I can make and receive calls and access the basic contact list in it, but cannot reach the detailed contact information since that action calls the Contacts app.
- Connecting my device to a PC with an USB link, the device isn't detected. It does charge but I cannot access the data either through Windows Explorer or BlackBerry Link. BlackBerry Link does start automatically and I keep on hearing my PC ring tone for connecting and deconnecting an external device, frequently and irregularly.
- It occurred once, at starting my phone while it was linked to the PC, that it was detected by BlackBerry Link. But even that time it couldn't acces files nor start any backup.
- Note that the OS starts on the empty "0" panel. On the ancient OS version it used to start on the n°1 app panel.
Does anyone ever experienced that situation at upgrading his OS or would have an idea on how to solve it? My paramount point is to save the files I have on the device, media most of all and app data if possible. That excudes reinitializing, which is the only option offered by BlackBerry Link at not detecting the device. Note that I do not have an SD card and everything is stored in the internal memory.
Do other sowtfares exist that would enable me to reach the data stored on my phone? Or would it be possible to downgrade the OS version without risking losing the data?

He solved it by doing an entire software reset and wasn't able to save his pictures, though...
I think all that's left to me is technical support and praying that they won't erase the data.
Until then any help on the matter will still be appreciated.

First off, just want to say I have tried to research this online. Read the crackberry post, and this post here: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Z10/Unable-to-update-to-latest-BB10-OS-version-Wha...
Both had great suggestions and I tried them all with no avail.
I have used blackberrys since the "pearl" and never have I felt so disadvantaged becasue I bought an unlocked phone.
My Z10 is STL100-1, I use it on giffgaff in the UK. My OS is STILL 10.0.9. Tried every method previsouly described and still no update. Tried all my friend's sims (EE, 02, Vodaphone) too but UK carriers use the STL100-2 so I'm still out of luck. As a result, no whatsapp for me, and battery life is atrocious even given my light use.
I understand that these updates need to be pushed out by the carrier and in part it's my own fault for chosing an un-offical carrier. But why can Apple and android and windows update their phone all over the world with an OTA update while BB must wait for carrier approval? Perhaps I'm just venting my frustrations or perhaps blackberry really is falling behind the competition?
If anyone else has any other suggestions, I'd be very appreciative.

BB Z10 Model STL100-1 Won't Start Up Running OS 10.2.1

I purchased this phone in May through Amazon unlocked and I use it on the T-Mobile Network.
It is within the first year of the phone and the video hardware seens to have went out on the phone.
The phone kept freezing and then it would go black screen and fade and then complete turn off.
At first I would pull out the battery and it would not start right away it would start then go black screen part way through the start up screen. But after a few times of pulling out the batter it would go through and back to the OS. This started to happen more and more.
I'm running the latest BB os 10.2 updated through the phone and bb link.
The screen started freezing up and then going black.
Now my phone sometimes will start to the BB os start up screen but it always goes to a black screen and does not go to the full os.
It is still under the 1 year manufacturer warranty. Can you help me? My phone screen has went blank.
I have reloaded the software through the BB Link Desktop software via USB cable. And still the phone won't load past the first part of the load screen then it fades to black.
I have let it charge for two or more hours, pulled out the battery and waited two minutes or more and then put it back in as well.
Nothings is working. The phone is now a brick.
It started to happen slowly. It seems to be a hardware issue or something to do with the screen.
It hasn't been in water or dropped or anything. It just started acting up and now it won't even turn on.
I have tried everything that the BB.com site said to do and I still can't get it past the start up screen. It begins, then fades slowly to black. Please help.

Blackberrry logo comes up then fades and turns off completely or just stays hung on the logo screen.

Can't update to latest OS version

I have a Blackberry Z10 developer edition and I want to update it to latest version (current version is 10.0.9.348), but I can't.
When I try to update it using the phone it shows a message saying that the phone is updated.
How can I update it? I can't install Whatsapp because the phone doesn't have the latest OS version.

Can't update my device software

Dear,
         I have BB Z10 and i can't update software version by any method of 3 methods you provide ! first method to update through BlackBerry Link don't work with me as i can't find " install update " button on the application . Second update from the web don't work with me too as it show me error on " 15% " done ! . last way to update through device require Wifi connection and I don't have one but i have data-plan which can cover the update size but the device can't download without wifi . so plz can you help me solving this problem and i hope you will permit big-size downloads through data plan withoud need of Wifi in the future thank you

Same here. Win 8, BB Link 1.1.1.32. Z10 device detected, PW entered. I can sync all items and view files in explorer on device. Notice on BB that new OS avail from Bell (I do not have wi-fi). In BB link "Automatically download updates for your device software and Blackberry Link" is checked. Settings (gear) page for device shows links to Backup (works), Restore and Remove device. There is no notice to install new software and no icon on the left where screenshots on the web say it should be. No event logs show an error. Just does not work even with elevated admin rights. Been plugged in for 2 days now.   There are no files over 100 MB on the computer in the past week indicating that BB link has actually downloaded anything and it is pending.
Is there an option to manually download the software and make it available to the BB link to install? We also want to use the BB Link to pre upgrade the OS before giving devices to users and activating them on the BDS server.
I have the local Firewall and network Firewall not showing any blocks. On the BB Link main screen created a log file on the desktop.   In the zip the Desktop.log shows the following:

Hi, I have a new Iphone and I wanted to add some applications from apple store.
Unfortunately, I had a message saying that I was using app store on a new device (true) and they needed to check some security thing from my visa card. Unfortunately, I had a new card and do not have the previous one anylonger (the previous one expires in 1 year but had to be cancelled).
Therefore I am blocked and cannot get into my account.
How can I update my bank account and get into the apple store again ?

updated whenever a new object is entered into vector..You don't update the Vector directly. You should be creating a method in your TableModel, called "addRow(...)". This method will do two things:
a) add the Student object to the Vector
b) invoke the fireTableRowsInserted(..) method of AbstractTableModel. This will cause the table to be repainted.

Notes: I just upgraded to OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 on my iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011) in the last week. It’s the first time I’m tried to backup/update my iPad since the iMac update.
I swapped out the USB cable to a new cable and get the same results.
I also unplugged all other USB devices from the iMac and security on my iPad and still get the same results.
I find it strange that it shows no Serial number for my my iPad 2 when plugged in. It shows “Serial Number: n/a on the screen when it displays: “iPad Recovery Mode To update your iPad without erasing its contents, click Update. To restore your iPad to its factory settings, click Restore iPad.
I prefer to update my iPad, but it displays “Your iPad can’t be updated, you must restore it to factory settings. If you previously backed up the iPad, click Restore Backup after the restore process completes.”
It’s a continuous loop. I get the display on my iPad to plug in the iPad to iTunes, plug it in which ends after going through the above procedure saying an error occurred (9).
So now I cannot use my iPad. When I turn it on I get the display showing me to plug it into iTunes with the cable. Since this is the only option I have I plug it in and the loop begins.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006. Sometimes security software can prevent your device from communicating with either the Apple update server or with your device.
Check your security software and settings to make sure that they aren't preventing a connection to the Apple servers.

Can't update in mysql

Couple of pointers.
1 - use [ code ] tags to post code
2 - that is WAY too much code for more than a cursory glance. You're lucky the problem was easy to spot.
Your problem lies in your edit JSP form:

In fact, all of your input fields have a name of "description"
I would recommend on your inventory_admin.jsp page that you put the following debugging code to make sure that the parameter values come through and are set correctly.

Can not update request in data target

Hi,
We have a process chain for master data (10 parallel) loads. One of the load
failed with error "can not update request REQU_46xxxxxxxxxxxxxx in data target".
When I checked the InfoPackage
(a) update: full load
(b) it has data selection
(c) processing :PSA and then to data targets
(d) Data targets: update in all data targets for which active rules exist.
But I do not see any list of data targets here.
Can some one please suggest me how do I correct this load failure.

I have uid and password for regular user, I am trying find the ldap_base for regular user, which may be different from adminuser.
