Can't Update Nokia 515 Software
I've been trying to update the software on my new Nokia 515, the phone has v05.09 and the Nokia website says the latest version is 10.34.
When I try, menu>settings>phone>device updates
I always get the message 'No network connection. Unable to download.' I've got a good internet connection so I don't know why.
I saw a thread on here suggesting the Nokia Recovery Tool to update the software but when I tried that (phone connected in modem mode) it couldn't see the phone.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Mhm, you are the second one reporting issues with AMD USB Host Controllers. Please, note your current version of your driver, update to the latest version, and report success/failure. In case of success, please, mention your old version, so Nokia is able to look into this. Even if you still fail, report, so Nokia is able to create a support-ticket internally to investigate this.

The later iOSs requires at least OSX 10.5.8 for the Mac. You need iTunes 10.5 but 10.4.11 only goes to 9.x.. 10.5.8 is a paid upgrade.
Are you sure that you have a 3G iPod? If it is 8 or 16 GB it is a 2G and those can only go to 4.2.1 (also requires 10.5.8 or later). A 32 GB can be either 2G or 3G. To identify yours:

Yes, it is very silly but the iPad 1 does not have enough ram to cope with ios 6 or 7. Every other iPad can go upto ios 7 except iPad 1, which stays as ios 5.1.1
I recommend upgrading ur iPad, if u can't afford it maybe then u can always sell your iPad and use that money to buy a new one!!

Hello, I have ipad version 1 (3yrs old) and I am still running on i.os.5.1.1.
How can I update to new software as I am unable to run some apps.
Itunes is up to date and I have synced but when I click on software is says my software is up to date but mu iphone is running on a newer version?

I updated my Nokia 515 yesterday. Since then the reception is terrible I'm unable to make or receive calls.
Additionally I don't have the pc suite option under connevcity and can therefore not move my contacts to a different phone.To backup your personal data, does this help? Then, please, try the Software Recovery Tool (with the USB mode Modem).

I am looking for some help with the app store. I recently purchased an app (aperture) in the app store and subsequently apple refunded the purchase price. However, the downside of this is that aperture no longer appears as a "purchased" app within my app store account. Accordingly, i don't believe i will get updates as the software is updated periodically. Apple has instructed me to delete all my aperture files, reboot and then revisit the app store to re-download and it should let me pay for the app and redownload just as if i had never had the app before. However, when i go to purchase aperture, i get a warning that it has already been purchased and that i can re-download for free. That sounds great but again it won't appear in the "purchased" list in the app store b/c of the original refund from apple. I never thought i would have this much trouble trying to pay someone for a product!
Questions:
Is the app store looking to my hard drive for traces of aperture to determine whether it has been purchased or is it looking at some kind of purchase history within the app store?
Is there anyway to wipe my hard drive clean of aperture files or wipe clean my app store purchase history so that i can start over?
If none of this is possible, does anyone have a possible solution?

1. Do you have a backup connected to your Mac that contains the app? If so, yes the MAS can detect that and believes that the app is installed.
2. If the app no longer appears in the purchase history on the Purchased pane in the MAS, then it would seem that Apple has taken care of that.
4. Updates, such as you describe are free. Upgrades are not. An upgrade is a new paid version of the app, such as v 3.0 to v 4.0. -
I have tried a zillion times to update itunes to 10.5.2 but it won't work. Under the "About iTunes" section it says that I'm still using itunes 10.4. What I'm really trying to do is update my iphone 4 software but itunes says I can't do that without first updating the itunes software, which it won't let me do. Anyone know how to fix this? Look at the system preferences for iTunes 10.5.3. Are you running 10.5.x (Leopard) or later? If you are then please repost in the iTunes for Mac forum.
