Can't update or download apps anymore after updating to ios8

i don't know what to do, since updating to iOS 8 I can't update or download apps ,does anyone here know a solution to this? Please help thanks

I have a very simple web page that uploads pictures (.jpg or .gif) and when I updated my iPAD to IOS8 this morning the web page times out for any upload.
My web Page uses a very old HTML form like this :
This html form works on all the following browsers, but not Safari on the new IOS8 on my iPAD

iPAD IOS8 Browser has a very serious bug that needs fixed.
The only way I found to put in a ticket on this is through apple.com/feedback, which I did.

Hi! Another problem after updating to 10.5.5: I can't see my external drive anymore. It's a lacie quadra, plugged to my iMac via firewire 800.
Really hope they fix this update really soon...
Any of you knows how much time Apple usually takes to solve upgrade bugs like these we're all experiencing with 10.5.5? Do they do it fast?

Hi Barry, I'll eventually do, but there are other people that have had the same problem right after upgrading to 10.5.5. I really think it's an os x bug, just like the other graphic problems that people are reporting now.
I think Apple should take these reports quite seriously.
Anyway, also think that probably these bugs are confined to iMac intel, as some one else pointed out before in this forum, because some friends of mine upgrading their MacPro, didn't have any trouble.

I can't find my downloaded apps anymore!

I wanted to install a app that i had dowloaded some days before and noticed that the "purchased apps" - tab (I hope it is right), in the appstore doesn't work anymore! It just says Loading and wents white then (after 1-2 seconds). I had also tried to logout and login in the Appstore and iCloud, but that didn't help. I wrote this question to the iTunes Support but they sad that this question is more a iCloud "thing".I have an iPod 4th Generation.
I hope you can help me!

Why can't I use several apps anymore since update to iOS8?

It really harasses me not being able to use several apps on my iPad anymore since I updated to iOS8. I paid for some of them not to long ago!!! Why doesn't Apple warn people that some apps will not work anymore when you update? I have already contacted the developers but they told me, that Apple has changed such a lot, that it would take them too much time to make their apps compatible.

Apple should offer the ability to downgrade the device back to the previous version of iOS for people in your situation.
I learned the hard way, long ago: don't upgrade unless you HAVE TO. It's almost always best to never update more than one major version past the one your Mac or i-device came with. It will become slow and laggy, as the newer systems are made to run best on newer hardware. Plus you get to deal with apps breaking, since Apple has a very small commitment, if any, to backwards compatibility.
I've had Apple render all my software obsolete and non-functional twice and major portions of it one more time, during the 68000-PPC-Intel-32bit-64bit transitions. I always knew it would happen with iOS eventually, as well.
Sadly many great developers and their great apps were killed off by these transitions since they were smaller devs who could not justify redoing a niche product that didn't pay their bills well enough. It's part of life, like when a great restaurant goes away. Nothing lasts forever.
My advice is that you buy a used device with the iOS version you prefer. I still have iOS 6 on my iPad because it does everything I want, and who knows if these apps will still work on newer versions, or if the iPad will become unusably laggy. Besides, I greatly prefer the look-and-feel of iOS 6 with its gray UI and easy-on-the-eyes, subdued tonality. I cannot stand the stark, bland, oppressive whiteness of iOS 7–8. To each their own.

Can't listen to m4p files anymore after update

Hi,
I upgraded to itunes 7, and since then in FrontRow I can't listen to songs anymore that I bought at itunes store. It tells me I am not authorized.
If I click the song in itunes it would play it, but clicking it in FrontRow displays the message. Any ideas?

Any update will cause problems for a few users. And those users will rush here and post "the sky is falling" stories about their experience. The 99.99% of people who have no problems after an update won't bother to post here; indeed, most of them don't even know ASC exists. FWIW, I had no problems with iOS 7 on my 4S. Your problem is most likely not related to iOS 6, but you should probably update anyway. My app store on my ipod wouldn't let me update or download apps?

I have the ipod 5th gen and ever since I downloaded the scribblenauts remix and brought the dlc with it, I can't update or download apps anymore. It keeps on sending me to my payment method and saying that there's a billing problem. I have money on my card and I have tried to sign in and sign out of my account and everything but it still doesn't help. Can someone help me?

Contact iTunes. You need a valid payment method and the messages says you do not have that.

I can't update the downloaded app while can install the new other app

I can't update the downloaded app while my id and password is correct. When I complete the password, it seems updating app but nothing change and it takes only shot time. But I can do the same for install other new app from iTunes with no problem. So now my phone has lots of unupdated app.
Before this problem occur, my appleID has a problem. It can't sign in although I fill the correct password. It bring me to answer security question but it's wrong. So I choose to unlock my Apple ID by reset password via reserved email. It can complete the process but seems to be I create the new Apple ID although that ID is same as the previous one. After that I can't update app anymore.
Could anyone help me on this? Thanks in advance.

If you're a school, Apple has a trade-in program for educational institutions you could look into to upgrade to newer iPods:

Otherwise there's nothing Apple could tell you other than sell the iPods or find a reseller willing to accept them on trade. A first-generation iPod touch will not run any version of iOS later than 3.1.3, and a second generation iPod touch nothing later than 4.2.1. There are still apps that run on those versions, but they're getting fewer and fewer. Getting newer iPods is going to be your only avenue to being able to run more current apps. And if you do, I'd advise expecting only a two-year lifespan out of them, at least as far as keeping up with the latest version of iOS and apps is concerned.

I can't update or download apps. When i try, I get the red circle with the red square in the middle- no activity, and when I tap on it it instantly reverts to the cloud/arrow symbol. I also can't download tunes- all of my iTunes match songs appear and I can stream them- but when i try to download to my iPhone- same thing: red circle with square in the middle, no activity, if I tap again, reverts to cloud symbol.
I have turned off and on, reset network, reset device (but haven't restored to factory settings, trying to avoid that), i have signed in and out of iTunes countless times, i have chatted with support and have been on the phone with support (another call scheduled tomorrow) but no luck at all. Very frustrating- i've never experienced this with Apple before. Anyone have any suggestions? On, another thing. I have an iPad mini that i updated to iOS 8 and it works fine. I can download and update apps, and can download tunes from iTunes Match. Awesome, right? Very confused.

Use iTune to update your apps.
Check for Updates (bottom right) in iTune. When download is completed, sync to iPad.

You can log out of the currently logged in account by taping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and you can then log back in.
If you updated your existing account with a new email address then that shoud 'refresh' it on it
If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can redownload its content and download updates to its apps. You should be able to update an account's email address via this page : http://appleid.apple.com
