Can't update to Belle Refresh

Am following this guide http://www.nokiabreak.com/how-to-update-nokia-belle-phone-to-nokia-belle-refresh.html but I keep getting the message “no updates available”. Something is wrong.

Your phone will have been provided by a carrier that has not yet approved the belle refresh for devices under it's product code
Without this approval nokia cannot release it to you,
many carriers have abandoned symbian as a dead OS and will never approve the update

Nokia Suite says everything is updated, i livein the philippines, they say nokia belle refresh is the latest here... hoping anybody could help, been months of waiting ((

A SWAP product code is a generic code that is applied after the main board of the phone is replaced. What should happen is the Nokia Care should re-program the original Product Code to the new board but they don't always do this. Contact your Nokia Care centre again and insist that you have a SWAP code and require them to update your phone for you because you are not able to do so yourself with a SWAP code.

I can't update to Belle (product code 059B288)

I'm N8 owner with the motherboard swap code 059B288. I can't update my device to Belle by using Nokia Suite. Don't tell me i have to bring it to nokia care center for update. Getting defective first batch phone isn't my problem. Please let unlucky owner like me can update the phone firmware.

The N8 product code 059B288 is SWAP code, meaning that you need to bring your phone to the Nokia Care Point for update. There is a list about SWAP codes in discussion /t5/Software-Updates/Nokia-Belle-availability-information/td-p/1298583

@Kevil and all Nokia official employees..plz take a look at this..what m goin to post is not officially issued by nokia..but there are post on internet stating that "Symbian Anna OS" on Nokia 5800 xpressMusic...there are tutorial available on sites..i tried it and see the diffrence..its just awsome...why don't nokia officially "DEVELOPE SUCH FIRWARE BY THERE OWN"????????/ MANY THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH 5800..THEN Y U GUYS ARE NOT PROVIDING???? I can't upadate my N8 to Belle. Is there an over the air or wifi version cause the message I get on the pc update is service not available?

Hi, I am facing the update problem with my N8, its got Anna but its showing no updates available,
I am using 3.8.30. I also have "Automatically download software updates" option turned on.
it is also not showing any update on OTA through wi-fi
I have already tried Re-installing Nokia suite, re-starting my PC, re-connecting my phone and all other possible "Re"s
Kindly help, I have already wasted 30 plus man hours looking for a solution to this freaky issue...

Nokia C7 Still ANNA & Can't update to Belle - Can'...

I have a nokia C7 still running on ANNA (022.014) date of software version 05/07/2011
Product code 059D083 Type RM-675 Navigator version 7.3 Flash version 4.0 Java version 2.2
I'm trying for more than 2 month now to get Belle for the phone but i can't. I tried SW updater, and Nokia suite (version of nokia suite 3.6.36) but it says always that I don't have any updates available.
It doesn't come from my operator, because I have another phone (N8) that runs on the same operator and I got Belle for it longtime ago, it's just the C7 that can't get belle.
My second problem, is that i can't play any youtube video on my C7. I'm using the basic navigator with m.youtube.com... and I downloaded opera mini and tried but it didn't work. I tried installing few applications like fasttube, youtubedownloader, symeo... But i can't play any video at all...

have you checked that your network carrier settings are correct for streaming video? Then again, if you have data access then you should already be set up correctly.
If you have performed a hard reset, your only other option now is to re-install your current firmware via Nokia Suite and if that doesn't work, then to take your phone to your local Nokia Care point for them to inspect: http://nokia.com/support they should also rectify your concerns about receiving Belle update, cos it could be either a network carrier or regional Nokia issue.

My Nokia Symbian Anne phone can't update to belle

I see the use guide it say I can update it at the Nokia suite, it say will show at the software update but my is always say no updates available.

Welcome to Nokia forum!
To find out if an update is available for you, just
connect your phone to Nokia Suite and select Tools > Software updates or
open the Software Update application on your phone. For most devices, you will find this application under Menu > Settings > Phone > Phone updates or Menu >Applications > (Tools >) SW Update. If you don't find the software update application from these locations, check the correct location from the user guide.
Update availability is influenced by many factors including existing Nokia device firmware version, country, and operator. It may be due to one of these variables, that there currently is no new firmware update available for your phone. For example if your mobile service provider hasn't approved the latest Nokia device firmware, it isn't available for that specific operator variant you are using but it can be available for a generic country version.
New firmware may become available later, so it's best to setup your device in a way that it automatically informs you when a new software version is available. You can do this in the following way:
Start the software update application on your phone. (Again, for most devices, you will find this application under Menu > Settings > Phone > Phone updates or Menu > Applications > (Tools >) SW Update. If you don't find the software update application from these menu locations, check the correct location from the user guide.)
Select Options > Settings > Auto-Check for updates. With that in place, your phone will automatically check in specified intervals if there's a new software available and prompt you to start the update.

That has nothing to do with the color.
The problem is the product code

Cannot find Nokia Belle Refresh on E7 RM-626

Hi,
Despite Symbian Belle Refresh being out for quite a while, I cannot seem to download it. My phone says the current version (111.030.0609) is the most recent version. Eventhough the nokia website says there should be a new version (111.040.1511) http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Software-Updates/Nokia-Belle-Refresh-update-just-launched/td-p/15347... and http://www.nokia.com/nl-nl/support/product/e7-00/.
I have the same problem via Nokia Suite, it also says I have the latest version. (111.030.0609)
Does anybody know why?

@pwn1996 did you try the Nokia Software Recovery Tool already? There in that tool, what is your Nokia Product Code? It is the same as with *#0000#. Does that code match the one which is printed on the label of your phone (7 characters)? That tiny sticker between the keyboard and display. The Nokia Product Code determines your firmware variant which determines your current version. We can check together, only with this code!
Or do you have 059F3W6 or 059F6L7 as well?

Question: Are we going to be able to update to "Belle Refresh" ?
When checking for updates, we are told that we are "updated",
however, when looking the Device Manager, it tell us that
Latest Update was not updated...\
Other info that may help situating our phone software:

I am in USA too, with an N8, 700, and 701. Seems a lot of N8's worldwide didn't get the refresh. Conjecture has been that updating all the phones was too much trouble and too expensive, especially given Nokia's abandonment of Symbian. Reading some of discussions, I gather many people are upset. Nokia didn't give fp1 or fp2 to the 700 and 701 devices either , notwithstanding the promises to do so. Bad business.

Themes not working properly after updating to Bell...

I updated to Belle Refresh on my Nokia C7-00 via OTA update...
However recently I have noticed that while changing the theme (installed in E:/ ) it is taking too as long as 10 minutes to change all its icons, and other things...
However if I close the process in midway and restart my phone, the phone loads up completely with the theme.
Nokia Evolve theme also showing same problem.
Please help...

Many or most 3rd party themes is just causing problems. Uninstall them all and keep the original Evolve. Restart the phone and the phone will work without unexplainable hick ups.... I have facing this kind of issues many times during the last year on devices like Nokia 700, 701 and Nokia E6.
For the moment only 2 themes is working more or less without problems on for example Nokia 701,
1. Lilac sunrise by Hank
2. Min. Green - Giulio7g
Of course there are more themes but just saying that many many themes just messing things up.
Just my experience in the themes abyss here...
I cant understand why Nokia only have one theme in the firmware, there used to be at least 2 or more ealier. It is very nice to have different themes when using situations...former nokia situations now situations byPastilli labs. I use it now and recomend it for what it worth.

Unfortunately no-one can tell you when the update will be released for your country variant North American US N8. All you can do is wait for it to be approved in your country.
