Can't upload 3D footage to YouTube

I just got the 3D GoPro kit and prepared footage in FCP X to upload to YouTube using the share menu.
The only problem is in order for YouTube to know the material is 3D you have to add the tag 'yt3d:enable=true' and the form won't let you enter a colon or an equals symbol. I had to export the file and upload it manually.
I take it this is a bug. APPLE???

Yes.
Have done that as well, just want to get the message out there.
these little things are frustrating and you think should not happen.

  • How can I upload a video to Youtube thats over 15 minutes?

Hello, I am aware there are other discussions similiar to list, but none of the other videos worked, or helped in any way. Can someone please explain to me how exactly can I upload a video to Youtube, from Adobe Premiere Elements 11. I would be very grateful if someone could give me the proper way to do it, and thank you for your time.

Assuming that you or the program has set the correct project preset which matches the properties of your source media...
You export your Timeline content to a file saved to the computer hard drive and, then from there, upload the file to YouTube at the YouTube web site where I believe more than 15 min duration is allowed. See YouTube requirements and instructions related to extended duration for your upload.
You might want to look at:
    Publish+Share
    Computer
    AVCHD
with preset = YouTube Widescreen HD or YouTube Widescreen SD.
(You can change settings under the preset's Advanced Button/Video Tab and Audio Tab as necessary)
Please review and let us know if the above worked for you.
Any further questions on this, please do not hesitate to ask.
    Thanks.

  • IMovie on iPad and Camera can't upload my movie to YouTube

I just made a video on iMovie and I've tried many times, but can't upload tot o YouTube. I then saved the video to the Photos app on my iPad and tried to upload it there, but it didn't work there either. I am guessing the problem is with the YouTube app, but I am not sure. everything is recently updated on my iPad. I did notice that on the YouTube app the icon with the three horizontal lines is not avilable for me to select and there is no way I can upload my video using the YouTube app. What should I do to fix this problem??

    Me too,
If I try to upload or save a video to camera rol the progress bar stay on 0% ( the problem isn't with the YouTube app, because I can upload videos with the YouTube app )
I had this problem also with iOS 7 ( progress bar stay on 20% ), so it isn't a bug in iOS 8.
iPad Air (1) ,iOS 8.1.3, Belgium.             (hopefully isn't my English too bad)

  • Can't upload my videos to youtube - error 401

I got this message: Failed to upload VID...to youtube Account: a connection cannot be established to Youtube server (401).
Can you advise me as it used to work before?
    Thank you!

I have now resolved this by updating one of BB app in MyAppWorld. I can't remember which one though, but when doing so I didn't think it would change anything as it was one of BB protection or something similar.
I suggest you update BB apps and see if Youtube downloader works again.
    Good luck.

  • HELP!!! I did everything i could all day to fix this and i can't upload my video to youtube or export file because it keeps saying "sharing requires more memory to be available" How do i enable my movie to be uploaded or exported?

Question 1 / Plan A : When i finished making my movie project in iMovie 11 on Mac, i tried sharing it at all ways such as youtube, export, etc... it kept popping up: "sharing requires more memory to be available". I searched up all day on the internet on how to figure this out, i followed all of their advices but nothing seems to happen. btw i already got permitted for longer than 15 mins video on youtube. it's also weird that my computer has more than 600GB free space. So how do i upload my 2 hour video to youtube? and how do i avoid the popup of "sharing requires more memory to be available"?
Question 2 / Plan B: If plan A won't work out, i definitely don't wanna do this all over again because i took centuries and effort on this. What im trying to do is divide them to multiple projects, and maybe it will let me upload it because of it's file size? So how do i copy parts from a project and paste it to another project or event library so it would be easier for me to finish it in iMovie?
Question 3 / Plan C: If plan B won't work out, how do you screen record my movie with audio? What im trying to do is to record it by screen using quicktime and divide them by parts. I know how quicktime and soundflower works, but when i tried it, but the problem is that soundflower and quicktime audio was very crappy and broken at some point. So how do i record good quality audio with screen recording?
Question 4 / Plan D: If plan C won't work out, i guess the worst way to do this is to record from my phone, its such a bitter idea but i want this to be published in good quality. i am so tired and i took so weeks finishing this project and the ending results just ****** me off. Id be glad if someone has an idea on this problem im occurring. Hope y'all people and mac experts understood on what im struggling about. leave a reply on those of you who might have an idea on solving this problem!

When You select share, are you able to get either of these two windows?
    First one is Export As
Second one is Save as QuickTime
I looked at earlier post and see You have 4GB RAM,  maybe try a smaller format to convert it to,
then save it to file first before trying YouTube.

  • I am trying to upload a video to youtube at 1080P and 60FPS but when i try to upload to youtube it goes to 30 FPS? What do I need to do?

I'm trying to upload videogame footage to youtube at 1080P and 60 FPS what specs do I need to do to do that

How big is that movie file? I don't know if iMovie on the iPad lets you see the properties or if you have to import it into your computer to see the file size. But another issue could be the movie file being many hundreds of megs or even gigs.
I had a 3 minute video that I shot with my iPod be 300 megs and when I tried to upload it to youtube it took about half an hour for it to upload and process.

  • We are evaluating the use of iPod touch devices to record best practice videos on our manufacturing floor and to post to an internal Moodle web site. How can you upload a video from the iPod touch to a site other than YouTube?

We are evaluating the use of iPod touch devices to record best practice videos on our manufacturing floor and to post to an internal Moodle web site. How can you upload a video from the iPod touch to a site other than YouTube? The Moodle upload interface is expecting a file selection dialog box like windows or OSX. I do not want to have to go through an intermediary step of messing with a pc.
    Thanks!

It should be around 7 and a half gigs. In iTunes, across the bottom there should be a bar that show how much storage is being used and by what. (music, movies, apps, etc.) To make music take up less room, you can check the box to make it convert the music to 128kbps AAC. This lowers the quality, but with most earbuds and speakers, you can't even tell the difference.
The iPod touch has parental controls built in. You'll find them in Settings. I think they only work for enabling/disabling Safari, Mail, YouTube, and App Store. Here's an app that does more: http://www.mobicip.com/online_safety/ipod_touch

  • Every time I try to upload a video to youtube (or pictures to blog services like tumblr) using Firefox, I cannot upload them unless I use the "basic uploader" function. Why and what can be done?

Every time I try to upload a video to youtube or a pictures to a blog service, such as tumblr, I am unable to do so with the default uploading options (usually something that allows multiple uploads, etc). Instead, I can upload these media using their "basic upload" functions. Why and what can be done?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

  • Profile File Invalid" and can't upload to Youtube form Elements v.4- ????

Problem with Adobe Premiere elements v.4 running on vista. When I try to upload directly to youtube I get a message" ! Profile File Invalid" and can't upload. I have to save the file to PC then upload. Can you help?

As Steve points out, YouTube made major changes to their accounts and the handling of those, when they partnered with Google, about the time that PrE 7 was in full-swing. It is likely that they have made more changes, so even PrE 8's direct upload might now be obsolete.
Now, PrPro has some great (for the moment) YouTube Presets for Export, it does not have that direct link for uploading, that PrE does. Still, either program should be able to do the Export/Share to a YouTube-compliant file, that can be manually uploaded.
Just be aware that YouTube changes their specs. very often, and that they will also re-encode anything that you upload. I always recommend that a user check the published specs. for files on a monthly basis, just to see if YouTube has made a major change, that might affect the specs. of the files that they want - at that moment in time.
YouTube is a "moving target," in many ways. They are so dynamic, because they are still defining that niche on the Internet.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.

can't upload from premiere elements to youtube
created by A.T. Romano in Premiere Elements - View the full discussionjanicey For your workaround, you have been pointed to Publish+Share/Computer/AVCHD with Presets = YouTube Widescreen HD.The default for that preset is 1280 x 720 @ 24 progressive frames per second with a bitrate of 8 Mbps (megabits per second). If you want other than that default setting, you can customize that preset to 1920 x 1080 @ 29.97 or 25 progressive frames as well under the Advanced Button Video tab of the preset. Determine if the bitrate needs adjustment and the file size is acceptable You might also want to explore using Presets = MP4 - H.264 1920 x 1080p30 (or 25 as appropriate) and customize the preset under the Advanced Button/Video Tab of the preset. Watch the file size. If you are OK with the 1280 x 720 for quality and file size, then please disregard the suggestion for this. • Why can't I upload my iMovie to YouTube?

    Here's the deal.
I have recently got my new MacBook Air. I have downloaded all the new software and I have updated iMovie. I used the updated version to upload a video to YouTube last week, but this week, using the same software, I can't upload.
When I click 'Share' then 'YouTube' with the video camera still plugged in, it says it can't upload while still refrencing from the camera. So I ejected the camera and tried again but it said it didn't have any media and wouldn't let me do it.
I tried downloading the video to the desktop, but when I go on the camera file then onto the video folder, it opens in QuickTime Player and only allows me to play the video, and not export it.
    Can someone please help me?

Alright if you have the video on your desktop, you will need to import it into iMovie first.  Make sure once its done importing that you can find your movie under one of your libraries.  If it still does not export strait to YouTube, try  exporting as "File" then to YouTube.

  • How can I Upload IMovie or IDVD to YouTube?

I have the last version of iLife not the newest one. How can I upload an iMovie or iDvd movie I created to YouTube? The file names are not selectable when I go to YouTube and look on the hard drive for my files.

.. when it uploaded to YouTube the quality over the video went down horribly. ..
well known, and no workaround.. your videos have to be a 100% on your Mac (miniDV camera input, better: HiDef..), but YT converts with very low settings into FlashVideo = blocky..
if you want better quality, use free services as vimeo.com or use Apple's mobileme, to create your own site to share HiDef content ...
