Can't upload pics for eBay

I keep on getting this message stating "error"with some numbers .

It won't work if you are trying to use Safari (not until iOS 6 in the Autumn for the iPad 2 and 3), or are you using the eBay for iPad app ?

flash player not working.  can't watch video and can't upload pics to facebook

thanks for helping.  I have windows 7, internet explorer.  recently had to replace my hard drive, and compete reinstall of all software so still a few bugs on settings, ect.  not seeing any error messages.  video and uploading pics seemed to be fine until the last week.  not sure what could have changed .  I can still look at PDF ect, I'm not positive its the Adobe that is messed up, but the 2 things I'm having problems with, clicking on and watching video on espn.com and not uploading pics to Facebook, both just does nothing when I try them.  no errors, just black screen where its suppose to play or upload.  the trouble shooting for both sites say make sure to have the latest version of flash player, so thats why I assume something is wrong with Adobe.  when I do the self scan from this site it says I have the latest version.  my settings say the player is enabled

  • When uploading pics on eBay, they show as blanks can someone help? Thanks

Listing an item for sale on eBay, when trying to upload pics they come up as blanks, hasn't happened before. woder what the problem might be?

Yes it is because you recently upgraded.
iPhoto 08 is looking for QuickTime 7 and 10.6 has QuickTime X.
Solutions: Install QuickTime 7 - it's an optional install on the 10.6 disk
    or
Upgrade to a later version of iPhoto.

  • How can i resize pics for wallpaper?

can i resize pics to fit as wallpaper without it stretching?

Maybe there is a better way, but I can offer you my
Screen resolution for iPhone 4 is 640×960 and for the iPhone 5 is 640×1136
You should make a picture 640 pixels wide and of reasonable height, minding the lowest row of icons. Very high picture will be distorted.
The wallpaper can be prepared using any picture (camera, Google, etc) by resizing in your computer or with the help of special app (I use the free "SimpleResize").
If you use the computer, then send the ready picture to yourself by email, then save it to the Camera Roll.
    Use Settings>Wallpaper & Brightness>Choose Wallpaper>Photos>Camera Roll
    Good Luck

  • Trouble uploading pics onto ebay

I've been trying to upload pictures onto to ebay to sell some items. For a while, I was able to upload the pics okay but now every time I try to upload, they are rejected. I finally got in touch with a human at ebay who said that there might be a firewall that is preventing me from uploading. has anyone heard of this and is there some way around it so that I can post pictures of my sale items? I tried to call Apple but was on hold for 25 min. and gave up. I'm technologically challenged so if anyone does have any ideas, please put them in layperson terms...

    To Apple Discussions!
Have you considered updating your OS to 10.4.10?
    See if repairing permissions helps.
"I try to upload, they are rejected."
How? Did you get any error messages? If so, what did they state?

  • Can't upload pics from iPhoto

I have the latest version of iPhoto (purchased my computer just 3 months ago). Ever since we set up the computer I have not been able to select any pictures from iPhoto when using another application. For example, I want to use a picture from iPhoto as my buddy profile picture on iChat, but it won't let me. When I click on "pictures" 2 folders show up: iPhoto and Photobooth. However, the iPhoto file shows up as gray and I can't even click on it. It will, however, let me choose pics from Photobooth. I also can't use my iPhoto pictures for myspace, or for emailing, or ordering prints from an outside source such as Walgreens, Costco, Snapfish, etc. How do I fix this?

The basic answer is to export the photos you want to use - although there are several other answers depending on just what you want to do.

  • Can't upload pics from iPad to Facebook

    Hi,
I am using the official Facebook app on my iPad 2 but every time I click on "upload photo" the app shuts down and the iPad returns to the "home screen". Anyone knows how to fix this ?

Try closing the Facebook app completely and see if it you can upload photos when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Facebook app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Facebook app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • Using MobileMe Gallery instead of iWeb 06 for eBay Picture Hosting

    img src="http://gallery.me.com/YOURUSERNAME/100016/DCP17093/web.jpg"
After a problem with iWeb '06 I discovered, with help from members here and on eBay, that I can use MM Gallery for eBay. You Control-Click your Gallery picture to get its URL and paste that into your item description.

    UPDATE!
There's a package of 3 html files, one that is called index.html. that can find the URL of a photo on the grid page of an iWeb photo page. When used it will look like this
I'll put the zipped folder on my Cellar site in a bit and post back here with the URL to download it.

  • HT204053 How do I have my  wife's iphone 4s upload pics to the same icloud used for my ipad and iphone?  Phone does not allow changing icloud ID once established.

How do I have my wife's iphone 4s upload pics to the same icloud I use for with my 4s and ipad?  Can seem to change her icloud ID to match mine.

I can tell you how to do this but first wanted to be sure that's what you want to do.  You would then be sharing the same iCloud account and any synced data (contacts, calendars, etc.) would then be merged and the merge data would appear on her phone and your iPad (i.e., you'll end up with each other's contacts on your phone). You would also both be backing up your devices to the same account, sharing the 5GB of free storage (assuming you're both backing up to iCloud).
There's an alternative setup that would allow her to set up your iCloud account on her phone as her primary account and just turn on photo stream in that account (allowing your to share you photo stream), then set up a secondary iCloud account on her phone that would sync her Mail, Notes, Contacts, Calendars and Reminders.  She would still have to back up her phone to your account, as well as syncing Safari, Documents and Find My iPhone (all of which can only be done in the primary account).  Also, her mail would be fetch, not push as push email is only supported in the primary account.
I suppose a third option is to leave things as they are and share you photos with each other using shared photo streams.
Let me know what you want to do and I'll give you the steps.

I used to upload any picture to Fbook which was in my Iphoto.  Now, I can only upload pictures from IPhoto which are a week old.  I'm unable to upload any recent pics from Iphoto to FBook - like pics I uploaded to I photo today.  They are in IPhoto, but once I'm on FB, and want to upload, they aren't available to choose.  Help?  Thanks!  Louise

    thanks for replying.
the booting and walking away and then attempting to browse and clean method is what i've been trying to do.  it won't let me drag and drop and just freezes up and goes to sleep after 2 minutes.  it's a never ending battle with very few results. which is why i questioned the method of just restoring the hd from a time machine backup.
do you think restoring the hd from time machine will resolve the issue with all pics on the desktop?  and everything will be as it was from the date i restore it from?  sorry, as you can tell, i'm not overly computer savvy.
i have a really old desktop mac...i can try connecting the two...how does one boot a mac in 'target mode'?
as for the iphoto cleaning and organizing issue...that is what i was trying to accomplish with importing them to a folder.  was going to browse and clean from there...but somehow imported to desktop which is what's complicating everything.  once i get them off the desktop i can work on the iphoto issue...which as i mentioned...i didn't take 45,000 pics...i've just taken about 4,500 over the last few years, and they are being duplicated in iphoto.  this was my attempt to clean it out entirely and start over.  it will basically be a lot of deleting.
one problem, seems to lead me to more...which is just my luck.  :-)
    thanks again, for your help.

  • Uploading pics from Iphoto to website degrades quailty. Can anyone help??

When I upload my pictures from my digital camera to Iphoto, the picture quality is great. But, when I upload pics from Iphoto to any online website such as facebook, or email, etc, the picture quality degrades and looks very grainy. I tried using a compressor program to change the size of the picture but that doesn't seem to help. I'm using iphoto 08. Any suggestions??

Yes, the quality is very bad because you're uploading tiny thumbnail files. What would you expect?
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:
For 10.5 users: You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Apple-Click for selecting multiple pics.
To upload to a site that does not have an iPhoto Export Plug-in the recommended way is to Select the Pic in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and export the pic to the desktop, then upload from there. After the upload you can trash the pic on the desktop. It's only a copy and your original is safe in iPhoto.
This is also true for emailing with Web-based services. If you're using Gmail you can use THIS
If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
Or, if you want to access the files with iPhoto not running, then create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use THIS
    Other options include:
    1. *Drag and Drop*: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
    2. *File -> Export*: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
    3. *Show File*: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
    Regards

  • Can not load pictures for setting up an ebay auction there fore can not set up auction

Firefox will not upload images to ebay for starting an auction, the simple or complex form. You have to have an image for an auction now and if you do not you can not start the auction. Firefox will not upload any images to the auction page no mater what I tried. Explorer works, Opera works but I am unable to upload images in Firefox.

hello, [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=775879 bug #775879] offers some background into the issue - essentially the breakdown of the ebay photo uploader is a by-product of a security relevant fix that landed in firefox 16. ebay is already aware of the issue & hopefully they are working on implementing changes in their code to solve the issue.
