Can't use Adobe Muse due to connection BUG

When I launch Adobe MUSE, I got error message I-200 - try later. Not the first time!!! Explain my clients "Try Later", they'll replay "we'll pay later too" - Adobe customer service AWOL. HEEEEEEEEEELP!

Please delete the opm.db file found in:
on Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
on Windows XP: <youruser>\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\OOBE
on Windows 7: <youruser>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
If you don't immediately find this folder, you may need to:
on Mac: Use the "Go to folder" item in the "Go" menu in the Finder and enter the folder path above. You muse include tilde "~" in the path. It's a shortcut for your user name.
on Windows 7: Open a window to your Documents folder (or any folder) and type %localappdata% in the path field at the top. From there you should be able to navigate into the Adobe folder and then the OOBE folder where the opm.db file is found.
Please let us know if this enables you to launch and login successfully.

As confirmed by you Muse is asking for serial number on launch. Most of the time this happens because of Hosts file on the machine.
Please go ahead and rename the hosts file on your machine and you should be all set. here are the steps for both MAC and Windows.
Windows:
1. Go to following location. C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
2. Rename the file "Hosts" to "hostsold"
3 Relaunch Muse and sign in with your Adobe ID, you should be all set.
MAC:
1. Go to Finder > Go > Go to Folder
2. Type /etc and hit Return
3. Rename the file "Hosts" to "hostsold"
4. Relaunch Muse and sign in with your Adobe ID, you should be all set.

Can i use adobe muse in another laptop? i'm changing and i wont use my old laptop at all

Hello, i have been dealing with some problems in my laptop wich has windows so i heard that adobe apps work better in macs so i'm going to buy a macbook air today but i read or heard that i can only login in one device so before buying it i would like to know if i can login in another laptop or how to change to only login in that new laptop in creative cloud.
In case that i cant change to login in another device i would like to know what to do since my old laptop got damaged for the keyboard and i dont really want to invest in repairs for now (i'm using a usb keyboard).

Make sure you log out of your Creative Cloud account on the old notebook. I would also uninstall CC off the old notebook as well. Also be sure you have any files you want to save backed up off the old notebook. Once you have done that there shouldn't be any problem installing CC on a new MacBook Air.
Side note: it's a very generalized statement for someone to say CC works better on Mac OSX than Windows. There's a lot more variables at work in a notebook or desktop than just the operating system.

Can I use Adobe muse latest version for windows with 32 bits?

I can not injstall the latest version of Muse. I tried to uninstall creative cloud installed it again, but nothing works. My system should be ok. Maybe because I´m using the 32 bit instead of 64 it´s giving problems. Can anyone give me the answer?

Can't launch Adobe Muse "Application Manager is Needed" but i can't isntall it, just purchased a license for a year in adobe muse :(

Hello, always that i close and then try to open adobe muse, i got an error that says that i need the "Application Manager" to launch it, so i went to download it. After i entered in the page that it provides ( www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager_es ) it says that if i'm an already member of creative cloud that i should follow a ling that it's there, wich redirects me to download the creative cloud app. . Ok so i download it and installed, and then it works at the first time, but when i close Adobe Muse the error happens again, so i went directly to download the application manager, but when i'm installing it another error pops up and says that it can't be installed, that i should download Adobe Support Advisor ... ... ok so i went to download it, but i just went to find out that the application has been discontinued ... i had this problem since i installed Adobe Muse, so, i just uninstalled Creative Cloud and then re-install it (took me around 30 mins. or so) ... but i don't want to do that everytime i need to use adobe muse, those errors shouldn't happen i was so excited because i got adobe muse ... here are some screens

I installed creative cloud again and it worked, but when i close muse everything starts to happen again ... the only solution for now is that i have to uninstall creative cloud and then re install it, or it wont let me use adobe muse. I downloaded an old version but, can't work with newest proyects so, it's not useful at all because i can't continue the projects in the updated one

Yes, someone stole my original apple id in 2009. Now i bought another iphone in late 2012 , Created another apple id due to Apple not being able to help me access my original apple id. Which now since 2 months ago someone or company, or bank stole my second apple id. My iphone 4s with Sprint has no celluar connection supossedly due to no internet that is what sprint said but I looked it up on apple and it stated that there is a cellluar block on my iphone4s.
So I guess I will have to go in person to Sprint so they can explain that to me and why I was lied to on the phone earlier. Back to my 2nd stolen apple id that I registered my macbook,airport express router, and iphone4s and apple TV. So who ever stole this apple id obviously took over all my mac products I had registered to it. Enough about that back to trying to use time machine....Everytime i do, my macbook just starts acting all screwed up. I bought a WD external drive for Mac but I believe someone must have claimed it too. Since there is 75gb on it that I can't access. Kind of like my Macbook stating I can't save or have access to the Root . That is another thing after reinstalling snow lepoard which works great until I update it. Which is a problem because everytime I update it to 10.6.8 All the permissions are changed the graphics look horrible and I get redirected so bad its not funny. The email account is a joke. Also I notice my stationary for email is in Spanish not sure why and on Iworks the document samples are also in spanish. Now I dont speak any other language except ENGLISH AND HAVE LIVED IN UNITEDSTATES MY ENTIRE LIFE. But my internet provider Fibrant which swears they are local shows it is in the UK also when i try to access my email for that account it states it is not safe , certificate is expired and someone might be trying to impersonate my server. Needless to say it is getting old. I had this same problem with Timewarner and Att except att would just remove my ethernet driver then laugh when i would call and ask what the problem was. Then later I find out when I had DSL that somehow the phone number they had listed was change to being a digit off from my DSL account which again they laughed and thought it was funny. Enough about that. I need to know how to get access to my Apple id. I gave up on the first one but the second one I did have access to until I registered all my apple products. What is up with every thing I have with a usb port being corrupt. I have also notice anywhere in town where I live my phone is English until I come home it is arabic,hebrew , spanish any language except English. Shouldn't I be safer in my home??????????????? But I am not I am safer in town or anywhere but my home. EVerything states international in my home and this has been going on since 2009.....No one can tell me why. I try to foward it to Spam @ me but it hasn't helped.My iphone can only connect to the internet with wifi. Sprint swears that there is not a block but according to apple there is.

I won't to connect my iphone to itunes to try to restore it but it states I have to update it to 10.6.8. When I do that my computer is alot worse off. Also how can I use TimeMachine with out my Macbook getting messed up? Something in my house has taken over anything with a usb port actually years ago and probably now something kept turning all my computers and phones or any electronic I owned it to a printer. I actually can't even use a printer in my home thats the funny thing. When I try to connect one when I used windows it stated I had no rights to it and couldn't use it. Since I switch to Mac not much better. When I try to print a test page it is all crooked and too small of half off the page. So it is upsetting that I can't use a printer but something keeps turning all my electronics into printers. If anyone knows how to fix this problem that would be great or to stop all this international stuff going on in my home that would be wonderful. I try to buy brand new pcs but soon as I start them up something had already taken over. This is with nothing electronic in my home on. Turn everything that a power switch off or unplugged it. Still I lost rights and access to anything in my home. Now if I am away from my home and try to use one of my laptops they look completely different and almost usable. Unfortunately I can't afford to move. I thought about it but I am still in bankruptcy and don't have the money. In the last 4 years I have not been able to reinstall in backups that I have created. Not sure why oh wait it states I have no rights to do that. My macbook I lost access to a week after I bought it and connected my iphone too. You don't know how many times I wish I had never backed my iphone 4s to my Macbook. Right after I could not log into it. Even used the disk to reset the password nope still couldn't log into it. Try to type the formula for resetting the password and nope it didn't work either.
Any suggestions would be appreciated---Need to gain access to my apple Id that would be a great start

How to sell a file using adobe muse?

Hi,
I am trying to create an Ebook store using Adobe Muse. The PDF files can each be uploaded from my HDD but I want to sell them.
I want to use Paypal and I know how to initialise and place it from Widget bar. But what I can not figure out is how to relate this paypal button to the file so that users can access the files after purchasing it?
Do I need to write a code or place a specific HTML?

Hi Calvin,
You can't achieve this by Muse alone. This requires some server side coding as well. Alternatively, you can take advantage of Business Catalyst Ecommerce feature if you decide to host the site on BC. You can achieve this in 2 ways on BC.
1. You can create a secure zone, add the books to this secure zone and sell secure zone membership. Once the customer has purchased the secure zone membership, they will have access to the books.
2. You can create downloadable products and sell them on your site.

Can't open Adobe Muse

I installed Adobe Muse CC a couple of days ago. When I tried to open it today, a dialog box appeared with the following: it is necessary to have more account information to use adobe muse. If you wan't to continue, you have to log on" I pushed the next button, and the this came up "To continue, you must connect to the Internet. Your computer appears to be offline. An internet connection is required. Connect to the Internet and try again." Which is weird because I am connected to the internet. Pleas help me someone.

Create and send EDM using Adobe MUSE and Business Catalyst.

There is just one thing missing in my armour as a graphic designer – creating and sending EDMs.
Given the success of creating websites using Adobe Muse, an EDM functionality would be a fantastic addition to MUSE and Business Catalyst (BC). Imagine this:
1. I open Adobe Muse.
2. I select "New EDM" (instead of "New Site").
3. I design and build my EDM to spec.
4. I test my EDM using 'Preview' or a single send to myself.
5. I publish my EDM to Business Catalyst.
6. In BC, I review my EDM and add 'FROM NAME', 'FROM EMAIL ADDRESS' and 'SUBJECT'.
7. I import my database.
8. I hit SEND!
After my EDM has gone out, I can review a report in BC - just like any report for a website.
As a designer that does not know code but can build a website using MUSE - creating an EDM is the one thing I can't personally offer. Using a digital supplier can be expensive and website like Mail Chimp aren't professional enough.
To the Adobe Muse team, please – for the love of humanity – consider this as viable addition to MUSE. You will save a lot of heart ache and win a lot of hearts.

ExportPDF is an online convertion program. It is not OS dependent. You can use this service anywhere. You would just require a web browser and working internet connection.
