Can't Use Any Other Skins - Only the Ones That Came with DW

Hello Everyone,
I am a little frustrated, as I would think some of you may be.
I love Dreamweaver, but here's the problem I'm dealing with right now:
I am inserting videos in some webpages, and DW does a good and quick job of it right out of the box... if you use the Supplied Skins.
I have made some custom skins and it would be fantastic if DW would let me use them.
I put them in the folder with the included skins, and I can choose them from the skin selector dialog box, But they don't work in Live View, or when loaded into a browser.
It's not just my custom skins either, I tried using the skins that came with Flash CS4, both AS2 & AS3 with the same results.
Any Ideas??

I've seen this tutorial before and tried it, but I had some problems, which I think is a missprint in the tutorial itself... maybe you can help clarify.
The tutorial gives two code blocks, a before and an after.
Problem:
The after codeblock seems to be missing an opening tag, and I don't know how to fix it.

How would you fix this?
Also, when I just try and fix the paths to see the skin that I want to use, that doesn't work either

I bought my phone from ebay and it came with a charger and a wall charger. My phone will not work with any other chargers just the one it came with. The charger works, but it won't forever, when it comes time to buy a new charger I'm scared it won't work with my phone. y is this iphone 4 problem in the ipad section. did u mean u got an ipad? becuase if thats the case then its entirely possible that u have an ipad adaptor and the reason its not working with the other adaptors is because they are not enough wats and they are meant for iphones. the charger used should make a difference though.

Make sure both the charger and connector are certified and that they are in good working order. Test them with another iPhone if possible. If the charger is working, then the problem might be the lighting connector port. Check and see if it is dirty. If not then there might be a hardware problem. Take the phone in to an Apple Store or authorized service provider for evaluation and possible replacement. Take the cable and charger as well.

Also when I plug the phone into itunes it only gives me the option to either restore or eject the phone. Up until today I never had any problems, I sync it regularly and all the software (inc itunes) is up to date. The last time I backed it up was about a month ago when I got the phone, (a replacement as my other iphone4 had loads of problems) so I don't want to have to restore it and lose everything off it!

Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.
Take it to Apple for evaluation and a replacement.

Welcome to the Apple community.
Settings > iCloud, scroll down and delete the account, sign back in by choosing the option to create a new Apple ID.

It's in your Keychain on the computer you usually use to connect to your network - the "kind" will be "AirPort Network Password".
Your Keychain can be opened by using the Keychain Access program. It is in your Utilities Folder.
Open Keychain Access, and type airport in the search field. You will see a number of entries. Choose the one with the name of your wireless network, open it, and check the box next to "show password". Before it reveals itself you will be asked for your login password - the one you use to log in to your MacBook.
The network password will appear in the box.
Quit Keychain Access.

As you need to be on 10.6 to be able access the App Store to download Lion, either get replacement discs via Applecare (you'll need the MBP's serial number to get the right ones) or get the SL retail disc. I would recommend the Original disc replacement set (assuming they were 10.6) as they carry not onlyApple Hardware Test for your model, but the iLife apps other bundled sftware that isn't on the retail disc.
Once you've installed, and used Software Update to get to 10.6.8, you can then get Lion if you're feeling masochistic.

Keeps asking me for serial number when starting up program and when entered it tells me it's not a valid serial number, but it's the one that came with my software

I purchased CS6 Design and Web Premium through the Department of Education Australia just over a year ago and now I can no longer access my software. It keeps asking me for my serial number, but when I enter the serial number that came with the product it tells me it is invalid???

Check with the school to make sure the licensing should still be valid. Some school make arrangements only for temporary licensing.

How can I get the older versions of iWorks ('13 the ones that came with Mavericks) now that I've purchased a new iMac with Yosemite?

It just hit me the other day (when my New Mac was on its way) that it would ship with Yosemite and of course ONLY the newest versions of iWorks. This machine is for a person in our business office and she should not have a different version of Pages and Numbers than everyone else in the company. (we upgrade those apps all together so exchanged files can be opened by everyone). I understand the Migration Assistant will only keep the newer versions when Applications is selected in the process and the App Store will not let me get the older version. This machine must have the older (Mavericks) versions of those applications so I'm considering partitioning and installing Mavericks even though it would bork my support. Is there any other way to install those versions on Yosemite? Thanks!

Thanks for the response. I understand and we Don't have volume licenses. All the apps we download are from our single school admin account. Would it still be piracy if I copied them from her old machine to her new one (both being company machines)
If not, Is there any way to accomplish what I trying to do with compliance? Purchase the apps from somewhere?

Audition CC not showing up ANY VSTs.. even the ones that come with the Software.

Trying to use Audition to it's "fullest" and NOTHING is showing up in the Audio Plug-In Manager, VST or VST 3 fly out panels. I've scanned several folders with no success. I've also tried various suggestions, like installing jbridge, etc. and others mentioned online but nothing has worked. Any feedback on this? Thanks!

Thirdly, what happens when you try add an effect that comes with the software:
a) Effects > Amplitude and Compression > Amplify...
b) Effects > Amplitude and Compression > DeEsser...

When I plug my iPad into a wall circuit and leave it for 18 hours the battery level only goes from 55% to 66% and then it quotes charging. Is this normal or do I have trouble with my adapter, it is the one that came with the iPad?

I can't tell you why it is doing this but it should not take anywhere near that long to recharge.
Try another power adapter if you have access to one - borrow one from a friend, try another wall socket, another cable ... take it to an Apple Store and let them try to charge it for you.
You can try resetting the iPad and see if that helps but I have my doubts - but it will not hurt anything either.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Your battery gauge may be giving you an incorrect reading - but I think that would be a long shot as well. How many hours of use do you get at 66%?

How do I separate the iPad's own generic calendar app from a calendar app I purchased, so that the entries I put into the new app don't cross over to the generic app? Also, whenever changing over to a new calendar app, is it always possible to transfer all data from the old to the new or is there a limit on quantity or time frame ever? Does it depend on the app?

I have an error message that won't go away and stops me from using any other buttons in the screen.

I have an error message reading 'item over 1 byte. Connect to a wifi network or use iTunes on your computer to download 'tv show'.
When I connect it to iTunes or use a wifi network nothing changes. The warning remains in place no matter how many times I push 'ok'. iTunes actually says the show is already fully downloaded.
I can't use any other button or controls because the only thing responding is the 'ok' button on the error message.
I've now given up and am just trying to exhaust the battery. What a joke. This device is only a week old.
Anyone else with a suggestion on how to make the error message go away? I'm worried this will happen again.

At the moment it's not possible, but you could try providing feedback to Apple here http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html (this has come up a few times so you won't be the first person to request it).
An alternative if you only want your customers to have access to only one app, is to look for cases that prevent access to the home button so that they can't get access to the home screen and therefore other apps. e.g. http://www.staypad.com/photos.html is a mounted case for use on walls/tables etc (there are probably others available, that is just the first one that my search found).
