Can't use Kubota in Photoshop CC 2014

I do most of my editing in Lightroom but still do a few things in Photoshop using Kubota tools. I recently upgraded to the new Photoshop CC 2014 but am unable to install Kubota with the new version. I contacted Kubota and they said that if I can download Photoshop CC before the most recent update I should be able to use the palette still but I can't find a way to backtrack and get the older version. What I would really like to do is just upgrade from CS4 to CS5 or CS6 but I can only find options on the Adobe site for getting CC. Hoping someone can help. Thank you very much in advance!

Thanks for your reply! I would love to upgrade to CS6 but unfortunately my old version is CS4 so I would have to pay the full price rather than the upgrade fee which is a bit pricey. :S Really appreciate the link though!
I clicked on "Previous Version" but the only options that show are for Bridge, Edge Animate, Extension Animator and Gaming SDK. No Photoshop CC. Darn!
Also, to answer your question, here is a portion of what Kubota said:
"Flash is not supported with this new Photoshop CC 2014. That is why the Extensions are greyed out, so ANY extension you have including the Kubota DASHBOARD will not work.
However, I believe there may be a workaround. It seems like Adobe did not want us to be completely without when it comes to our extensions because a lot of people still use them. So, this new version of Photoshop does not completely overwrite your old one, if we were to install the standard version of Photoshop CC I believe it would coexist and we could get our DASHBOARD back."
... So it looks like they might not be able to make their product compatible for the new version hey?

Photoshop crashes when I use Edit in Photoshop CC 2014 from Lightroom 5.6

I have Adobe Lightroom 5.6. Whenever I try to Edit in Photoshop CC (2014) when Photoshop has not been started, Photoshop immediately crashes with a message of:
Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 cannot be opened because of a problem.
This happens regardless of what option I choose to Edit in: 1) Copy with Lightroom adjustments, 2) Copy, or 3) Original
If Photoshop is already open, I don't have this problem.
I am running Mac OS X Mavericks. Everything is up to date.
How can I correct this?

That is not an application crash - that is a kernel panic, which means there is a hardware defect, a bug in the OS or a bug in a low level driver (like parts of the video driver). Kernel panics are not caused by applications, but by defective hardware or bugs in the OS and drivers.
Resetting prefs may avoid the settings that triggered the crash - but the cause remains in the hardware, OS, or driver code.
Since Apple is not going to update the drivers in 10.6.8, your best bet is to update the OS when you can, and hope the new drivers are in better shape. Unfortunately, it is also possible that you just have a bad GPU or video RAM - and fixing that would require replacing the video card or system (in the case of laptops or all-in-one machines).

Can't use "Edit in Photoshop" for RAW images

I can't get Lightroom's "Edit in Photoshop" feature to work for CR2 RAW files (from Canon Rebel T2i). I've installed the latest Camera Raw update, and Photoshop can open the RAW files. However, when I use "Edit in Photoshop" within lightroom, Photoshop (CS5) opens, but then nothing happens.
Previous threads have mentioned this issue, but none gives a solution that worked for me. One user reported rebooting as the solution; other solutions involved trashing the preferences files for Photoshop and Lightroom. I've tried those, but no luck. The "Edit in Photoshop" feature does work for JPEG files.
Any further ideas? I'm using Lightroom 3, CS5, and Mac OS (Snow Leopard).

Can't use 3D in Photoshop CC

I've been trying to use 3D in Photoshop with either a Smart object or text converted to a shape but the 3D options are all grey'd out. Is there a preference I don't have setup properly? My computer is a MacBook Pro w/Retina display and 16gb of ram.

Upgrade mac can I use my old photoshop

I am being forced to upgrade my Mac from 10.5 but when I do the new system won't allow me to use my old photoshop 10.0
Anyway around this? A new photoshop is tooooooooooo expensive.

Try reinstalling and updating CS3 from an administrator account. Let me know how it turns out. It should at least open.

Save files as PNG to original folder, using droplets in Photoshop CC 2014

I want to save RAW images from Lightroom as PNG and found a method online that involves using a droplet in PS. I created this droplet with an action in PS that involves saving an image file as a PNG, to a folder which I call 'PNG files'. To get a PNG file the procedure goes like this:
From Lightroom the image is saved as a TIFF in a new folder within it's original folder
After saving the image, the droplet is used automatically from Lightroom;
The TIFF image is opened in Photoshop, and saved as a PNG in the 'PNG files' folder
My issues with this is that (1) it creates an unneeded TIFF file and (2) The final PNG image is not saved in the folder of the original RAW file. Ideally I'd like to convert the TIFF to PNG in Photoshop and overwrite the TIFF file with the final PNG file. However with the way Photoshop "Save As" and "Save for Web" functions are set up, I must choose a specific folder for the PNG file, which means that all the resulting images end up in one folder, instead of in whichever folder the TIFF file was saved to. With droplets there is an option to "Save and Close" which would overwrite the original TIFF file with the final file. However this bypasses the action where I saved the image as a PNG, so I'd essentially be overwriting one TIFF file with another TIFF file.
The situation now is that for the sake of organization I'd have to (1) delete the TIFF files after each export and (2) Move the final PNG files to the folders I want them to be in. This of course would be time consuming.
If you could help me with this problem I'd be extremely grateful! With the medium I'm using PNG files display much better than JPG. Now I just want to achieve a smooth workflow.

When you record the action to Save As PNG (not save for web) it doesnt matter where the location is.
You will override this in the droplet.
Action- states a location of 2014/06/04 (irrelevant)
Droplet- Overrides the location.
The Save and close portion of the droplet does just that. A location is never asked for.
The preference in Photoshop- ensures the png is saved alongside the tiff.

My account lost information about my order and subscription. As a result I can't use Lightroom and Photoshop as they are in the state of the expired demo.

I paid my annual subscription on the 26th of November last year. I've installed both Lightroom and Photoshop and started using them quite successfully.
Then I installed the same products on my home Mac and migrated all my Apperture libs to it. Everything went smoothly.
However one day I got a message that I can't develop photos in Lightroom due to my account problems. I logged in into my adobe id to check what's wrong and realized that my account was on free creative cloud.
I tried to check my other appleIds - all were empty. I found a link at the Adobe FAQ how to check orders but the page didn't find my order number I took from the Adobe order confirmation email.
Does anybody know how to make it all working again? How to link again my paid order to my AdobeId?

Can I use my persponal Photoshop CC license at work?

I've subscribed to the Photoshop and Flash Creative Cloud and I was wondering if I could use them at work.
I have a workstation to which only I have acces at work. I never have my private machine and my workstation turned on at the same time, am I legally allowed to do this?

You are allowed 2 activated copies, not running at same time, so if this works you are fine. You can have it installed on more than 2 machines, just only two activated.

Using 'Edit in' - Photoshop CC 2014, the program opens, but the file doesn't appear. Help!

I have Adobe CC Photography (great value!). I need to do some Photoshop editing of my pictures - principally Levels 0 and so use the 'Edit in' functionality.
This has worked in the past; but today, Photoshop opens, but the file doesn't appear in the PS window.
I uninstalled (using MacKeeper) a copy of Photoshop Elements 12 on my hard drive recently - could that be the cause? In any case, how do I get back to being able to 'Edit in'?

Can I use my Windows Photoshop CS6 serial on a Mac?

I recently purchased CS6 for my pc. Now, I have a Mac and am wondering if I can use the second download on my Mac. Will Adobe issue me a Mac version?

Nothing. You are just exchanging your PC version for a Mac version. Just like exchanging a pair of shoes that are the wrong size. You trade your PC version for the Mac. But, since software is software, not shoes, you have to commit or somehow authenticate you are not still using the PC version as well.
But, in referance to iCloud, I'm not convinced about the safety issues plus the ability to retrieve files as of yet.
Adobe Cloud is different from Apple iCloud. From what I understand... Adobe Cloud is really just a membership service. You keep the actual app and its products on your machine. Its activation is controlled via an internet connection. At least, that is my understanding.
