Can't use the HP CD to install my printer to my new Surface Pro 2

I need to install my HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m printer to a second computer, but it's a Surface Pro 2 that doesn't have an E drive or a USB port to connect an external drive. My Surface Pro 2 runs on a Windows 8.1 32-bit OS.
Could you please provide me with a link so I can install it from that?

I have downloaded for 12 hours initial installation on one mac for mavericks, and all installed successfully. Rather than download again for another mac, can I use the same download and copy on to the other mac..and if yes, where will I find it?

All you need to do is go to System Preferences > App Store and uncheck the automatic install of updates box, then download the Mavericks installer, and copy to a flash drive. You will need a flash drive of 8 G B or more since the installer is around 5.3 GB. The installer will be in Finder > Applications. You can then copy that flash drive installer to the Applications folders in all the Macs you have that are capable of running Mavericks, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5842.
When the installer runs, the last step in the installtion is for the installer to erase itself. So makng a copy before the installer runs is essential if you want to avoid redownloading.
Installing from the same installer does not cause problems for Macs on the same network.

I have Aperture 3.2 on my old Mac laptop and would like to know how to move it over to my new macbook pro retina laptop. I tried to just move it from my external hard drive, but that didn't work. Can I use the migration assistant to transfer this and only this program to my new laptop?

Apple Pro Apps like Aperture really do best if installed from the original media that hey were bought on. Trying to migrate Aperture can lead to a lot of frustrating problems.
The libraries can be copied over just as you would any file but the application itself needs to be installed.
How did you purchase Aperture? If you got it in the Mac App Store then all you need to do is log into the MAS from the new computer using the same Apple ID you used to buy Aperture and download it.
If you bought it on DVD you will need to install from those and then run software update to get to the latest version. Remember if you bought it on DVD you will need the original serial number that was included in the package. Also if this was and upgrade from an earlier version (1 or 2) you will need those serial numbers also.

I've got older systems, ones that can't handle CS6, and a budget too low to purchase a new system and your software even with a student discount. Is there any way to use an update version? I wish that all of the "Creative Suite[s] products [would] continue to be available for sale via ESD on Adobe.com"(Adobe)*, or at least most of them. I understand the need to update, and that the industry is difficult with competitors, but I wish that all of your software versions were aimed towards 32 bit systems too. There are plenty that can keep up with the operating System updates, and I only wish that you would have kept at least CS5 on support instead of shutting it down. So, if you won't accept support of older products, can you help me with this? Or is this beyond any of the software contracts that is in the company's power? I appreciate any assistance in this matter.

You can only buy CS6 and CC. Otherwise you will have to find someone willing to part with his license and run a license transfer. Though, quite frankly this doesn't really make sense. You can buy cheap laptops withe a suitable 64bit version of Windows 7/ 8 for 300 Euros. The money saved could easily be invested in a CC student plan rather than possibly trying to find an overpriced older version with the risk of getting scammed... Otherwise you can use the trials of course, but that's about it.

No. Installers that come with a computer originally are machine specific. They will not work on different hardware. You need the original discs that came with the computer or a retail version of OS X that installs a later version of OS X than was originally installed. In your case that sounds like you need to purchase a retail copy of Snow Leopard.

Can't use the "send by e-mail" button on forms created in Acrobat Pro 9 with Firefox

I created a form in Acrobat Pro 9.5.2 with a "send by e-mail" button as usual (not using LiveCycle Designer). Since a few months, users cannot send forms using that button USING FIREFOX works fine in Explorer. I've been creating and using those forms since 2 years whitout any problems but now this is A BIG PROBLEM for our office as all our reservation forms uses this technology.
Steps to reproduce bug:
1. create a form using Acrobat Pro. add an action button " send a form". send the Entire PDF form not just FDF. go in advance tool to give all rights to end-users (in French it's "étendre les fonctions d'adobe reader" I think it’s enable the usage rights for Reader ion English.)
2.publishing the form on my website (or send by e-mail to someone who use reader)
3. filling the form
Results:
when the user fill the form he can't send it by e-mail using the button. Nothing happens when hitting that button. It is not possible to save the document as well. Nothing can be done, not even printing or saving it. I've tried almost all browsers I know and nothing works.
Expected results:
the form should be send by e-mail (as an attachment in general) like before. please help me! this is really important, our office have a lot of calls and we are just 2 people here (non-profit organization). should we buy Acrobat Pro X ?

When your customers opened the PDF form (which was as an email attachment) on iPads, it is highly likely that Apple Mail (not Adobe Reader for iOS) was displaying the preview of the PDF form. Please note that Apple products on iPad/iPhone (e.g. Apple Mail, iBooks, Safari) do not render field contents or annotations (sticky notes, highlight, underline, strikeout, freehand drawing, etc.) in PDF documents.

If it didn't take for some reason, go to System Preferences… and select the Languages & Text preference pane and reorder the languages accordingly.
Note however that specifying a language may not necessarily change everything about a system to being in that language.

Can't use the jai package after installing it

when i downloaded the package it was an exe file that extracts the package and instals it.
the default path for installation was c:/jbuilderx/jdk1.4.1 so i kept it like that and i got 3 files,
jai_core ( i think this is the main package ) in the path C:\JBuilderX\jdk1.4\jre\lib\ext ,
jai_codec in the same path ,
mlibwrapper_jai in the same path ,
but in my project when i write 'import' i can't find it anywhere so plz tell me what to do

take the JAI files and put them in the corresponding folders of your current Java installation, there isn't any classpath to them, so you cannot see them.

The Adobe auto updater is highly unreliable.
You need to look for and download the update yourself and then manually apply it as per the detailed instructions on the download page:

I need java dvelopment kit to work on a certain website. plugin is set as "ask to activate" but i don't get a option to activate so can't use the website

I need the Java Development Toolkit to work on a specific site to measure packet loss. As Firefox lists the plugin as a security risk there is no way to "enable" it permanently. So i choose the "ask to activate" option. but when i visit the site that requires java development toolkit, no option to click on anything to activate, no pop ups nothing. and i can't use the site.
Have installed latest java plugin, uninstalled, re-installed etc.
how can I solve this issue [short of dumping Firefox]

I tried that and it allowed me to select to activate the development toolkit on that site but the feature on the site still didn't work.
I can access the site and get it to work in IE and so I tried opening the site in Firefox with IE tab 2 but still no luck.
I am trying to use the site pingtest.com to measure my internet performance but the packet test always fails with java toolkit error.
Any other ideas greatly appreciated as I hate using IE. I have latest java update and everything too
