Can´t validate my serial nr...
I have installed CS6 trial version on my MacBook Pro. When i try to validate the serial number i get the same message each time: the number is wrong. I don´t understand. I have manage to install the same CS6 on my iMac and i worked perfect. How kan i solve this problem.
You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

Can't validate serial number for CS6
I am on a mac osx 10.8 and I just bought Photoshop CS6 (got the box/cd in the mail) and when I type in my serial it says
"We are unable to validate this serial number for Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended. Please contact Customer Support"
I spent 3 hours on the phone with Adobe Support and they were unable to solve and gave me a case number. Was hoping someone on the forum would have better ideas.
SethI am up to 6 hours of support calls and 2 escalated case numbers and no one can seem to help me. Does anyone have a suggestion for me?

Elements 13 can't validate serial number. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!
Hi. I recently bought Elements 13. Upon installation it requested I validate my serial number. But the program would not go online to do so. The message keeps repeating "please go online to validate your serial number". I have registered it on my adobe account, and uninstalled and reinstalled the program but the problem persists. My internet is just fine and my internet security is turned off. Please help because at the moment I can't use the program at all. I don't know why they have to make it so difficult...Cheers

I am connected to the internet and still get an error stating connect to internet and validate your serial number.
On a clean windows machine, the hosts file should contain only this:
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.

# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

If you have anything else, then you know that your machine is compromised by a hacker, or malware or a virus.
Of course, people who are developing websites (me included) then it might contain other things to make sure php, apache and mysql works correctly but for the majority of people it should be exactly like what I have posted above.
In this file, everything is commented out so it affects absolutely nothing on the system and connections to the outside world is an absolute certainty. All links should work in this scenario. -
I bought the CS6 Design Standard student and teacher edition over amazon. I activated the product on my adobe account and got a serial number. But when I install the package and enter the serial number I a message saying "We are unable to validate this serial number for Creative Suit 6 Design Standard. Please contact Customer Support."
Does anyone know what is up with this? I am sure that the problem isn't anything along the lines of making mistakes when typing in the serial (tried it multiple times, used copy paste to reduce chance of error). It's also not any problem with me lacking an internet connection adobe to validate the serial.Serial number questions can't be handled on the forums. Trial version of CS6 Master Collection keeps asking me to validate a serial number.
I downloaded the trial version of CS6 Master Collection for Windows. I installed it as a trial on a 64 bit windows machine. When I try to run any application, I am asked to validate a serial number even though none has ever been entered. I uninstalled, rebooted, downloaded and ran the latest version of the Adobe Cleaner and rebooted. I reinstalled and I am still being asked to validate a serial number. There have been registered versions of Photoshop CS 5 and CS5,5 on this machine, as well as a trial version of Photoshop CS6. I have tried everything I know. Help please?

It shows Validating Serial Number screen on every launch.?
Does it hang their or shows an error?
If it shows an error then on next screen does it prompt for entering new serial Number?
Can you please send oobelib.log (in %temp% in windows and /tmp in Mac) so that I can help you in a better manner.

Hi memorse414414, Your Adobe ID will suffice for activation. For subscription, the installer would validate from the server using your Adobe ID.

I cannot validate the serial number on premiere elements and photoshop elements. Stil saying that i do not have any connection with the internet. I already tried to contact the adobe chat. They did help me, but what they say did not work.
They said that I had to contact helpdeks, but they would not help me. I had to go to the chat again. The chat does not work.

Did you purchase Premiere Elements 13 from Adobe direct? If so, you can get your money back within 30 days of purchase.
I can post an Adobe Chat Orders link for that if necessary.
Did Adobe Chat or any of its representatives offer to do a remote control of computer troubleshooting to get to the core of your
problem? We in this user to user forum cannot do that, Adobe Chat might. But, again, we are not Adobe.

Just to summarize...
a. In the hosts file....you saw nothing but the default entries
b. You download and installed the Adobe Application Manager and that did not solve the problem
c. You renamed the SLCache and SLStore Folders and that did not help
But, can you disable the antivirus and firewall(s) to see if resolves the issue in anyway?

I received my serial number online and went through the installation process. After it was successfully installed I wend to open Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and followed the prompt to enter my serial number and then received this error message "We are unable to validate this serial number for Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. Please Contact Customer Support."
I've read several FAQ and troubleshooting discussions but none have touched specifically on this.
I would have called customer support but did not see a number to call.

We just had a member of our team leave for a new job who we had upgraded from CS6 to CC a few months ago. We've been trying to install his "old" copy of CS6 on a new employee's machine using their (new) company Adobe ID but when entering the serial number during installation we get the following message:
"We are unable to validate this serial number for CS6 Design and Web Premium. Please contact Customer Support."
Trouble is, when going through CS6 CS there doesn't seem to be any direct contact for CS (no phone, no chat). Is the serial number still tied to his work Adobe ID? If so, how can we deactivate that so as to re-open the license for a fresh install?As far as I know (I do not work for Adobe) a serial number is "tied" to the person who activated it... so you are going to need to DE-activate by logging in on the old computer with the old ID
Then, to use that serial number with a new person, I **think** you will need to do a license transfer (you may be able to just activate with a new ID, but I really don't know)

When you purchased it from Amazon, did you purchase it from Amazon or through a reseller selling the software through Amazon. If you purchased it from a reseller, than you may have purchased pirated goods. Contact Amazon, they will refund your money then purchase the product through the Adobe store so you can be sure you are getting non-pirated goods.

No, you can only activate on 2 machines. The rest sounds fishy. A G5 by no means meets even the basic specs for any of the video programs du to not being intel and not being 64bit. Even PS wouldn't install on such a machine, so I'm slightly wondering what you actually installed or what machine you are referring to...
