Can't view audio controls (time remaining, scrub bar, etc.) in os5 on iPhone 4

Since upgrading to OS5, my iPhone 4 won't display the audio controls during music or podcast playback.
Very annoying since I really liked the time remaining and scrub features that I had before.
Is this a bug? Or is there some setting control that I haven't yet found to re-enable these features?

Just found the solution on a different thread.
Turns out that the audio controls can be toggled on and off, though this isn't explained in the manuals.
paraphrased from the other solution:
"While your audio file is playing, double-tap and hold (on the album artwork) until the scrubbing bar reappears.
A double tap doesn't seem to do it. You have to hold the second tap down to get it to work. Don't lift your finger from the second tap until the scrubbing bar re-appears. "

Not only do web pages not load properly but we're doing calculus on-line and only 1 video can be viewed at a time. last week we didn't have problem. wish i could call someone. not getting any help.

a number of site say done and we see a blank page. on-line calculus class, last week could view more than 1 video at a time now only 1 can be viewed. this course need to be completed by may 3. career builders some of the drop downs aren't working. need to find a job. these are serious errors that we did not experience before. we haven't updated to 4.0. now i see the one's who have are having these problems. daughter can't gt to e-mail. wish i could talk to someone. i'm going to try the live session at 2 but i'm not a techy. can take care of most problems, but this seems beyond me. HELP

If you are wondering why you are not getting any responses, it is because you have vented a complaint without any details that make any sense or give anyone something to work on.
If you want help, I suggest actually detailing what has happened, with versions of software etc. Anything that would let us assist.
As a start I am guessing that you have not really got the hang of "How it all works". Firstly download the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf from under the Help menu. Read that and view the Video Tutorials in the same place. A good addition would be the iWork 09 Missing manual book and something to help you learn how to use your Mac.

How can I view The date, time, sender and/or receiver of a text message online?

I would like to view the date and time sender and receiver of my text messages I read it can be done. I can't find where. If somone one could point me out in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks

Log into your account and to the right of the phone photo you will see usage details in blue then on the next screen pick the phone on the account you want to see the details for and under that you can click to see eveyrthing in detail. Mary

I can't view the run time browser in LR11.5

I'm using LR11.5 and I found there is no "During Replay" section in Tools, I wanna see the broswer during replay, but I can't found the configuration. but in LR11.52 and the previous version of LR, I can found this setting. could you help?

Tools > Options > Scripting > Replay > During Replay -> Select Show Run Time Viewer during Replay Check box, select Auto Arrange window check box

Can't View Backups Within Time Machine

After 8 months of flawless operation Time Machine give an error backing up. I deleted the ".InProgress" and "Latest" files within the .backupsdb file. After this Time Machine did a proper backup - it showed up within the .backupsdb file. When I now enter time machine I don't see the 8 months of backups - only todays backup.
Is there anything I can do to get TM to show the full range of backups?

That's not good. You can corrupt your backups that way. Time Machine can recover from a partial backup all by itself. And the "latest," which is an alias, not a file, is what makes the +Today / Now+ panel. I think TM will re-create it for you.
Do a +Repair Disk+ (not permissions) on your TM drive via Disk Utility (in your Applications/Utilities folder).
If you have a problem with TM, start with the Time Machine - Troubleshooting post at the top of this forum.

How can l get audio only from my Apple TV 3 to output through Iphone 5 using Airplay or something else so l can watch my Apple TV and listen to it through my iphine headphones without waking the family at night

I am wanting to remotely listen to the audio form my Apple Tv3 (about 13feet away).
I would normoally jusy plug in a headphone extension cable into the TV but it does
not have a headphone output jack.
I was thinking it would be the best option to simply have the audio stream to my iphone 5
thus allowing me to watch my Apple TV late at night without waking the family,
I was wanting to use the iphoine 5 as the audio sort of like a remove headphone reciever.
If l could get airplay ro play the audio from the ATV3 to the iphone5 then my guess is that
would be the best solution. Basically use the iphone 5 as an Airplay receiver / server.
Any other alternative would be great to hear. Any solution that gives me good quality sound

Not possible. Audio can be output to airplay enabled speakers via ATV settings and then headphones connected to them.

I can't open the control centre with a Griffin Survivor Case on my iPhone 5.

The title says it all really. The plastic of the case ends really close to the screen and there is an inbuilt screen protector. This means I can't register touch on the bottom edge of the screen, which is apparently where you have to swipe to open the control centre. I have no problems opening the notifications, swiping down from the top.
Does anyone alse have this problem, which the same or different cases? I know there are similar issues with Otterbox cases too.
I hope Apple will notice the problem and make a fix soon. It should be simple enough - just move the swipe spot up a little like the one at the top of the screen.

I have the OtterBox Armor case which has a similar design and thus problem. After much practice I can now open CC with about 3 or 4 attempts. Much better than when I started and thought it just couldn't be done. I really have to start at the exact middle of the bottom of where the screen meets the case.

you have a different issue then, sounds like your appletv cannot get access to the internet.

there's no point emailing apple, as the issue is most likely internal to your network and not a fault with the appletv.
Does upgrading to snow leopard help?
that would have no affect on the appletv being able to access the internet.

How can change view in mail.receipts from Macy look good in iPad and iPhone, but not readable in mail

I would like to change from Outlook to mail. I recently got an e-mail with a receipt from Macys. It looks good on my iPhone and on my iPad. It looks good on Outlook, but its ugly on mail. Instead of having one compressed picture, the content is widely distributed. I have installed Maverick.

The reason I asked is because keying all devices synced is exactly what it is all about.
FYI, You need to use the Mail application, but you do NOT need to use an @me.com account. It support Gmail and other mail servers.

Remote control time constraint

Hi. How can i limit the time for certain user to control my vi panel remotely. For example, i would like to limit every user to control the panel for only 15 minutes each. I have followed the instructions in the help in labview, that is by selecting the vi file i want and set the time constraint. However, it doesn't work. Could you please give me some advise on solving this issue? Thank you in advance.

First of all, thank you for responding to my enquiry. Yes, I have selected Tools>>Options>>Web Server: Visible Vis and then select my vi file and set the time limit to 500 seconds as well. However, when i control the panel remotely, i am not limited to 500 seconds only. I can control the panel as long as i want to. And, when i check the control time remaining while i am remotely controlling the panel, nothing happens. I am using WindowXP, LV6.1 and the latest IE. Once again, thank you.
