  • Can't view document

I'm running a beta test of the eSignature process to see if it will work for what we need.  I've uploaded the doc and signed it, and then gone in under a different account to co-sign.  As the 2nd signer, it's telling me I have to upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader before I can view the document.  I'm using the full version of Acrobat 9 Pro.  What gives?

For additional info... I just installed the latest Adobe Reader as well. (So now I have both Acrobat Pro 9 and Adobe Reader.)  I still can't view this document....eSignature is still telling me I need the latest version of Adobe Reader.  So far, the beta test is failing miserably.  Can anyone help?

  • Can't view document in library and I have View/Read Access

Hello,  I have a document library that has unique permissions to edit and above but our "AllUsers" in our Active Directory has Read/View permission but those users cannot see 1 particular file in that library.  This issue is driving me
crazy and I feel that I have spent way too long on what I believe I should of been able to solve quickly!  :o)  All other users that have edit and above access to the library can see and open the document and as far as I can tell it is not currently
checked out to any one user either.  Does anybody have ANY ideas on what the issue is and what I can try or look at, I will do anything at this point!  :o)  We are Windows 7 / SharePoint 2013 and O365.  Thanks in advance for your help!
    Joan

    Hi Joan,
According to your description, my understanding is that the user who have read/view permissions were not able to see one particular file in a library in SharePoint 2013 Online.
Please go to the problematic library, check whether you enabled versioning as Library Settings->Versioning settings->Document Version History. If yes, in Draft Item Security section, select ‘Any user who can read items’, then click OK.
    I hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Wendy

  • Can't view document workspace-help?

I suddenly cannot view my document workspace in PhotoShop CS3...does anyone know what I might have done or need to reset?  I can see the open document in the navigator, but cannot access it on the screen.

This is normally because the document window is off the screen and can be due to a variety of reasons.
Did you previously have a second monitor connected?
Have you tried different screen resolutions?
You could also try resetting your preferences as described in the FAQ
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/375776?tstart=0
You either have to physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if using the Alt, Ctrl, and Shift method, be sure that you get a confirmation dialog.
This resets all settings in Photoshop to factory defaults.    A complete uninstall/re-install will not affect the preferences and a corrupt file there may be causing the problem.

  • Can't view documents, they show up gray.

This issue is in Adobe Reader 8. It started when I received an Adobe file that was a signed document. The signature block was grayed out, so I clicked on Document, then Sign, then preview document. Since that time all adobe documents are grayed out on the monitor. If I send it to the printer, they print fine, if I forward the Adobe file, other folks can open it just fine. I dumped and then reinstalled Adobe, and that did not do it. The Document, then Sign, then preview document, combination allows me to view some documents, but not all. They print just fine, but that is a pain when I need one page out of ten and don't know the exact one I need then I have to print them all. How do I solve this issue?

Check your page display preferences and make sure that "display large images" is checked.
Not sure if that's it but that's the first thing I'd try.

  • Can I view documents in a web browser?

I was under the assumption I would be able to send my documents to iCloud and then edit them within a web browser. Is this not the case?
When I go to iCloud.com all I see is an option to install iWork on IOS devices.

Your assumption was wrong.  You can not edit them online.

  • Can I view the Mac Lion side of my partition from the Windows 7 side?

I got Rosetta Stone for PC, on the Mac side of my partitioned Boot Camp.
    Specs:
    320 GB internal SATA
-250 GB Mac OS X Lion partition (primary)
-50 GB NTFS Windows 7 Ultimate partition
    -20 GB Snow Leopard partition
    500 GB External HDD
If I boot from the Lion or Snow Leopard, I can see all three partitions and modify the files (I partitioned the hard drive from the Lion side). However, if I boot from the Windows 7 Ultimate side of Boot Camp, the two Mac OS Journaled drives do not display in My Computer. If I open Disk Management, I can see them there but it says those partitions are empty. I know they are not, because I can reboot and boot from them both. I want to see them in My Computer.
Is there a way to modify the filesystems of the two OS X drives, where my copy of Rosetta Stone lies, and move it over to the Windows side of my partition, so I can install and use it? Drivers or other workarounds are welcome, as well as any suggestions. Thank you!

Try MacDrive or Paragon HFS (the demo is fully functional) they support read/write.
But having your partition setup is not ''by the book' and the hidden partitions seems to be one of the side effects.
Apple has an HFS read only feature or 'driver' but it is not as good and very limited so either of the 3rd party are preferrable anyway.

  • How can i view the items i copied in my time capsule and back it to my mac.

Hi everybody, sorry for my bad english, i´m from Mexico City, i bought the time capsule only for used it like a backup, i made all the steps through time machine and all seems very well, but i don't know how can i view the items i copied and back it to my mac.
    Please Help Me.

I assumed that you are using Time Machine to make backups to your new Time Capsule (TC) ... correct? If so, then you would normally use the Time Machine interface to locate files that have been already backed up.
For example, let's say that you had a document in your \Documents folder. For some reason you deleted this file, and then, decided that you still needed it. The "normal" process to retrieve it would be to open the \Documents folder in a Finder window on your Desktop ... then open the Time Machine interface. Once opened, you will be presented with not only that folder, but as many versions of that folder as the number of times Time Machine backed it up. Using the forward/backwards (in time) arrows, you would move to a folder that has the recently deleted file. From there you can easily retrieve the file.
For more information on how to use Time Machine, either use the built-in help or check out this Apple Support article.

  • How can i share documents with different users on the same mac?

How can i share documents with different users on the same mac?

Shared how? The other users can read the documents or you all can read and write the documents?
The first is easy just place the documents in /Users/Shared anyone can access the files there and the other users will be able to read them.
The second is a bit trickier.

  • How can I view an AI file created on a MAC on a PC without corrupting the fonts?

How can I view an AI file created on a MAC on a PC without corrupting the original fonts?  An AI file was created with an image and text on a MAC.  When the AI file was opened on a PC, the text fonts were not the same as originally created.  Also, the same AI file was saved to PDF on the MAC.  When the AI file was opened on a PC, there wasn't anything visible.  Anyone have any ideas?

Are you using the save version of Illustrator on both Mac and PC? If so, and you have the same fonts installed on both machines you should be able to open it without any problems. You may need to tell it which fonts to assign, they are not always named the same. If you don't need to edit the text, you could convert the text to outline and eliminate the need for fonts.

  • Can I view my Pages document like an e-Magazine?

    Hi Everyone,
    Does Pages have this function?
If I create a document or import full screen images into Pages and view it like an e-Magazine on my iPad.
For example, after the picture has been imported, viewing it like a single page when I hold my iPad in a portrait position is fine but say when I am down to pages 14 & 15 can I view it like a double page spread when I turn my iPad on its landscape position.
    Can this be done?
One more thing, does Pages have a function that simulate a "flipping page" effect?
    Thank you for your help!
    mal

No if its an original .pages document. If it was exported as word .doc files or pdf then you might be able to open it with other apps like Documents to go...
    Hope this help you.
