Can't view my iweb 08 page

Hi Everyone...
I have created a single front page for my website using iWeb 08. I've followed a cPanel tutorial on uploading iWeb08 files to my host server. Once created it was saved to a folder in the Sites folder. I uploaded via FTP using Cyberduck. The files appeared for a short time on the internet but 3 of the links weren't activated. I fixed this up and saved the file. Republished the files uploaded into the public_html but when I checked the URL it now shows the following message:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /sdreams/index.html on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
A search on the internet found this:

Directory listings are disabled on our servers as a precautionary security measure. Place an index file (index.htm, index.html, index.php, etc) in the directory and refresh the page. The page (index file) should now display as expected.
If you would like to enable directory listings for a particular directory, create a file called .htaccess, and place the following contents inside:
Options Indexes
(or Options +Indexes)
Upload the .htaccess file to the directory for which you need directory listings enabled.
I have tried uploading the files using cPanel's webdisk and also Easy iWeb Publisher - they all work, upload the files correctly but nothing happens after that. Most of the site will be run via the e-commerce but I wanted this one single page as a welcome.
I contacted my host support and they got back to me with a "You should find this issue resolved shortly".... but still 3 days later the same message appears.
ps: I noticed that file size of the index.html outside of my s/dreams folder is different than the index.html file inside the folder. Is that what could be causing the problem?
Which index.html is uploaded - the one inside your created site or the one that sits outside?
If I haven't explained it correctly or you need more information - please let me know. =)
My OS - Mac OSx SnowLeopard
Firewall - I've turned that off to see if that worked but nothing
Cache -I've emptied that also
OSx FileSharing (FTP access) - default is OFF - should I turn it ON. Though, I haven't had any other problems uploading via any 3rd party FTP's.

I was able to resolve this issue... iweb 08 was working perfectly... it was a hosting issue. They have finally fixed it up... all looks good.

I've closed the store to most of the links at the moment because i've got one more little thing to resolve within the actual e-commerce software but at least the front page is up and not full of errors!!!
