Can't view photos on detail page
I imported some photos into iPhoto from an album a relative of mine had on Walgreen's.com, created a Photopage for them but double clicking results in seeing the captions I created but not the photos.
Having learned a little, I checked their profile, which is RGB.
How can I fix this ?
I do not have a GoPro but some camera cards do not show up on the desktop, but you can usually see the pictures by using software that came with your Mac, like Image Capture or iPhoto.
If putting the card in the SD slot does not work, try plugging the camera in with its USB cable.
If there was any software that came with the GoPro, try viewing the card with that software in case they format the card in a special way. I hear that GoPro video is sort of its own thing, for instance, so that it needs to be transcoded before use in some video editors, but again I don't own one.

I have a real problem.
I created pages on iWeb 8 for clients to view images and some of the people can't see anything other than the page itself without photos. So far 2 out of 4 people are having this problem.

I'm wondering if some of the content impinges somehow on the functionality of the template. I guess your pluto and nebula images didn't get uploaded for some reason. The slideshow is missing the thumbnail photos as well.

How can I view photos I downloaded 2-3 years ago and which suddenly seem to have disappeared. Only photos taken within the past 12 months are visible.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto. Version 8.1.2
- What version of the Operating System. OSX 10.9.4
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
When I open iPhoto, only the most recent photos are shown (last 12 months)
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages? This has been going on for several weeks now. There are no error messages, but yes, I had an update in the system (QuarkXPress 10.1), and the problem has occurred from that day.
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue. I tried to find out where the problem came from, but found no solution.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto? No
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

i can't view photo's on tv(samsung). I connected the mini diplay port adapter to hdmi # 4 on tv and only thing i get is system preference display

You can use automator to rename your files, BEFORE you import them into iPhoto. Doing so while they are already imported into iPhoto and iPhoto's database will cause iPhoto to lose the links between the thumbnails and the images.

As a muscian reading digital sheets on Reader, being able to veiw as many as 3 to 5 pages at a time would be more helpful. Also, if it was possible to view any number of pages at time such as pages 1 and 2, 2 and 3, 3 and 4, or 5,6,7,and 8 instead of just 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 etc. my experience would be even better. thanks.The only way I could make Reader show 4 pages was to

Can I view photos and movies from my external hard drive? I used Time Machine and a WD Passport for backup. Since my drive on my MacBook Pro is filling up I was planning to delete some of the movies and photos. I wanted to see if I could view them from the hard drive. Thanks

If you're loading photos to drop box why do you expect to see them in iPhoto?

Refresh problem by combination of programmatic view and master-detail page
I am using the latest versions of both ADF (10.1.3.2.0.4066) and JHeadstart (10.1.3.1.26) and I have an application with 1 page in which I have as root page a programmatic view (table-form) which I fill with request parameters.
Under that programmatic view I have a master (table) with 3 detail pages (table).
The programmatic view is populated with always 1 row, which goes always correct.
The problem is occuring when iterating through the first entity based master table which contains lots of rows. Then the problem is that when you navigate through the master table the detail pages are refreshed correctly, but when you navigate back to the first row that row won't get updated.
The next thing I tried is create a new jheadstart application with only the master-detail pages (entity based), so without the programmatic view, and then the iterating through the master table and the refresh of the child tables is working correct.
What can be the problem here.Have you tested this in the ADF Business Components Browser? That's the tester that you can find by right-clicking your ADF BC Application Module and choosing Test. If you go to the View Object instance for the programmatic view, and using the ViewLinks to its children, do you get the same behavior as in the JHeadstart application?

Can't view photos in Adobe Bridge
Hi Everyone,
I just upgraded to a desktop, Dell Inspiron 3000 Series with Windows 7. I uploaded my Photoshop CS6 onto my new computer, but I cant view my photos on Bridge. No thumbnail previews, just the name of the photo.CR2. I can however view my Tiff files
Any idea how I can fix this? Would greatly appreciate the help, need to be able to see my photos soon!

MariaSo, you can't see your RAW files. That probably means you have not applied any updates after installing CS6.
You have to update BOTH Photoshop and the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in. That should work through the Help menu in Photoshop: Help > Updates -
Can't view photos in iphoto but I still can in Preview
Recently I changed some of the folder names of my photos in the iphoto library, but now when I want to view them in iphoto they are blank. I can still view them through Preview mode if I go through Finder, but that's a hassle. Also, the photos that I didn't change the folder name I can still view in iPhoto. I use iPhoto 5.
What should I do in order to get things back to normal and be able to view my photos in iphoto??i Brian

2 - You should NEVER modify the iPhoto library (or any other database structure for that matter) - you should ONLY use iPhoto to change things. At this time your two choices are to put things back exactly like they were or recreate your library which will lose your edits, albums, etc

I had a PS3 and could view all my files on my macbook pro.. bought apple tv - thinking it was superior... but I can't seem to access my photos in iphoto when using my apple tv... ??? Is it not possible to view photos from my macbook pro while using my apple tv???
One edit to the location in iTunes -- as of today and iTunes 11.0.2, you need to go to:
iTunes | File | Home Sharing | Choose photos to share ....
and select the appropriate folder, then click the "Apply" button. -

If you are trying to view your photo stream from your browser you will not see any photos from there. If your using a PCM then you can install the icloud tool bar and under "my computer" you can see your shared photos

Can't view photos or stream videos from websites on iPad 3
When I go to a website with safari, I can't stream video or view photo galleries. It tells me that I need adobo flash player. That is not supported for this device. How do I see photoographs or stream video from websites??

When I say "more modern", from what I've read many sites recognise that Flash can be a problem on mobile devices (phones and tablets) because it's very power hungry. So, if I understand things correctly, many sites are putting up html5 versions, which is supposed to be much easier on computers / devices. Quite oftne when I go to a site on my iPad it auto-diverts to the "mobile" version of the site, and I haven't found a single case where I can't see a video. To be truthful, even if not directed to a mobile version, I don't have much trouble with any of the sites I visit..... I can see most videos and pretty much all graphics, the same as I can on my Mac, which does run Flash.
Still, I'm sure a computing expert will know much more.
