Can't watch videos online... Do I need some flash player?

There is no flash player for the iPad, it's not supported.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store.

  • Can't watch video and play games that require flash player

I'm using windows7 family premium version
internet explorer 10 last version 10.0.5
    exploitation system 64 bytes
flash player verson 11..700.202 the latest one
So as i say can't watch video and play games that require flash player, they keep asking me to install flashplayer... i did everything i read in the forums, unistall it, clean the memory, reinstall it, disabe active x etc... but still have the problem.
More specific about my problem is that: let's say that i'm trying to look at you tutorial video under thi forum  Re: How do I fix Windows permission problems with Flash Player? i'm just seeing a black screen.  So I'm able to guess where is the play button so when i push on that place, i can hear the sound of that video.  Second step guessing where is the  enlarge  button, and when the screen is enlarged, magic i can see and hear the video.... So you figure that it's impossible to use my computer like that and guess right all the time, so....
Second fact, it seems that bug happened after an update (windows or explorer) and i even talk with a microsott tech who was not able to resolve it... But if i'm  undoning  the update and go back to a prior image, i have no problems with flash player anymore... it' been moths that i'm delaying my updates cause i cannot find any solutions.... So Please please please, help me .... don't know what's the problem is and i'm not a pro, don't know what to do.  (Excuse my english it's my second language)
    Thank you

The first thing I'd try is updating your video driver.
Windows: how do I update the device driver for my video/display adapter?
If you still have problems and since you're using Windows 7 x64, please check to see if you have the following Windows update installed:
    KB2670838 – Platform Update for Windows 7 x64
If so, please uninstall it and try Flash Player out again.

  • How can i watch videos in which they used adobe flash player?

just want to know how to play adobe flash player videos in my ipad 2? thank you....

Flash is not supported on the iPad and probably never will be, especially as Adobe have recently announced that they are stopping development on all mobile versions of flash player.

  • Why my notebook sometimes blacks out, in Windows 7, when I watch video online or just browse some web pages which contains quite a lot pictures?

Why my notebook sometimes blacks out, in windows 7,  when I watch video online or just browse some web pages which contains quite a lot pictures?
    1. I am not sure whether it is the problem of the graphic hardware, relevant softwares or the system itself.
    2. I am not sure whether browsing a webpage with a lot pictures would make the graphic hardware, or other hardwares if possible,  massively burdened and then just crash.
    3. Or if possible, is the reason that the heat dissipation doesn't work well?
I am looking forward to any replies that might be helpful. Really appreciated.

it could be heat, not enough RAM, but you don't tell us enough.
There is no reason to assume this is anything other than running Windows natively btw.
Browser  of course matters probably the most.
I like IE10 now, but use to use FF until recently. I'd like Chrome except for a few concerns I have over using it, it can eat up a lot of RAM and it builds up HUGE disk cache if you don't clear history and cache on exit and run CCleaner regularly ( good for all browsers )
So assuming 64-bit and 4GB or more and core i5 or better...
Also make sure Wiindow has 10GB of free space or more.
Biggest concern is what happens afterwards and whether you have run a check of your hard drive (chkdsk on startup) or if the problem cascades and gets progressively worse on top of the first - like do you have to do hard restart or able to bring up Task Mgr and kill or better yet, Resource Mgr and see if you have any thread locks.
Safari is not well versed in multithreading and handling what you want to do and are doing. IE9 isi usually good but I found it could not handle a lot of tumblr photo streams and sites. Try Chrome. With Firefox, use noscript, blashblock and see how it goes.

  • To see videos on facebook I need Adobe Flash Player.

I ever get error message from facebook asking to install Adobe Flash Player to view videos ! To see videos on facebook I need Adobe Flash Player.

No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.
Here is Steve Jobs official comment on his momentous decision to omit Flash from iDevices: Steve Jobs on Flash.
Here is Adobe's later announcement to cease development of Flash for mobile devices: Adobe on Mobile Flash. Adobe is not providing Flash for Apple iOS devices, and they no longer provide Flash for any other cellular phones. Flash is officially gone.
Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.
A sample of Apps that can display some Flash content:
      1. Puffin
      2. SkyFire
      3. Photon Flash
      4. Browse2Go
      5. Swifter
Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."

  • I can't watch video online

I used to watch video online, I am using internet explorer, but now I can't watch anymore videos online and it keeps poping a message says that " I need to install Adobe flash player " . I installed it several time but I am still having the same problem.
Please, can someone help me to fix it

This is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released their latest "untested" browser. The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.
    Firefox (from Mozilla)
    Opera (from Opera)
    Safari (from Apple)
    Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

  • How can I view videos from a website that uses flash player?

Hi All...having an issue finding an application to use  to view videos on another website that uses flash player. I have Flip for Mac, but this doesn't solve the problem. Without this(Adobe) app, the videos will not run, rendering use of the website usless. Finding more and more issues in trying to use these video tutorials on my iMac/Maverick. • Can't watch videos it says I need to download Adobe, when I attempt it says I may need to turn off my antivirus.  How can I do this?

For the last few days I have not been allowed to watch anything that may have a video.  It says I need an update version of Adobe and that I may need to turn off my antivirus.  Not sure how to do this.

Download the latest adobe flash player plugin only from the adobe download site.  When you install it it installs its plugin and a Flash Player system preference.  That Flash Player system preference has an option (Advanced tab) to auto check for updates.  If enabled it will put up a dialog telling you a new update is available when adobe relaases it.  I never have that enabled so I don't know how the dialog is worded and that it actually says anything about turning off any AV stuff.
Do you even have any AV software running?
You can always just download it again and reinstall to make sure you have the latest version.

  • Can't WATCH videos ONLINE.why?

i cant watch online videos in my NOKIA 6303 classic.. any help?

You can't use Firefox, because your operating system, OS X, is a version 10.4 or earlier.
Firefox "upgraded" its Mac compatible version, so that it will only operate with OS 10.6 or later.
Your Safari also might quit, because it too has an upgraded version with greater stability geared toward 10.4 and later.  Perhaps you are using system 10.3 or earlier.
It is also possible that Safari quits, because the video sites you watch have changed to be compatible with newer browser versions with later Flash Player compatibility, like Adobe.
It is difficult to find browser compatibility or stability for earlier than 10.4.
What the above post is showing is in the drop down menu in the upper left of your screen.  Click on the blue Apple for its drop down menu. Click on the first in the list, About This Mac. That's where you'll see the version as shown in the previous post.
If you upgraded your Safari, even that could be a problem, because it might not work as well with your older operating system.  I haven't tried the following link, but it offers the Safari versions that fit each system. You can try downloading the one that matches yours.  If that doesn't work, you can always upgrade again.

  • Can't Watch Videos Online

    Hi,
how are you supposed to watch videos on the lumia 920?
Every website i go on, is unable to play the video, because of lack of flash.
I cant even watch YouTube anymore. I just get sent to the app store, where obviously there are no apps, as no one makes apps for wp8.
this smartphone isn't acting very smart at all.
It was too much to expect all websites to use html5 seeing how a only a very small handful are using it.
why cant the previous version be added included so videos can actually be watched. especially seeing how it will be years before every website upgrades to html5.

The fact Windows Phone does not support Flash is well documented and a little research would have given you this information before you bought your phone. If Flash is so vital to you you obviously bought the wrong phone.
That said, as this is a strategic design choice at the core of Windows phone and IE10 I suggest you direct your questions at Microsoft who made this choice. The members of this user to user support forum are not able to change anything about this and neither is Nokia.
Click on the blue Star Icon below if my advice has helped you or press the 'Accept As Solution' link if I solved your problem..

  • When trying to watch video online, I keep getting "The Real Player(tm) G2 Live Connect-Enabled C32-bit plugin has crashed

I can see the video, but get no sound.

I filed a bug report at Bugzilla at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ . The bug number is 667399. It turns out that this bug was reported earlier in June of 2010 as 572801. Then Firefox 4 would have been in use. My report shows the same bug also is active in Firefox 5. Several confirmed the original bug and suggested why it happened. However apparently nothing was done during the Firefox 4 era. Could it be that difficult to correct the problem? Several other current browsers, even including IE9, do not have this problem. Someone needs to twist the tail of that Firefox to get it to correct the bug :-). Or perhaps Firefox 6 should be a special update just to correct unresolved bugs.

  • Can't watch videos or see apps that use flash, or silverlight

I just got this iPod Touch today, why can't i watch or see anything that uses flash, or silverlight
Is there anyway to watch or see flash, and silverlight using iPod Touch?
    Thanks!

Because no iDevices support Flash or Silverlight,  There is the SkyFire browser that displays/converts Flash on a special site.  For more info on Flash look at the previous posts on the right under the hading "More Like This"  Also see:

  • Watching video online

I haven't been able to watch video online. I downloaded Windows Media Player 9 for Mac but I still get an error message that says:
The page “MTV.com: Media Player” has content of MIME type “audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed.
What can I download to make it work?

It sounds to me that you need real player for mac. going off the plugin command.
if you go into amazon and try to play a playable song you will get this same message. this will prove this factor as amazon will only play using real player.
download realplayer of osx (a sod to find) and then all problems solved
