Can't watch videos or YouTube videos via safari

For some reason it won't show videos form YouTube and other site with QuickTime videos. When I touch on the video it takes to this page with alot of letters and numbers and I hate it. Can someone help me?

YouTube via Safari is Flash, and the iPhone doesn't support Flash (thus the YouTube app, which accesses content recoded as h.264). But QT videos should play - be sure Settings > Safari > Plug Ins is ON.

How can one go about installing plug-ins for Firefox 2.0 and Safari?
I installed RealPlayer 10 and during the installation it would install the appropriate plug-ins into my browsers...

The RealPlayer plugin should be in this location:
Hard drive -> Library -> Internet Plug-ins
This location affects all users installed on the system.
I think RealPlayer has to be launched once to install the plugins also, so if you haven't done that give that a go.
For Windows Media streams, make sure you install the Flip4Mac plugin too.

In what way won't it work? Just to check - you downloaded the Adobe Flash dmg file from Adobe? Did you then run it by double-clicking on the installer dmg?
If so, and it's definitely not working, you could try again by first running the Adobe Flash Player Install Manager in the Utilities folder to completely remove all traces of Flash and then start over.
Then restart Safari. Mine worked!

I can't watch videos on Youtube in HD ever since that mess with HTML5 last month.

So in February there was a brief stint where Youtube decided to force everyone to watch videos only with the HTML5 player, which forced many Firefox users to watch videos with only 360p and 720p as resolution options, and even at 720p the video was blurry and playback was choppy. I tried using a couple different add-ons people made to force Youtube to use Flash Player again, but the video quality was even worse than on the HTML5 player so I removed them. And now, even after Youtube allowed Flash Player to be used again, ever since that mess happened it's affected the videos I watch. Now I can't watch videos in any real high definition, because on any resolution option the videos become "fuzzy." The edges of people, text, and objects are pixelated and either blurry or jagged and not crisp and sharp as they should be. I also have problems with "rippling," where it seems as if thin, vertical lines are moving on the screen and subtly distorting the video. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Player, Firefox is on the current version, and everything else on my system that I know of is up to date. I have also tried watching videos in safe mode. Nothing changes. I can't get the videos to look normal again. For almost the past month I've had to start using Chrome specifically just for Youtube because nothing I do will get it to work properly again on Firefox.

Can only watch videos from YouTube, but not from other websites.

I can only watch videos from youtube, but certain websites such as dailymotion.com , videos.sapo.pt, etc, the flash video does not load up. I´ve tried updating my video drivers, installing older versions of Adobe flash, but nothing has worked so far. Has anyone has this problem? IShould I be messing with the flash global settings?

Hi, You may want to check the system requirements for the other sites. If you can watch videos on Youtube, then you must have Flash Player Installed properly.
Sometimes certain websites don't support or are late in supporting the latest version of Flash Player (10.1.102.64), so you might want to contact the websites on that.
You can use this link for setting and see if that makes a difference. Normally you would get a popup from the website to ask for this, but that would depend on how you have the Global Settings Panels set up.

It seems that the installation is complete,but it is not working,i still can't watch videos @ youtub

Try the following
download the FP uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html (save to disk);
download the FP installer(s)
for Internet Explorer http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe (save to disk);
for all other browsers http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe (save to disk);
now close all browser windows and run the downloaded uninstaller;
reboot Windows;
go to C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash and delete any files left in there;
now run the downloaded installer(s).
Can you see the Flash animation at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ ?

Why can't I watch videos via wifi ?

Hi apple, I can't watch video unless I use 3g service of mobile, there is no problem in viewing pages or downloading but i couldn't open video by wifi anywhere.

Updated Flash, now can't watch videos or listen to music

Just had to update Flash to version 16.0.0.235 and now I can't watch videos on YouTube, Huffington Post or Packers.com, and I can't listen to music on AccuRadio or Radio Margaritaville, both of which require Flash.
I've tried everything - emptying the cache, deleting the folders, uninstalling (Which, oddly, enabled me to watch YouTube videos) and reinstalling, even checking the add-ons and making sure it's active. Everything that checks for Flash tells me it's not installed, and the animation on Adobe's page that's supposed to show me moving clouds doesn't even show up. (I turned off AdBlock for this site; still nothing.)
What else can be done?
I'm using Mozilla Firefox version 34 on Windows XP.

I upgraded to Lion and can't watch videos and track pad is not working what can i do?

I recently adquired my Iphone and wanted to sync all my information with my Ipad, Iphone & Mack Book Pro, but I had an older vertion in my Mack Book Pro wich I adquired on 2011, in order to sync with I clowd I needed to upgrade to Lion, I did that and now I cant use my track pad and I can not watch videos in any page like Youtube etc.
What happened? What Can I do to solve this?

Backup your user files off the machine
Use a wired mouse and hold commnad r keys and reboot, reinstall Lion again
Once you got your trackpad back, then install Flash here

Can I watch video through my iPhone and TV at the same time while using the Apple composite video cables? I am planning a trip in my car and would like to play videos for my kids through their video screen while my wife watches on the iphone from the passenger seat. I didn't want to spend $50 to find out it doesn't work.

It doesn't work that way, sorry. When video out is being utilized, only the movie artwork (the cover or image) is displayed, and the actual movie is not displayed on the iPhone's screen.
