Can't we monitor IDOC in SXMB_MONI ??

Hi All,
Can't we monitor in SXMB_MONI if the  IDOC is Posted From R/3 to XI  ???
What Could be the Reason
Regards
Vamsi

Hi Vamsi,
The IDOC will be in SXMB_Moni only when it is sucessfully posted to XI system.
So we monitor whether the IDOC have reached the XI by the Tcode IDX5.
If in case it as failed, it may got failed in R3 system in SM58.

    Hi lnaki vila
    I'm using pi 7.0 version

in sender side i'm not using any communication channel and adapter engine i'm just using http client tool for testing purpose
i'm getting the response that's fine because its a synchronous communication
i checked sxmb_adm in that -->integration configuration LOGGING parameter of category RUNTIME is set to  ENGINE_TYPE and current value is HUB(Integration server)

  • IP Job in BW finished, but how can I check the IDoc receive status in BW ?

    Hi,experts
After I execute a Infopackage with loading more than 200000 records data, the infopackage monitor show me yellow light, 186020 from 200000 records. this infomation still show me till now, seaval hours,it looks pause here.
And I check the request in the R/3, the Job has finished. as you know it means the R/3 push the IDoc already finished.
and how can I do now ? or how can I check the IDoc receive status in BW side?

    Hi,
I too had the same problem, i executed the following to solve the proble, may be this will help you:
    1) Go to T-code SM58 and select TRFC and press F6,
    2) For manual push of I-Docs, GO to T-COde BD87 select perticular idoc and see the status if it is not executed properly then do the manual push by pressing Execute option,
    Thanks,

  • Monitor IDOC in PI

    Hi Gurus.
I am quite new to PI and have to advice my company on how PI can be used to "better" monitor IDOC.
Scenario is one sap system is communicating to other sap system using IDOCs currently.
We have been told by SAP that using PI, we can get better monitoring capabilities than is currently available.
But after all my searching, I could only find 2 advantages that I can get:
    - One central place where we could monitor all errors - need not go into all sender/receiver system separately
    - Using PI, we could send acknowledgements back to sender system.
Are there any other benefits? I still dont think that PI monitoring could be used by the end-user. Still an administrator would be required for it, just like we have for ALE monitoring. Correct?
Lets say the receiver system is down. Can I configure PI in such a way that it "automatically" sends the IDOC to the receiving system "AFTER" the receiving system is up?
Are there any other advantages of using PI as a middleware in this scenario? Any monitoring capability which it has which can get a SURE thumbs-up from all parties - something which is not at all possible in ALE, but PI can provide??
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
if you have an existing IDoc to IDoc scenario where just one system is sending IDocs without mapping to another the benefits doesnt seem to large:
    - One system more to administrate and to monitor
    - One place more where a message can fail (more risc)
    - in case of receiver system down an IDoc message from PI would stuck in SM58 - this is the same behaviour for a SAP sender system
    - WE02 monitoring at sender and receiver system is anyway required
    - acknowledgements shoulnt be a challenge with or without PI
The advantages are more in bigger and more complexe environments:
    - One central place for integration knowledge
    - All traffic via one platform: centralized monitoring and alerting
    - Quick and easy change of mapping implementation
    - Implementation of more complexe business rules with BPM

  • False Monitoring Message in SXMB_MONI

    Dear All,
We are working on a simple File-XI-File scenario. The reciever communication channel is inactive and the file is not getting created at the required destination.
It is giving an error message in Adapter Monitoring but its showing a success message in SXMB_MONI.
I am really surprised seeing this.
I am using XI 3.0 with SP-15. Please tell me what might be the probllem in the scenario or in the server as i am getting a success message in SXMB_MONI.
    Warm Regards,
    N.Jain

    Hi,
    >>
when the receiver communication channel is inactive and the file has not got created at the target end then how it can show a success flag in SXMB_MONI?
It is showing success in sxmb_moni because in sxmb_moni ,you can monitor only the ABAP part of the pipeline. Whereas, if you goto message monitoring in RWB, you will find some error like "Waiting". also the adapter monitoring tracks the error as you see it
    >>If I am doing Content Conversion at the receiver file adapter with some wrong parameters, it is showing error in the Adapter Monitoring (Red Status of Comm Channel) wheras it is showing a success message in SXMB_MONI.
Again, the concept remains the same. Errors related to the CC are not of a concern to SXMB_moni. At sxmb_moni, it shows the status of the message processed only until the message has been taken from the Outbound Queue. hence, you see success message in sxmb_moni

  • How to monitor idoc in PI

    Hi Gurus,
how to monitor idoc and how many IDOC s come to in XI /PI ?
    Regards
    sreeni

    Hi Sreeni,
    How to monitor the idocs:
To monitor the idocs we have many transactions in R/3
we02: Gives the list of idocs based on your selection criteria
we05: Gives the list of idocs based on your selection criteria
BD87: List of idocs which are ready to be sent out of R3
SM58: If the idocs are sent out of R3 but still in the TRFC queue
    Coming to XI/PI:
You can check the idoc in trnsaction IDX5 which is the idoc mionitoring tool.
How to check the count of idocs in XI/PI:
The direction of the IDOCs which are sent out of R3 is always 1. Hence if you can go to transaction we02 and give the appropriate selection parameters and select direction as 1 you would get all the IDOCs sent out of R3 to respective receivers.
    Hope this helps.

  • Problem monitoring idoc for  some interface

    Hi all
I have implemented the "Business process Monitoring" to monitor 10 interfaces.
The communication is between SAP Pi and SAP ECC. SAP PI send idocs type acc_document  to SAP ECC. I would to monitor the status of inbound-idoc in SAP ECC System for all interface so I have created 10  Customize Monitoring Object in SAP ECC with transaction BDMO using for the filed
u201CMessage Typeu201D acc_document. The problem is that all interfaces use acc_document so if the idoc of interface 1 generate the error  this error is detect to all interface. So, how can I monitor those interfaces correctly?
    Thanks a lot for collaboration

    Hi Maurizio
Is it impossible to distinguish IDOC content by partner number ?
By the way, it seems you use old technique.  In latest BPMon, you can use application monitor for IDoc monitoring.
In more detail, please download the document of IFMon from following link.

  • How can I output multiple IDOC messages in one dataflow in DS 3.2?

Hi, we are trying to load some business partner data into CRM through an IDOC. The specific IDOC we are attempting to use is CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M02. We successfully created a Data Services flow which takes input from a file and can write out an IDOC message which updates the record in CRM. The problem is that we can only manage to run this job for one record at a time - if the file we are using for input contains 2 or more records (2 or more business partners which we are trying to update), then the batch job fails with the error message:
IDoc Error: Message:      Adding this segment exceeds maximum allowed number of repetition E101CRMXIF_PARTNER_KEYS
I'm guessing from this error message that it is trying to shove both business partner records into one IDOC which is not supported by this IDOC. Instead what we want it to do is send 2 IDOC messages to the server, one per business partner.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can make this work?
    Thanks
    -Trevor

I am trying to update the ABCIndicator from 2 to 3 and hence have set the Flag to X in the source table as well. I have updated the EDI_DC40 mandatory schema with the necessary values and mapped the values to the schemas in the IDOC
E1FUNC_LOC_CHANGE - from the source table
    and sub schemas
E1BP_ITOB - some from the source table and other values to NULL
E1BP_ITOBX - FLAG X to the ABC Indicator from Source table and all others to NULL
    E1BP_ITOB_FL_ONLY - NULL for Everything
    E1BP_ITOB_FL_ONLYX - NUll for everything
I have tried to play around the FROM cluase in the query as well as UNnesting...all of them failed to resolve the issue...Can you please suggest me where I am going Wrong..
    Thanks

  • Can we stop incoming IDOC in XI

In a particular XI scenario, IDOC is coming from a R/3, but due to some performance reason, we need to stop those IDOCs entering into XI,
i am not supposed to change the Configuration, or Design in Integration builder (due to some reason),
also, we cannot stop those IDOC from R/3 (due to some reason),
How can we stop these IDOCs flowing into XI,
is there any facility in IDOC adapter to filter those particular IDOCs,
    pls advice

    Dear Sudeep,
I'm not sure what exactly is your performance issue.
If you dont want specific IDocs send to XI from R3 you should remove it
    from the Destribution model (BD64)
and\or from the partner profile (WE20).
best of all is to remove the action from the customization that initiats calls for th ALE output type.
consul your SAP R3 uisness pepole or your ALE specialist.

How can we  varify that Idoc is sent to the XI or not

    Hi
In XI go to transaction IDX5 you will find an entry for the Idoc.
IDX5 maintains the list of all the inbound and outbound IDoc's.
