  • How to dynamically form the base URL for a region?

For Application Express 2.2.1, I've created a URL region for a static html page:
    e.g.
    http://xxxx-dev.website.com/html/page1.html
The problem is that when I promote this application to production (using export/import), this URL still refers to the development website.
I need Application Express to use the base URL of its current URL path rather than http://xxxx-dev.website.com
    Can this be done?
    Thanks

    Hello,
If you omit the http:// part from your static URL, the APEX engine will automatically attached the local server prefix to it.

  • Hi Experts, can the secondary windows be processed after the main window?

    Hi Experts,
at the end of the main window there is a command node and can the secondary windows be processed after the main window? thanks for your reply.
    Kind regards
    Dawson

    Hello Dawson
No it can't Process the secondary window if you are calling a new Page in that command line.
Even if it gets called I don't think it will give the desired output.
Give it a try, But I am sure its not going to give you the desired output instead attach the command line to the end of your secondary window and in condition tab of secondary window check the check box "Only after Main window".
    Hope this discussion was helpful.
    Cheers,

  • Files on the base URL

How can I explore / search for files on a Applets base URL. Is there a simple way to do this without using servlets or some kind of java security programing ?

You need to give more info. Are you trying to look on
your machine, some web server in your company, or the
internet in general? The applet will be running on a WEB-server on a intranet or on internet.
The idea is that the applet will display information from a selection of text-files, the text-files will also be stored on the same server as the applet.
The number and the names of the text-files will be chaning but the storage location will be the same, ex a directory on the same area as the applet itself.
What i need to do is to find out which files are stored in the directory, display this in the applet in order for the user to chose the file of interest.

  • Can the Icon be disposed safely after a call to Imaging.CreateBitmapSourceFromHIcon?

    Hi all,
for a Grid that shows file paths and the associated file icon for a set of given files we extract the Icon of those files and create ImageSource instances for later use.
    Roughly:
    FileIcons aIcon = new FileIcons(filePath);
    System.Drawing.Icon i = aIcon.GetSmallIconWithTypeName(isFolder, out typeName);
    ImageSource imgSource = Imaging.CreateBitmapSourceFromHIcon(i.Handle, Int32Rect.Empty, BitmapSizeOptions.FromEmptyOptions());
Irrelevant but just for info: The FileIcons class uses SHGetFileInfo and ExtractIconEx of the Shell32.dll to get the Icon.
The interesting part is: After the call to
    Imaging.CreateBitmapSourceFromHIcon(...)
Can I safely dispose the Icon the ImageSource was created from AND keep using the ImageSource afterwards?
    Thanks for the help,

  • Where can the log file be found after printing to the PDF printer?

Cannot locate the log file after printing to the Adobe PDF printer.  The box was unchecked for delete log file after successful print.  Running Adobe Acrobat X Standard (v10.0.0) on a windows 2008 R2 server.

There is usually no log file when the conversion succeeds. Only in certain cases are their warning or information messages, usually of little interest.

  • Can the RV180W have multiple SSIDs with different security configurations?

I am trying to configure the RV180W with a guest network and regular wireless network. The regular wireless network is just a bridge to the wired network, using WPA2-Pers for authentication. I built and enabled another wireless SSID, using a different VLAN and no authentication. I can get both SSIDs to function at the same time if I turn off security. Once I turn on Security, the regular one no longer functions.

It is actually all in the manual:
    SEE: PDF MANUAL
Page 63 of PDF and onwards
Do note that you need to assign multiple VLAN per SSID. Check the manual it is there :D
and based on the manual you need to enable multiple VLAN support: See page 34 of the manual: Configuring Virtual LAN (VLAN) Membership

  • Can the people recognition function in PSE 9 be configured to look for a specific person?

    HI All:
I have over 100k photos in my library.  I'd like to have PSE 9 search through these images and identify only my family members.  For instance, I would like PSE 9 to serach for images of only my daughter and provide a tag for each image that contains her picture.  With this many photos it just takes too long to use the people recognition function because I must go through every person (face) that it identifies rather than just my daughter's.  So, is there a way in PSE 9 to restrict the photo recognition feature to search for only one person/face?
    Thanks, Jeff

I have the same need. We have numerous app vendors that change their certificate that I need to deploy to 2500 PC's. We were using the registry via MS JVM to import these certificates. That is no longer an option with 2003 Server and Vista not supporting MS JVM. I have tried the Keytool as a login script process but it keeps asking for a password. Doubt we would ever be able to locate anyone who would know what it was. So far I have found the system deployment setup but am having problems actually getting it to work. Here is what I have so far for the deployment.config:
    deployment.system.config=file\:/M\:/Winstall/Utils/Javacert/deployment.properties
    deployment.system.config.mandatory=false
    The deployment.properties has:
    deployment.system.security.trusted.certs=file\:/M\:/Winstall/Utils/Javacert/Trusted.certs
The Trusted.certs file ahs all the certificates we support from a network application point of view. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Can the new feature, "New Guides from Shape" be configured to get the baseline?

I love the new Guide Features, long overdue. This could exist otherwise I'll put in a Feature Request.
New Guides From Shape on text is auto-locating the outer bounds, so the descender line at the bottom:
I'd like it to instead use the more appropriate Baseline:
Is this already possible? One of the first things I did was Shortcut the feature since this is something I do so often manually --- it would be great if it could do Baseline though either in addition to (holding shift or something) or in place of the descender line. That's what designers use to align text. Guides already snap to baseline so Adobe has the system in place already.

I that work-around would be less efficient than typing the actual copy, doing the New Guides from Shape, and then adjusting the bottom guide. Especially when working on a complicated piece that requires adding and clearing guidelines as you go to stay organized. It would be very problematic to filter out descenders every time you want to guideline a particular block of text.

  • After deployment got "404 Not Found".  How to find the correct URL?

    To the experienced:
In preparing to deploy my application, I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 to deploy the application to the standalone oc4j server that is included in JDeveloper. After the deployment, I get the "404 Not Found" error when trying to invoke the application in a browser. The deployment looks OK, becasue the log window in JDeveloper showed no error when running deployment from inside JDeveloper. Therefore I guess the question is how to find out the correct URL to invoke the application. The steps I took in doing the deployment are as follows.
I first installed the standalone oc4j by running the <jdev_home>\jdev\bin\start_oc4j .bat file. The installation is OK because I deployed the SRTutorial applcation and invoked it in a browser successfully.
The WAR file was created by right-clicking the ViewController project and select to create a WAR file. To the application's Context Root its own name, I typed "ZB" in the box for the context root.
Then in ViewController -> Resources, right_click the deployment file (ZBOV.deploy) and chose "Deploy to" the local_standalone_oc4j. The messages in JDeveloper's log window for the deployment are all clean without errors.
I then used this url to invoke the deployed application in a browser:
    http://localhost:8888/ZB/faces/staff/login.jspx
But I got an "404 Not Found" error. Right away I tried invoking the SRTutorial application, and it runs fine.
login.jspx is one of the pages for the appllication. In the application navigator, it is located with other files in the ViewController/Web Content/staff folder, therefore I used /staff/login.jspx after ZB/faces.
What could be wrong? If the deployment is actually successful, how to find out the correct url to invoke the application?
    Many thanks for your help!
    Newman

    Hi, Arun,
Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it but got the same error.
I tried it by first undeploying the application using the enterprise manager page (which is also part of the oc4j included in JDeveloper). I select the application and clicked the undeploy link, confirmed that I wanted to remove it. And it was removed.
Then in JDeveloper, I right-clicked the ViewController, and in the properties of the probject selected "J2EE Application" and then selected "Use Custom Settings", then in the "J2EE Web Context Root" box I entered "ZB". Created the deployment profile again, overwriting the existing one, and then right-clicked the ZB.deploy node to deploy to the standalone oc4j on the localhost. And I used the url:
    http://localhost:8888/ZB/faces/staff/login.jspx
And I got the same "404 Not Found" error.
There was no error at the time of deployment using the ZB.deploy profile. On the enterprise manager page, the path of the deployed application is given as /C:/jdev10134/j2ee/home/applications/ZB.ear, and the folder of the deployed application is there. Question is: if the deployment is actually OK, can the correct URL be found in some file somewhere in the folder?
All ideas and suggestions are very much appreciated!

  • I can't see a Base URL for shared Calendars with new Mobile Me iCal

    Hi,
I have a family .Mac membership and my events are being organised by a Windows user (with one of my other accounts) using the Mobile Me Web site. No other problems accept this.
With the previous iCal on my Mac when I shared a Calendar I was always shown the Base URL which anyone with a web browser could access. With the new iCal on Mobile Me is a simple URL still an option? If so how can I find it?
I don't wont subscribers to have to download a file or add the calendar, I just want them to click a URL and view the week's events, Read only, as with the previous iCal on my Mac.
The old URL system does not work for the new iCal on Mobile Me I tried it http://ical.me.com/username/Calendar
Any Tips will be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Athena

Do you have enabled auto-fill for the location bar?
You can check the pref browser.urlbar.autoFill on the <b>about:config</b> page.
You can also make the protocol visible.
You can set the pref <b>browser.urlbar.trimURLs</b> to <i>false</i> on the <b>about:config</b> page to see the http: protocol.
You can set the pref <b>browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled</b> to <i>false</i> on the <b>about:config</b> page to disable the highlighting of the domain and see the full URL more clearly.
*[https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=678352 bug 678352] - 'h' entered as first letter in location bar is overwritten with 'w' when browser.urlbar.autoFill is true

What is the term an the correct syntax, to fill in?

Ich versuche gerade krampfhaft, den iCal-Server bei uns zu etablieren!
Ich habe vorsichtshalber alle Standardeinstellung gelassen!

    Hello,
FYI -- "here", as in these forums (which are targeted at BB/RIM services rather than carrier services), would not be the best place to find out something specific for one carrier. With so many thousands of carriers with dozens of different plans each, it's pretty much impossible to keep track of the specifics. The generic information is this:
    http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/What_do_I_need_a_Data_Plan_for%3F
But, there certainly can be variations on that given the different packages carriers put together. I do suggest you do as JSanders recommended -- contact your carrier and find out what you've signed up for.
    Good luck!

  • Resolve Base URL

    Hi,
I'm working with java.net.URL to code a simple program that read a file and get the archive described in this file. Actualy, the file is an HTML document done by a third party, and the program just have to read this file and download all the other document referenced via an tag. The problem is any valid HTML should be accepted, so the anchor may contain a relative URL. I just can't figure out how to get the absolute URL.
I was first surprised that no method does this in the URL class, then I realized it's the server's job to do so. There are some thricky case, like this intern URL we realy have at the office :
    http://wiki/index.php/Accueil
The base URL is http://wiki/ and /Accueil is actually a parameter of index.php (I hate PHP).
I couldn't find the base URL in the HTTP header either. But the server has to give it somehow, or else my FireFox would not be able to render links or images on our wiki.
Is there anyway in Java to ask for the base URL of a specific document, or compute it ?

Is there anyway in Java to ask for the base URL of a specific document, or compute it ?If you have a document that you retrieved from a server, you must know what the URL of the document is. Preserve that URL after you retrieve its content, then when you parse the content and retrieve (possibly relative) URLs, use the first URL to provide a context in the new URL objects you create.

  • Custom SSO & base URL settings

    Hi All,
We are just implementing our Custom SSO product with 5.0.4 for windows. The basic implementation has gone very well but I do have a problem with rouge URLS.
During the install we used this as the base URL - http://portalv5dev.wiley.com:8080/etc
Our SSO set up is configured to http://devportal.wiley.com/etc
Great we can get in but of course most of the URL's are pointing to the old address. I have changed the server settings through the admin console and also amended, n_config.xml, j_config.xml and wsserver_config.xml. Whilst this change has not caused any problems the URL's still haven't been amended.
Has anyone had any success in changing this, if so could you shed some light. Many thanks, Adam
