A few weeks ago, i went to use my iPad and the screen was half black, half grey with a white line scrolling across it. Nothing was responding, even the power off button. I plugged it on to my pc and was able to sync it and I planned on taking it to the apple store to get a new one. However, the next day, the screen was perfectly fine and everything was working. I decided to wait and everything worked until a couple of weeks later when the same thing happened again only for a few hours. I took it to the apple store and the guy double clicked the home button and found about 40-50 apps in that "currently open" bar at the bottom. He said this was using up too much memory and that I needed to clear all apps on this bar every few days and this is what was making my screen go blank. Does this make any sense? I haven't had more problems in the last 3 weeks but I am wondering if he was correct or if something else is wrong and it will happen again.

You could certainly have had too many things open/running at the same time. It's a good idea to routinely close apps you aren't using. Particularly apps that can continue running in the background, such as Pandora or iPod.......

Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to purchase them. If you bought the apps with old username and password, you have to continue to use them to update the apps.
If you changed the username because you got a new email address, sign out of your old ID in Settings>iTunes and App Store. Tap the old ID and sign out then sign in with the new/changed ID.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

As per me you can't get detail by server side.
If you want to know who are connected then you can use sp_who2 procedure in SQL query.
That will display who are login.
For more detail you have to check LOG file on client side in SAP B1 > Log folder.

As Johnathan has written yes apps for iPhone will work in the iPad, however there is a '+' mark on the icon you touch or click for download which indicates both iPhone AND iPad apps. Those apps will display perfectly for the iPad.

Using the 5th generation iPod. Purchased it a few months ago before the new one was launched. Yes the workout randomly ends when I am no where near the time or distance I have programmed in. I appreciate your help, but I had already looked at LinkMaker and I thought that was my answer, but as far as I could tell that still only links to an app in the app store. Yes it will link to iTunes U in the app store and you can then hit Open, but that is too drawn out of a process. We would like to know a way to just open the app directly.

Display the Current Running Files in the Label Control

I have a label control in Windows Form Application, and i have the application to display the building and progress of the projects in the label control using C# code. Along with the update of the label, the progress bar should also show progress simultaneously,
according to the building of the project. How should i do this ??

What i need to do is when i click the button named as "Build" in the GUI it will display the selected projects to build from the CheckedListbox into the label control placed in the GUI.

Hello,
It depends on what your application is and how you build these files, if possible you could share them with us.
The most common way to display the progress, is to set the text for that label before or after we execute the line building these files.
You could place the lines setting the text or change the progressbar.value before or after the building lines.
Here is a simple sample using progressbar with a backgroundworker.

You should check with the software publisher. Although you will need a separate iPad version of the program, some publishers make the iPad version cheap or even free, knowing that you have to buy the Mac or PC version to get the most out of the iPad version.
