Can the Galaxy SIII have a white on black Settings/Setup Screen?

I was at the Verizon store yesterday comparing the Galaxy SIII to the new iPHone5. I need a white on black theme, like my iPhone4 has. The Galaxy had a white on black theme, except the Settings page. Could someone please verify that this is correct? I couldn't find a way to make the Settings or Setup page white on black.
I would appreciate anyone's input, the Galaxy would be my choice because of it's larger screen and feature's, but it's not having a white on black Settings page is a show-stopper for me.....

Thank you for replying! I guess I missed it when spending time with it, at the VZW Store. The bigger screen makes it my preference over the iphone5. Apple's only lengthening the new iphone by a half inch, just doesn't cut it.

A few months later the site has more content and decides to change the four sections on the Welcome page to four section pages with courses attached to it. The new pages would have new editors for them. Can the course pages originally located on the main welcome page be restricted to no viewers and smart tabs put in new courses connected to the new section tabs? The thought here is to avoid rebuilding the site as the architecture changes.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
* Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

White on Black Settings causes all pictures to look like negatives

Hi,
I was changing some settings on my iphone. When I changed the accessibility settings "white on black" --> On, the photos in my album started looking like negatives.. so did all the default wall papers.
When I switch back to the "white on black "-->Off , everything looks back normal.
*Settings -->General -->Accessibility "white on black" --> On*
Has anyone noticed this before?Any help appreciated.

The white on black setting can be toggled on and off to suit the situation, It should be used to alleviate strain on the eyes when reading lots of text, not to view pictures however. rather than only doing it for text it just makes everything negative. In Settings> general> accessibility you can change the function of the 'triple-click home' to white on black. that way you can change to white on black to view text by triple clicking the home button and then change back when viewing pictures. simple.

I have a background picture that i use for my iphone ( http://smileys-4-eva.deviantart.com/art/Free-texture-Paint-splatter-186579258 ) (this is the image.) and when i got to the accessibility in the general settigns and turn on White on Black the image changes and i really like what it looks like and i want to save this image so i can set it as my iphone background. i thought of taking a photo of the screen of my iphone but then when i turn white on black mode off the picture goes back to normal.
If anyone could change this picture for me or tell me how that ould be amazing.

LR5 - Can the PNG background color of white be changed?

I recently decided to use LR to catalog all my images (instead of Bridge). I love that PNG is now supported. Ran into one problem...all the snowflake and white frame images are viewed as a white rectangle due to the background white. I know Preview and other "viewers" don't have this issue. ACDSee has a setting to change the background. Can I do this in LR5? If not, is there a link where I can submit for a product enhancement to the Product Management team for a future release of LR?

I had seen that post before I came here...where Julianne suggested people come. Unfortunetly, neither watermark nor identity plate are what I need. I have thousands of PNG files, and while all are not "white images" on LRs assigned white background for PNG files enough are that I made the above request. From your answer, and Julianne Kost's it sounds as if the white background for the PNG cannot be changed as a preference - to view these PNG files in Library Mode.

Hold down the power button until the screen goes black.
Wait about ten seconds then restart your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys.
From there you should be able to access the built in utilities to verify and repair the startup disk if necessary and reinstall OS X. (10.10.1)

I already tried to get help for this question, posting it two times on JDBC discussions (title: how to be sure that a registration for a table is up to date and a row dosn't seem to be stored inside one table ), but then I couldn't solve the problem.
After then I did some tests about what the program works and now, having more information about the problem, I try again.
I have one class that implement one JPanel with one picture inside, and the user of the program can paste over this picture some other smaller pictures that before he copied from one "palette" ("palette", in short, is one array of smal pictures = metaphoras).
Consequently of that (paste) operation, the program registers over the database the informations that come from position point where the past operation happened, from the number of pic pasted etc.. etc... ... and using the informations are read from the database , the small pictures are definitively displayed over the big picture in the JPanel using these informations.
The display is realized by the function drawImage(image, xPoint , yPoint, dimX, dimY, null), method of Graphics2D class, and the function drawImage() is wrote inside the paintComponent(Graphics g) method of the class that implement JPanel.
The problem is : immediatly after the user does visually the registration (clicking of the mouse that end the past operation), the last row stored doesn't seem yet to be put on database, and so the last pic pasted it is not showed.
This behavior seem to be non undersandable and I did many test in order to discover what really happen... :
First: the same code if it is executed sequentially (and not in consequence of the past event and clicking the mouse) the registration happen always and perfetctly good...
Second: checking inside the code (with System.out.prinlln()) it seem that the new row is really registrated as well not read ... this is confirmed also with the use of one extern program to see the database, that show the row registered.
Third: I executed the program in debug mode and in this case the problem of "the lost last registration" never occurs....
Fourth: I executed the program normally (*non* in debug mode) and then the performance is not always the same ...: the most of the times the last registration it in not read, but few times (yes) it is. This depend by the way the mouse is clicked to give the focus to the JPanel (really they are are more than one JPanel to get the past operation...).
I can explain this strange behavior thinking that it is some thing that give instability to the performance, and this in my opinion can be connected only with the events that manage the past operation...
This is my opinion, but beyond this ipothesis I cannot immagine what can I could do to give a regular behavior to the program.....
Some one can give me one suggestion?

Yes, if you don't mind having separate e-mail accounts. For example, you can have a set of contacts associated with iCloud and another set with Yahoo. I suppose you could also have a set of contacts synced with your computer (e.g. Outlook) and another set associated with an e-mail account.
In any case, once you have multiple sets of contacts defined then you can choose to show all contacts, or just those associated with a particular account.
Just be aware that there is always a default account for new contacts (defined in Settings). When you create a new contact they will always be associated with the default account. If you want to enter a new contact but associate it with a different account than what your default account is, then you need to first change the default.
(Unlike having multiple calendars where you can change the account that an event is associated with at the time you create the event, there doesn't seem to be a similar ability to define the account for a new contact while you're creating it, only the global default contact account in Settings).

If, as you suggest, you have iOS 6.0.2 installed in your 3GS, you shouldn't have. That OS is only for the iPhone 5 and Mini iPad.
Try rebooting the router. Any other devices working happily on it are irrelevent.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

Restoring Data from old phone to S III and getting Yahoo E-Mail to work on the Galaxy S III

I wanted to share some information on how to do a few things on the Galaxy SIII. After spending approximately 6 hours on the phone and On-Line Chat with Verizon Wireless Tech Support they told me the following things could not be done. Well FOR THE RECORD they CAN BE DONE!!!!!
Here is how to Back-up and Restore your Text, Picture and Video messages from your old phone to your new phone:
BEFORE you DEACTIVATE the OLD PHONE:
Make sure you have an External SD card in your old phone that will work in your new phone
Go to the Play Store and install Verizon Messages
Open the Verizon Messages program and click on Back-UP – ALL Text, Picture and Video messages will be backed-up. IF YOU GET A “SAVE CANCELLED” MESSAGE:
                     You may have to Back-up LARGE messages (with picture & Video content) individually.
                    You may also have to backup conversation threads 1 at a time if there are a large number of texts in that thread:
     *****Hopefully Verizon will fix AND INCREASE the LOW AMOUNT OF DATA ALLOWED AT 1 TIME ON THIS APP SOON*****
Once you have everything Backed Up on the External SD Card Remove the SD Card from the old phone and install it in the new phone
NOW ACTIVATE YOUR NEW GALAXY S III:
When you are in the Set-Up Wizard:
           If you are using Yahoo E-Mail and want it to be accessible by clicking on the E-Mail Icon
               DO NOT click on the Yahoo Mail Icon during the E-Mail Account Set-up portion of the Set-Up Wizard!!!
         Instead click on the Other E-Mail Icon and enter your Yahoo E-Mail accounts there – this will assure that the Yahoo E-Mail accounts will
               sync and update as they should AND be accessible by just clicking on the E-Mail Icon on your screen.
To Restore your data from the Old Phone to the New Phone After the Set-Up Wizard is completed:
Make sure you have the External SD card from your old phone installed in your new phone
Go to the Play Store and install Verizon Messages
Open the Verizon Messages program and click on Restore – IF YOU SEE 2 SD CARDS LISTED (ON MINE IT LISTED ExtSDCard and SDCARD0) you will have to copy EVERYTHING from the ExtSDCard to the SDCard0. Next Click on Restore again and ALL Text,
Picture and Video messages will be restored to your New Phone.
I HOPE THIS SAVES YOU ALOT OF AGGRAVATION AND FRUSTRATION WITH YOUR NEW GALAZY S III

What type of mail account is it?
POP, IMAP, etc?
When you got your new phone did you put on a backup of your old phone?
If POP, well POP works by keeping track of what it has downloaded or not. So if it got info from your last phone when you synced your new one, then it knows it already downloaded them, thus won't download them again (just how POP works).
