Can the hyperlinks in a pdf be tracked for statistical purposes.

I have an online magazine which is published as a pdf file. I want to be able to track the advertisers hyperlinks. Checking with both Adobe.com and my hosting company I am lead to believe there is no way to track the click throughs of a pdf document. Is there a way to track these? If not, is there another adobe product which we could publish the magazine in to allow us to be able track the click throughs and forwards?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

That's a great feature request. I'd like the ability to turn off the blue boxes over hyperlinks as well.

No, the bluetooth profile in the iPad does not provide that
capacity. Can your netbook be a wifi transmitter? If yes,
you can connect to the internet via htc-phone and pass
the connection to the netbook which will connect via wifi
to iPad. I am not familiar with the hardware in netbooks nor
the capabilities of Windows, so what I am suggesting looks
good in theory but the reality may not allow it. Still worth
checking into.

It's "aspect ratio", not aspect "ration".
It's what determines whether you have square pixels ("normal") or, if rectangular pixels, what the aspect ratio (width : length) of that rectangle is.
It's explained in the Help files. I cannot go into more detail because you have neglected to provide information about your platform and exact version of Photoshop.

How to reduce the size of my pdf X3:2002 for online printing

Hello Adobe,
I have been creating a photobook (33 x 28 cm) with my photo editing software.
The problem is, that I've got a PDF X3 2002 with around 7 GB and the online printing office accepts only 2 GB.
What can I do, how can I reduce this large pdf in 2 GB? I'm working with Acrobat X Pro.

You are sending public messages, don't worry about that. It's working fine. Now, rather than trying to share screen shots and send PDFs, please focus on answering ALL of my questions. Thanks. - What is the EFFECTIVE resolution you are using for your images (not the original ppi, but adjusted for layout size)?
- How are you making up the pages?
- How do you make the PDF? -

i find the ipads maximum volume slightly to low for my personal use i dont use it in public so i dont intend disturbing others but i would like to know if the volume on the i pad can be increased slightly for my personal enjoyment as at the moment i find it hard to hear films and music and i have no wish to use earphones as they cause me irritation the max setting on the ipad is just not quite enough

May I suggest that you use a good pair of earbuds instead of earphones.
Apply a very thin layer of almond oil for the skin to the earbuds before you insert them into your ears.

The beta is unlikely to have any bugs that would affect a student type usage. The fact that
it's now in Beta would lead me to believe that the full release is not far away - after all,
it is the same codebase - they just take things out!
You can deploy, distribute and even sell your apps developed on XE.

Can the new numbers export PDF as more than one page?

I just upgraded to the new version of Numbers for OS X Mavericks and it seems I can not
see my document as different pages or even export a PDF as several pages.

Hi Alex,
It took me a while to get my head around the difference between Export to PDF (everything on one page) and Print, where we can 'Print to PDF'.
Do this:
Menu > File > Print...
You will see Print Preview. At the bottom of the panel on the right,
click on Print. It won't print yet, but will take you here:
Now we see Page 1 of 4 .
Click on PDF to go here:
Choose Save as PDF to a folder of your choice (mine is called Desktop Temp). In Finder, open that folder then double click on the PDF to open in Preview.
Then Print from Preview.
Phew.

Can the iphone display acrobat pdf files?

Am considering the purchase of an iphone, and am wondering whether I can store and view pdf files on this device? (I previously owned a windows based pocket pc/phone which had this ability, but was not very functional.)

1) No you can't sync PDFs (Yes I know, this really annoys me too) I can sync and view a 700mb movie but can't sync and view a 1mb PDF, go figure. The only way I have found to save a PDF is to make a folder in my .Mac account then place an email with a PDF attachment into this folder. Now when you open it in Mail you can only view it in Portrait View (Vertical). So trying to read a PDF is almost impossible unless you enlarge it to the point where half the page is off the screen. Yea this phone has PDF support, but the worst, most limited support imaginable.
2) Nope, you can't save PDFs from Safari (Or save anything else for that matter.)

Only to a degree. In PrE, one can display either Audio Tracks, or Video Tracks, or both, grouped as they are, with Video Tracks and Audio Tracks next to each other.
Personally, I like the PrPro layout better, as I nearly always work on Video first, and then Audio later on. However, many PrPro users beg for the PrE layout. I find it occupies a lot of real estate, and really like the separation much better.
I am going to Move this thread out to the main PrE Forum, so that others can comment, as they will likely not see it here.

How can I extend Adobe Viewer PDF plug-in for Browsers in order to extend saving or downloading propriety?

I need, from the viewing of pdf file from the browser, to save the pdf in a specific directory of the server automatically with a button and not downloading the file and than importing the file downloaded.
So for example I could change the propriety of the actual botton for saving the file or add another botton in order to giving pdf contents data to the server. How can I do that?
