Can the imagerunner 1025 multifunction printer use the scanner scanner function on a 64 bit pc?

I needed to restore our computer to factory settings and now I can't find a scanner driver for our Imagerunner 1025iF. I have a 64 bit PC running Windows 7. The install wizard only allows installation of the printer and fax. Searching the internet for the ScanGear driver only came up with 32 bit drivers which don't seem to work on this computer. There is nothing on the Canon website.

There is no ICA driver for this model so you won't be able to use Image Capture or Preview. But there is a TWAIN scanner driver and the supporting MP Navigator application available for 10.8 from Canon, so you could try installing these and see if you can scan again.

Does the bluetooth function work with the scanner function on my Photosmart C5550?

I have a new Dell computer and an HP Photosmart C5550. I use bluetooth to connect to the print. The printer function works correctly but the computer does not recognize the scanner function. Does the scanner function work with bluetooth?

Sorry. I hit post before I could elaborate. Not sure what I was thinking. The Bluetooth connection will only support printing. To use the scan feature you will need to connect the printer using a USB or network connection. Hope that explains it a bit better.

If it is, have you updated your firmware. Most printers that say they can be used with Airprint need to have their firmware upgraded before they can actually print using Airprint. HP's support pages provide the FW downloads you will need.

Can you access scan function of a multifunction printer using Bonjour/expre

I'm using a Canon Pixma 830. It prints fine through airport express. I've hooked up the printer to the airport express using a usb cable.
The question is. Can I use the other functions of the scanner using the bonjour/Express set up? I doesn't seem to work. I'm using a macbook so not hooking up the usb directly to the computer would be helpful. Thanks.

Theoretically almost anything is possible...
(a) The first thing you have to have is the proper hardware support. Only Apple knows if the AEBS's USB port has capabilities to access a scanner. If the hardware doesn't support it, end of story.
(b) (1) You would need to create AEBS firmware that tapped into the AEBS hardware for scanning. (2) This firmware would need to provide a network interface for clients to use to access the scanning capability. (3) The Mac applications would need to be modified to know how to get a scan over a network connection instead of a local scanner.
I have a suspicion that a USB printer interface has been standardized to some degree while the USB scanner interface has very little standardization.

Can the people recognition function in PSE 9 be configured to look for a specific person?

I have over 100k photos in my library. I'd like to have PSE 9 search through these images and identify only my family members. For instance, I would like PSE 9 to serach for images of only my daughter and provide a tag for each image that contains her picture. With this many photos it just takes too long to use the people recognition function because I must go through every person (face) that it identifies rather than just my daughter's. So, is there a way in PSE 9 to restrict the photo recognition feature to search for only one person/face?

I have the same need. We have numerous app vendors that change their certificate that I need to deploy to 2500 PC's. We were using the registry via MS JVM to import these certificates. That is no longer an option with 2003 Server and Vista not supporting MS JVM. I have tried the Keytool as a login script process but it keeps asking for a password. Doubt we would ever be able to locate anyone who would know what it was. So far I have found the system deployment setup but am having problems actually getting it to work. Here is what I have so far for the deployment.config:
deployment.system.config=file\:/M\:/Winstall/Utils/Javacert/deployment.properties
deployment.system.config.mandatory=false
The deployment.properties has:
deployment.system.security.trusted.certs=file\:/M\:/Winstall/Utils/Javacert/Trusted.certs
The Trusted.certs file ahs all the certificates we support from a network application point of view. Any help would be appreciated.

I sent a print job to a UPS store by accident. I went to the place to collect my document but I was told that they didn't receive anything. In fact, they were not connected to the cloud. The document has some sensitive information. Where can I go to cancel or delete the print queue?

Please log into your ePrintCenter account to see if the print job is still in a 'Pending' state. If the job has already processed and is no longer pending, then there will not be a way to retrieve this information back and stop the job. If the job is still in a pending state, then please click Cancel to stop the job.

Can the time capsule function as a SAN that a pc can attach to

I am working with a new client who is running both a Mac and a pc and using a Time Capsule for connectivity. I know the time capsule will back up Mac devices and serve as a 'print server', but can it also function as a SAN type device for file sharing. He is also running Win7 in parallel for an app that required windows.

TC can function as a file server to windows..
You need to setup the TC to use SMB compatible names.. ie short, no spaces. pure alphanumeric. If you use wireless then both the TC name and the wireless name must comply.
Also ensure you use have bonjour for windows loaded or better still the airport utility for windows.
Set the file sharing section to correct workgroup can sometimes help.
Also ensure you have correct access credientials.. or at least turn on read and write access.
Remember .. there is no backup of files stored on the TC.. it is a backup device itself with no automated backup. There is a very slow manual full disk archive. That is all.

This seems like the same problem I have with the OfficeJet Pro 8500 I purchased today. I bought this to replace the OfficeJet 5510 which completely stopped working once the upgrade was made to Snow Leopard.
I can print perfectly ok from the computers we have (all running Snow Leopard) over an ethernet network but when I try to send a document as a fax, the "send fax" button in the print dialog box just remains grey.
I have rebooted the computers, rebooted the OfficeJet and re-installed the HP software - all with no change or improvement.
Maybe I have lost the plot like CdaveC and need some pointers.

Can the time capsule function like an external hard drive?

Can I place files there I want to archive but don't need access to everyday? I want to consolodate two older external drives that I have to the time capsule.

You can place files on the Time Capsule drive if you want, but there will be a conflict at some point in time if you are also using the Time Capsule for Time Machine backups.
Drives do have a way of filling up much faster than you expected.
If you plan to place "original" or "master" copies of data on the Time Capsule drive, you'll also have to figure out how to back up those files to yet another drive. Time Machine cannot do this.

Can the same partner function be entered in the sales order more than once.

Yes. You can have multiple Ship to Party, Bill to Parrty & Payer in Sales Order. But Sold to Party will have to Unique & single.
This functionality of having multilpe Partners is widely used & just follow as Deepak suggested above & you too can have multiple Partners of same type in single Sales Order.
But there has to be a strong Business case in doing so... say different Ship tp Party for different line items in Sales Order or different BIll to Party for some line Items in Sales Order.

Can the "join points" function default be set to "smooth"?

I have hundreds of "join points" (command-J) operations to do and they all need to be set to "smooth" - which means that my workflow speed is seriously slowed by having to click on the radio button next to "smooth" because the default is "corner". Is there any way to set the default to "smooth" so I won't have to click this button?

HP Photosmart C4480 - can't get the scanner to work on 10.6

I've seen other forum topics on this from a while back, and I'm following those directions, but still get errors. So, I've uninstalled any HP software with this printer/scanner, installed the HP drivers from Apple, yet still can't scan. I keep getting error messages when I use the scanner function from both the printer menu on preference settings and image capture. Any help would be appreciated.

Clearly HP (and Epson - I have Epson equipment too) have decided to abandon their customers as they see that Apple has supplied basic Print and Scan support in Snow Leopard that goes further than ever before.
What is particularly awful is that we all will have purchased, at some time, a Scanner or Printer from these people that came with bundled software - some of which, like Read Iris OCR was the reason for the purchase and none of that is supported any longer.
What about the CD printing software for Epson's printers? We have just purchased a Photo R800, not a cheap printer and it came with Tiger drivers. There are no updates for SL.
