Can the lumia 525 be updated to next version of windows (probably 8.1) ? When the phone will be launched in india?

As that software update hasn't even been officially announced yet it's impossible to say with any certainty. It is expected it will be compatible with all current WP8 devices but only Microsoft can say that for sure.
You will need to contact Nokia India directly or retailers in India to find out when they expect to be selling it.

The application was installed 2 days prior and works fine but the patch will not install.

Yes let's see if there is any error occurs in installation log.
Meanwhile from the error message, the possible cause is that a part of the application is missing such as a registry key with app version. In this situation you can first test to reinstall/repair the application though it is still working fine - see if issue
persists after reinstall the app.
Meanwhile you could also contact Citrix about this issue. It may be a common issue and Citrix may provide a quick fix for it.

Sorry to hear that. I understand your frustration and I hope they send back a better working N78-3.
Myself, I count myself lucky. Everything works perfectly for me right now...email, bluetooth, maps, gps, 3rd party apps, battery life, 3G, wifi, etc. etc.
The only issue I've been having is the dreaded reboots but I believe that may have to do with 3rd party apps. I recently uninstalled Google Search app from my N78 and since then it hasn't rebooted or shown any issues. This seems odd at first but makes sense if you think about the fact that the Google Search app loads itself into memory and runs in the background at all times.
I did this this past Tuesday night and so far no reboots, crashes or any problems. I'm sure I just jinxed myself but I've been using it heavily over the last few days with no issues. Prior to this, it would usually reboot every 2 days. If it doesn't reboot for another few days I'll be happy.
I would normally not stand for this but I just love the phone and if I got something else it'd probably be the iPhone 3G which has perhaps more software bugs and issues than the N78-3!!

I have a task sequence that runs on servers to automatically install the advertised updates in software center. I have one server that is not installing these updates and from the smsts log I see an error about "CI Version times out" Does anyone
know what this means? TIA

Nokia Lumia 525 Software Update. Wifi problem.

Hello Nokia users. I recently bought a Nokia Lumia 525. Heard that Software Update would come by September. So i learned how to update my phone by seeing Nokia videos and articles. I got to know that we need a WiFi connection to perform a Software Update.
the problem is i don't have a WiFi connection in my place. Can i download the update using Mobile Network ? I saw this " YOUR PHONE WILL AUTOMATICALLY DOWNLOAD UPDATES IF YOUR DATA SETTINGS ALLOW IT" what does that mean ? How can i make my data settings allow it to download my update ? Can i pause and resume my download ?
i heard that we can Update our phone at your nearest Nokia Care center... If yes how much it will cost ?

Seems as thou I am having similar problems as other clients are having with movies. My computer guy asked me to ask you this question in the subject line. I have no idea what this means. I sent him a video, he has sound but no video, and he has tried multiple applications, but the results are the same. No video. So, I am suppose to ask the author to send you an exported version using H.264 video codec???? Please help get this resolved!

Firefox constantly tells me it is updating to next version, and shows the dots moving, but it goes on for hours and does not download--what should I do?

Firefox tells me an update is being installed. I see the dots moving. I exit everything else and wait for the update to complete.
It goes on for several hours showing the dots moving. Apparently, nothing is really happening. I shut the computer down when I go to bed. When I reboot, I see the same thing, and get the same results. I've checked the help database, and the previously asked questions, but can't find anything. Any suggestions?

Poor Reception on Nokia Lumia 525 after updating from Windows 8.0 to 8.1

Hi, I am using Vodafone India and I am facing some issues with network connectivity. Infact in areas of low signal availability( relatively low signal availability- 4 points and 2g is available) the phones network bar switches off and then it freezez to 1 point(some times stays as zero bars of coverage). Also there is problems with calls being dropped and network browsing issues. Even if I move to an area with good signal still it shows only 1 point. I have to turn on flight mode and again return to normal mode to get connectivity.I replaced my sim twice but still the problem exists. So I tried using a different sim in my phone and then also problem persists. I also tried my sim on a different set(Lumia 520) and it was showing full network coverage(Where as it shows 0 or 1 bars in my phone).I went to Microsoft service centre and they did a reset and said issue was software related. But again when I moved to low coverage area same issue started again . Also from what I remember, this problem started after I update my mobile from windows 8.0 to 8.1

If the MS service have done a firmware reinstall and you still have the problem then it is not a software fault. Take it back and insist they check the antennas connections.

Is there a complete list of keyboard short cuts (the Firefox support website list is incomplete, e.g. c^l, c^k, formerly c^e)? Can the support site be updated to complete the list?

This question is in the wrong place but I could not find a better place for it. Can this issue be forwarded to someone who can fix it?
The support site is missing many relevant keyboard shortcuts such as move to the address bar = C^l, move to the search bar = C^k and formerly C^e (the lack of this one is what set me on the search for shortcuts). Is there a way to expose the hotkeys in the application?

RH7 can the template file be updated later and reassigned

It appears once my htt file has been made and my project begins I cannot update it and have it update my existing pages. For example: I want to add another javascript to every page? When the project is published it does not seem to update my existing pages. Is there a method to update my htt file and have it regenerate all my pages with the new code? Thanks

So I have to open ALL my existing pages and paste the new javascript (or whatever object)! There is no way to globally redefine the template. The htt file is not updated on publish? Does the Master pages in RH8 fix this? This is really awful and not what I wanted to hear but please confirm that I am understanding my options: Cut and paster new code into each existing page header if I want to add a javascript to all pages.
This really means that before starting a project you need to clearly define what actions and functions you need and perhaps put a bunch in you may need just in case. For example I have been told I need to put a javascript in so that our page counters can monitor what content is being hit. So I will have to open ALL 1500 pages to add this! I'm in denial please tell me I have misunderstoon, he he

Hey Louis1960. The Valet broadcasts two wireless networks. It has its main network and the Guest access network. You may double check the password using the Cisco Connect software or via the setup page. If you have the correct password, I suggest that you try adjusting the wireless channel of the Valet. You can also manually enter the wireless settings of the Valet on your Android device.
