Can the style (via CSS) of the forms built in FormsCentral be modified/changed?

- rounding corners of the input boxes
- adjusting input box "height"
- adjust padding between the field/button elements
- "submit" button text change (ex. contact us , send, etc)
and so fourth

It is not that we have planned any time soon. You can embed your form into your own web site, at least the surrounding page could be creatively designed, but the form itself would retain it's style.

Hi,
The form that you create via FormsCentral can be embedded in your Muse site (in Muse you can select Object/Insert HTML and then paste the embed code that you get via FormsCentral by clicking "Distribute" Tab / Embed button.)

When closing the Form "Do you want to save changes" window

I have a Master-Detail form where in my POST-QUERY trigger i am changing the LOV non-database item field to some value. When I just select Master record(NOT in query mode) my detail records pop up in the detail block. This is done by EXECUTE_QUERY in WHEN-NEW-BLOCK-INSTANCE trigger in Detail Block. But when i close the form it asks me to save changes even though i haven't changed anything. I have this statement in POST-QUERY Trigger
SET_RECORD_PROPERTY(:SYSTEM.TRIGGER_RECORD,:SYSTEM.TRIGGER_BLOCK,STATUS,QUERY_STATUS); This issue does not happen in QUERY-MODE.
I tried both Set_Item_Property('BLOCK.CODE',ITEM_IS_VALID,PROPERTY_TRUE); this property in the POST_QUERY and Set_Item_Property('item_name',VALIDATE_FROM_LIST,PROPERTY_TRUE); in QUERY-MASTER-DETAILS trigger but it didn't work.

Hi!
I think, beause the message "Do you want to save the changes ..." has no error number,
you will not get to catch it on a form level on-message-trigger.
Better find out, why the record status changed.
- Look to a post-query trigger that fills or changes a database item
- change the Validate From List item Property to No
- check for a when-validate-item or post-change trigger on items with a lov that has the Validate From List item Property set to Yes

It depends on:
1) What oracle version are you using
2) What do you mean for "format"
For example: if you're on Oracle9i and changing format means changing the order of the tables in the FROM clause and you're using Rule Based Optimizer then the execution plan and the execution time can be very different...

not sure that i understand your question, but make sure that there are no spaces in the path that you are trying to load the file from. c:\My Documents\text.txtshould bec:\MyDocuments\text.txthope that helps.

After someone responds to a form can the form fields remain active?

I have created a form in Acrobat Pro and uploaded it to Forms Central and distributed it. When I download the response in PDF the form fields are not active. is it possible to keep the fields active and if so, how do you make that happen?

All of the fields in the downloaded "response PDF" are marked "Read Only". You can change this using Acrobat by editing the form and unchecking the "Read Only" box in the form field Properties dialog box.

What can the form do in the real situation?

I am planing to learn form develop. But, I am wondering what the form can do in the real situation. I did not do such work before. So I do not know what the form can do in the real world.
Such as, in the all kinds of webpages, there are a lot of tables which include data from database. Are those tables made by oracle form ? what else can form do ? Basiclly, oracle form just develop tables and publish in the webpage? Is that correct?

Forms can do lot of things. Question is, what do you want to do with it :)
Oracle forms is a very good tool in creating enterprise applications quickly and efficietly. It is very tightly coupled with the Oracle database.
It's not only web pages, where this is used. We've our own interconnect manager product, (used for network billing) developed entirely in oracle forms.
Only thing, it lacks is a little bit of look and feel which can also be significantly enhanced using java beans etc.
So, tell me if u want to develop a particular thing and then may be we can tell if, if it is possible to do using forms or not?

I have a web form with the save function, which works well until another person is required to complete a part of the form. Can the form link be sent to others?

Some respondents need to save it part way through and send the form on to someone else to complete a section. When they send the link the other people dont seem able to see the form with the content previously completed, rather a blank form opens up. Can this be fixed? if so how?

thanks. We are having continuing problems - after 45 mins on to adobe help, the only suggestion given is to try a different browser. unsurprisingly this does not work! I am using the email received - which has the 'retrieve form' box attached. One user was able to save it once, went back later did some more, and saved (or so she thought) when she went back again, it was totally empty!
I have had really mixed results - some have used the form with no problem, whilst others have reported the same issue (using various browsers). Any suggestions..... (i set 28 days, as the time to keep open, and all are within this time frame).

I would like to control my link styles within my CSS panel,
but if I set up one set (up, over, blah, blah)...how about if I
want yet another style set for link text that's within a different
color cell? Is it possible? How?
Also, I have controlled background imagery and copy via CSS.
But I would like to add ALT tags to portions of the background
image. My properties inspector won't bring it up as an option due
to the CSS. Do I just have to work with the HTML instead of the
visuals?
-- Same situation for the 'hot spot' tool, and I really need
to use it but my bg image is unselectable due to it being inserted
via CSS. The Properties doesn't "see it". How do I get around that?

Why can the settings in my itunes not be changed any more?

I have the following problem: The settings in my itunes cannot be changed. Even if I try to change them, they jump back to the former settings. Therefore I do not succeed in watching my mediatheque on my TV-set. In my itunes settings there is a password for the opening of my mediatheque. But in the settings of Apple TV there is no field for a password. I can´t remove the password in itunes as ALL settings cannot be changed any more. What can I do? Thanks so much for your help.

Most videos will not stream from US to Brazil......
iTunes application does not stream video over the internet anywhere. It only streams on your local network (to Apple TV or iDevice)

I believe it can not be, but would like to confirm from the experts.
When we create a company with segmentation, the system generates four default segments - Natural Account, Division, Region and Department.
Most other ERP systems have it as Division, Region, Department followed by the Natural Account code.
The question I have is, can the above order be changed to like other ERPs - Division, Region, Department followed by the Natural Account code.

You can't upgrade processors or video cards on Mac's (MacPro if you can find one that is)

Once the document is digitally signed it will not allow further changes.
