Can the thumbnail container (TC) in a light box be set to a fixed size and a single row/line?

I would like to set the thumbnail container to be one row and a fixed length. I also want the thumbnails to rotate/slide from left to right along the row. Currently, I can only set up thumbnail container to show all the thumbnails in rows. Can the container be set for a fixed length and a single row; and the user be allowed to scroll through thumbnails that exceed the length of the container?

If you use ethernet to connect the two AirPort Extremes together, you'll have Gigabit speeds available at all of the ethernet ports on both routers.
If you connect the second AirPort Extreme using wireless only and configure the Extreme to "extend a wireless network", then the maximum speeds that the second router can attain will be limited to the capability of the wireless connection. So, if you connect at normal "n" wireless speeds of say 130 Mbps, that will be the maximum speed available at the ethernet ports on the second AirPort Extreme.
I think you can easily see the difference between Gigabit ethernet, which is 1000 Mbps compared to "n" wireless at 130 Mbps. Even if you can manage to connect at 5 GHz speeds for wireless, the max speed will be in the 300 Mbps range, more than 3 times slower than Gigabit ethernet. Normal "n" speeds will be about 7 times slower than ethernet.
For streaming high definition video and other demanding sources, you'll need as much bandwidth (speed) as you can get. Ethernet is always the best choice if you can possibly use it. And...there's no wireless interference on an ethernet connection.

MPlayerX isn't itself the problem; it was downloaded from a source that packaged adware with it. Click here and follow the instructions, or if desired, run Adware Medic.

In Muse, I cannot use the selection tool on the thumbnails without ALL of them changing shape. "Edit together" is not enabled and "Freeform thumbnails is. Very frustrating!

I can't disable the "Edit together" function in the thumbnail widget control panel. I can uncheck it, but my thumbnails all continue to edit together. What's the cure?

This is not possible to make thumbnails' different dimensions on a slideshow widget. Edit together works for formatting the thumbnails, not for re-sizing. You will need to use a composition widget if you need thumbnails of different sizes.

OCIContextSetValue: can the structure contain a pointer to a C++ object?

I have a working external stored procedure that's implemented in C++ (with extern "C"). I'm using OCIContextSetValue to share a struct (allocated with OCIMemoryAlloc for OCI_DURATION_SESSION) between calls. My problem is that I now also need to share a C++ object between calls.
I extended the struct with a pointer to the object (created with "new MyObject"). I free the object by calling another proc from a "before logoff" trigger. It works in simple tests, but since I don't know what processes are involved, I'm afraid that the memory might go out of scope.
Is this a valid strategy? Is there an alternative? Any guidance would be appreciated!

Ok. So if you didn't know, there are some sites that allow you to download music for free legally. For example many industry artists release "free albums" or "mixtapes" just for their fan base. They are uploaded by the actual artists themselves and downloaded by millions of fans. However when I choose to play one on my iPhone 5c, all of them get deleted except for the iTunes purchased songs. This has never happened before and I would like to know why it is happening now, and how to fix it.

It may be that your iPhone's set to sync automatically, which can potentially remove any music that's been added to the device. It may help to set the device to 'manual mode,' so that you have complete and total control over what content is on the device.

100% width thumbnail container in lightbox slideshow?

Is there a way to make the thumbnail container 100% width in a lightbox slideshow?
Basically I want a strip of 4-5 photos to span 100% of the width of the screen, then the user can click on an individual photo to bring up the larger version.
I have it set up working the way I want except I can't make the thumbnail container 100% width.

How can the IE brower display pictures in WCS?

Hi all,
Anyone know that how can the IE display pictures in WCS? Even I enable all field in Security and Advanced in the properties dialog of IE6.0 in Windows 2003, the picture still cannot display in the page of WCS. And the certificate issued by WCS I also have installed it to the Trusted Certificate Authority's local computer. Java runtime 1.5.0-6 also installed. I have noticed that the picture is associated with "do" file and "jsp" file.

Hi Mark,
The WCS is running 4.0 version and the resolution is 1024X768, but the size I don't know that. One of the picture is the "Alarm monitor" at the corner of bottom left. This Alarm Monitor is associated with a JSP file. Thanks!

When I walk through the local CompUSA, there the ifi is, in the Apple section--all hooked up. I think that is what the i in the name represents, like iPod, iMac, etc.

Ryclark is right that trial and error is needed.
However, to answer your specific question, for most noise gate applications, you really just want the fastest attack you can get (which will be the default of 1ms), otherwise you risk clipping the start of whatever sound is "opening" the gate.
Similarly, unless you want to add some compression as well, just leave the output gain at the default setting of zero.
The main thing in a gate is threshold--which is very dependent on your material. Basically, you want to set this so the wanted audio makes it through the gate but everything else is muted. You can get a rough idea of where you want this set by looking at your waveform...but after that you'll be best off tweaking it by ear.

Captivate 7 question - slide with audio and light boxes not functioning properly

I am currently working a project and cannot figure something out.
I have a slide with 9 smartshape buttons on it. When each button is clicked it brings up a lightbox. Each lightbox has it's own close button. When the lightbox is closed by the user then the user immediately sees the 9 button screen and can choose another button to view and read, and so forth. I have the lightboxes working fine.
Now, I added text to speech. It is a mere 15 seconds in length, but it contains some important content and the directions. I want the text to speech audio to stop playing if the user goes ahead and clicks on one of the 9 buttons which then brings up a lightbox. I want the audio to then resume when they close the lightbox. OK I have all of that working in a technical sense.
I've also tried this advanced action, but this stops the Audio entirely, however it does solve the autoadvance issue. so I am just trading issues.
I also have "back and next" nav buttons on the slide, so the user must click one or the other to proceed off the slide. Ok those worked.
Here is the issue. Once I added the text to speech audio, at the end of 17.3 seconds, whatever lightbox the user may be viewing and they hit the close lightbox button, captivate automatically sends the user to the next slide. No clicking "Next" or anything. I can't figure out why this is occurring.
Prior to adding audio the slide worked as it should with the user being able to click each of the 9 buttons to "read some info" then close it and click another button on the slide, etc. They could do this in any order they wanted.
When I added the audio, I set the advanced actions so if a user clicked on one of the buttons, the audio would stop playing until they came back to the main screen. Ok no problem getting that to function - except it stops functioning at the end of 17.3 seconds.
What am I missing?

Correct I have only 15 seconds of audio with the slide. no audio with any of the light boxes. Those are "read only" light boxes.
If the user clicks a shape button early, before the entire audio has played, I want the audio to stop, so the user can read the lightbox info, then as they click back to the slide away from the lightbox, I want the audio to resume playing - so they can hear the rest of the audio. But, this is where is doesn't function properly as when the audio finishes playing at 15 seconds. The next shape button the user clicks on to shows the lightbox, but when they click to close the lightbox, the lightbox closes then sends the user to the next slide. They haven't had a chance to view any of the other shape buttons and the information found in those corresponding light boxes.
