Can there be models on corporate order that's not in TABook?

My employer has odered a T400 for me from Lenovo SG. The part No. is, 7434-A15, which is non existent in the TABook ver 346 (Sep 2008). Can there be a part no. that is not in TABook. Are the corporate orders not covered under TABook? Is there any other place that I can check to confirm the spec?

Welcome to the forum!
There have been many models in the past that were not covered by appropriate "books"...
However, even the Lenovo's website currently has no reference to such a model number, so I'm suspecting a typo...
Cheers,
George
