Can things in the icloud be shared between apple id accounts?
I would like to add my iphone and my wifes iphone to icloud. If we each have our own apple id, will we be able to share our photos
between accounts, or would it be better to have one apple id and place both of our devices under the one account? If we do this, is it possible to keep things like contacts separate, or will they be merged on both devices.
Basically, how can I utilize the icloud to share some stuff and also keep other stuff separate or individualized.

I might be very ignorant on this but I think you can not share some things only within the same apple ID account in multiple devices.
In address book you can try to create groups, one for each user - but you both are still sharing all contacts anyway...
I also don't think you can share info from the iCloud from two different apple ID's.

If you can remember them their current answers you can login here and change them : https://appleid.apple.com , click on 'Manage your Apple ID' and then 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of your account's page
If you can't remember their answers and you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

How can I remove the Icloud email from my apple ID?
I don't want Icloud at all.
I don't use whatsoever however I did recently use my apple ID to log into icloud and there is a [email protected] email that seems to substituting for my actual email. How can I remove it? I certainly did not put that email adress there and it is unsettling is there any way to severe this email's connections from my phone and ID?Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and look in the Mail section. My cousin's iphone gave it to me but the bad thing is, it has a icloud and i can't access the phone. my cousin is involved to a motorcycle accident and he got a amnesia so he didn't remember anything to this phone. I entered the password so many times so that i can't activate the icloud account. Please, I need to access this phone immediately for emergency purposes. You are my only hope. When you enable photo stream on your Mac, in imports photos currently in your photo stream. However, photo stream only keeps photos for 30 days, even though up to 1000 photos will remain on your device until you delete them. When you enable photo stream on your Mac, you will only receive photos added in the last 30 days, as the others are no longer in your photo stream.
If you want to get all your old photos on your Mac, save them to your camera roll (if they aren't already there) by opening your photo stream album, tapping Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Once they are in your camera roll, import them to your Mac as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
Another option would be to create a shared photo stream containing the older photos and invite yourself (as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99). Then check Shared Photo Streams in iPhoto>Preferences>Photo Stream and you will see this shared photo stream on your Mac. -
I can't get the iCloud Contacts and Calendar folders to appear in Outlook 2010 using the iCloud Control Panel. Also the datafile share which ends in .aplzod is not created in Outlook. The Contacts and Calendar are sent to iCloud (verified on iCloud.com) but the iCloud folders are not created in Outlook in the Contacts and Calendar navigation panes. I get a message toward the end of the sync process indicating that there was an unspecified error. I'm using the newest version of the iCloud Control Panel, the 32 bit version of Outlook 2010, Windows 7 64 bit, an iPhone 3GS, and the latest version of iTunes. Any ideas how to complete the sync process to the end?

How can I change the iCloud ID associated with my iPad?
To change the ID for:
iMessage, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID sign out, sign back in using the other ID.
FaceTime, do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.
iTunes, do this in Settings>iTunes & App Store.
iCloud, start by saving your photo stream photos to your camera roll by opening your My Photo Stream album, tap Select, tap all the photos you want to save, tap the share icon (box with upward pointing arrow), then tap Save to Camera Roll. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and provide the password when prompted, then sign back in with the ID you want to use. This will delete the account and iCloud data from your phone but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing to a new account, your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in. However, if you are setting up a new account with a new ID, when you delete the account be sure to choose Keep on My iPad, then choose Merge when you sign into the new account to upload your data. -
I bought an iCloud locked iPhone not being aware that it was locked. if i bring inproof of purchase can they remove the iCloud lock?
Generally, a difficult thing to have. Apologies for getting that wrong. I guess when you buy stuff over the Internet from strangers it's more likely you get screwed than to get the original owner's receipt. I would think that is a suspicious document since a receipt from a store is easily forged.

How can I get the iCloud/iTunes password for my (now) deceased Father-in-Law's iMac? I have a list of his passwords, but nothing works! I know his email, but that account has been cancelled for security purposes, so we can't just request a new one. I tried his security questions to no avail.
ThanksSince that password is tied to his Apple ID, you will need to contact Apple; as far as I know, it will be a somewhat lengthy procedure and you will need to furnish necessary paperwork (including a death certificate as far as I know). Best to either stop at an Apple store or call them to find out exactly what it is you need to do.

I had an Apple ID which I used for iCloud. I upgraded the iCloud account and changed the apple ID to a @me address. Now I can't view what was in my original apple ID account. How can I get what was stored on the original account?

Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID? -
i changed companies and had icloud with my old company - now i want to just use my personal id and can't change any icloud info to match my personal ipad id - i can't delete the icloud without the old company id and password which is not available to me - it probably doesn't even exist anymore!
Because I can't delete the icloud account, I keep getting view terms to accept and it wants to go to the old company account. I can't do anything to get rid of this - when I try to delete the icloud it wants me to delete find my ipad and asks for the old co. id and password - it's a vicious circle and i just want to get rid of it and start fresh with my regular personal email id and password!!! Help!You will need that old Apple ID and password, which does indeed still exist. Apple doesn't delete Apple IDs, though if this ID was in the control of your company they may have changed the password. If so, you will need your former company to log into the iCloud account using that ID and password and erase the iPad or remove it from iCloud:

Until that's done you cannot change those settings, and if you try to restore the iPad will have it locked with Activation Lock and thereafter be unusable.

Be sure you are checking the email account that you used to set up the Apple ID you used to create the iCloud account. Also, be sure to check your spam/junk folder as well as your inbox. The email you should receive looks like the image below. When you get it, click the Verify Now link.
If it still isn't there, try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right look for a link to resend the verification email. -
i have updated my iphone 5s to iOS8 but it has my old icloud account, how can i change the icloud email address as i can not get passed this page??
I do not know the log in details and no longer have that icloud email address !!
please help :-(That's Activation Lock. You will need to remember the Apple ID and password you used to set up the phone.
If you can't remember them, you can go to iforgot.apple.com to try to recover the information.
If you are the original owner of the phone & have proof of purchase, you can try calling Apple to see if they can assist also.
