Can this be changed in Mail messages? Light gray color.

When viewing and printing email from my Inbox, the "To" line and the date (upper right on email) appear in a pale gray color.
Am printing email on a Canon PIXMA MX310, and printing in full standard color becaue I need too keep the messages intact as far as font colors, highlights, etc.
Problem is when these pages are faxed and photocopied, the two pale gray areas often come out very light, too faded.
Can it be changed? .

P.S. An example is this cut and paste from this Apple Support Communities page where it shows the "sign out" link. See how pale the "Welcome" is. It is even lighter than that in my email.

I found that they do list in the order you put them on the phone, but when I had to do a reset/restore it placed them into a nearly alphabetical order.
I have found no way to manually change the order nor did my local Genius Bar.

(And I should also say that I'm a little surprised there was no alert from Apple of suspicious activity on my account, if such was the case. Instead, when I logged into my account via Mobile Me three days ago I noticed that all messages in my inbox were gone as well as all of my contacts. I assume this was related to the current problem.)

The problem has been solved with the help of a MobileMe online counsellor. My MobileMe account had in fact been hacked into and the fraudster had been redirecting my e-mail messages to a phony account that he controlled. We took the forward off and reset all my passwords and security questions, which solved the immediate problem.

Yes, that appears how Mavericks works right now. However, you can open the Address Panel, select all your contacts, then click the To (or CC, or Bcc) buttons to move the selection to the address field.
If it is not already in the Toolbar, right-click on the Toolbar and select Customize Toolbar…
Then, drag the address panel up to wherever you want it.
You may also want to add it to the New Message window in the same way.

Check Settings>Messages>Send & Receive to make sure your phone number is listed and checked under "Start new conversations from". That was cause your iMessages to be addressed from your phone number rather than an email address. If the recipient has your number in their contacts, it will show as being from your name.

Hello using the settings from my email provider (Virgin Media), I set up my email account on my Mac. The problem arises trying to move the emails from the Inbox to the various mailboxes I set up. All this is occurring within Apple's Mail app, not the Desktop.
Could it be anything to do with the IMAP-enabled synching between my email account on my computer and on Virgin Media's servers where my actions on my computer are not being communicated to the server? I am not an expert and only guessing here! Thanks for pitching in.

I can't edit or delete mail messages on my iphone. The edit icon at the top of the inbox is there and when pressed I can select messages but can't go further - the icon to delete has disappeared and the message that was selected deselects itself.
I already tried to restore my iPhone, this didn't help.

I have iPhone 4S and have had the same problem since I upgraded to iOS 7. I could only send and receive from iPhones.

I called AT&T this morning. Turns out, iOS 7 cancelled my text messaging plan!!!! I was able text to other iPhone users because of iMessage. They turned my texting plan back on and I can now text everyone again!!

Walk it into the nearest Apple Store there in Ireland, admit you purposely avoided buying it there, and ask them to help you sort it out. I'm sure they'll be happy to service your overseas purchase.....

Change the mapping in /etc/postfix/aliases
I would however leave it as is and add an alias for root pointing to your desired address.
After you have edited /etc/postfix/aliases issue:
cd /etc/postfix
sudo postalias aliases
sudo newaliases
sudo postfix reload

Why I can't send any e-mail messages with 6230i?

Hi mates,
I have a Nokia 6230i with a Vodafone Italian sim card in it.
I know for sure that I CAN retrieve messages form my incoming POP3 e-mail server but I can't send any e-mail messages with it.
Any time I try to do that it prompts me an information balloon saying: message failed. Why??
I mean, I properly set up my phone with all Vodafone details but it still does not seem to work.
Any help will be appreciate

I've done some research on the SQLite database. Whenever Aperture hangs up (like during auto-stack or opening the filter hud) there are thousands of SQLite queries happening. These SQLite queries cause massive file I/O because the database is stored on the disk as 1kb pages. However, the OS is caching the database file; mine's only 12MB. I'm trying to track down some performance numbers for SQLite on osx but having trouble.
It's starting to look like most of the speed problems are in the libraries that Aperture uses instead of the actual Aperture code. Of course, that doesn't completely let the developers off the hook since they choose to use them in the first place.
Oh, and if anyone is curious, the database is completely open to queries using the command line sqlite3 tool. Here's the language reference http://www.sqlite.org/lang.html
