im sure time capsule can be used as a network HD....but I dont see it anywhere on the description page...if its only for backing up then its a bit useless

You cannot plug in to the USB as many people would like to do. It can only be used as network drive.
If the TC is not going to be part of the network.. just in bridge to the main router is fine.. then it is very hard to set two networks. It is possible but as g_wolfman has stated, it is far from great in that role.. USB drives are cheap as, faster than TC and more reliable with TM.

Can i backup using a cable, can this be used as a external hard drive?

i have 2 macbook pro's running mt lion, ipad iphone ipod running io6 and a exsisting network, i would like to know if i can use this as a external hard drive where there is no network, can i use it as a ex hard drive while it is only connected to my laptop, can this extend my exsisting network??

Let's start with the last question first.
The Time Capsule can only "extend" a wireless network if your main router is also an Apple device.
If it is, the Time Capsule can be configured to "extend a wireless network" by connecting using wireless only....assuming that it is located where it can pick up a good wireless signal from the main Apple router.
In this type of setup, the Time Capsule will provide more wireless coverage in the area where it is located and allow you backup using either wireless or directly using an Ethernet cable from your Mac to one of the LAN <-> ports on the Time Capsule.
If your main wireless router is not an Apple product, you must connect the Time Capsule to the main router using a wired Ethernet connection. You can run the cable virtually any length that you need in a home. In this type of setup, it is also possible for the Time Capsule to provide more wireless coverage.

I have TC and iPhone, mac pro and PC at my home.
TC is using as the hub for mac and PC.
iPhone is using 3G network.

The TC can provide three variations of WEP: Transitional, WEP 40-bit, & WEP 128-bit. To get the latter two options, the TC must be configured to operate in a non-"n" Radio Mode. That is, it would have to operate in either the 802.11a, b, or g modes.

Only Late 2009 and Mid 2010 27-inch iMacs, and Mid 2011 and newer iMacs can be used as an external screen with Target Display mode, so your Mac is not compatible.
However, you can use an application like ScreenRecycler to use the iMac as an external display through the network. You just need that both Macs are connected to the same network

Airport Express - Can this be used to connect my wired Xbox360?

I currently have a Timecapsule set up as my main internet and network hub. I wanted to connect my Xbox360 and Mac Mini to the internet and network but they are in a different room and I wanted to use ethernet cables (the Xbox doesn't have wifi).
Could I use an Express for this - i.e. connect the express near the xbox and within the signal from the Timecapsule and then run an ethernet cable from the express to the xbox - would this work? Would I get close to 802n speeds this way. My Mac Mini only has 802g so if I connected this way would I get closer to 802n speeds when transferring data across the network etc.
Let me know - my other option is to just an ethernet cable from the Timecapsule to the Mac Mini and Xbox - flat ethernet cable - but this would need to be run under the carpets.
I'd like to know which option would give me good speeds etc.

With regards to plugging your XBox into the Airport Express, then yes, it appears this is possible - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1515 (Although I don't have an xbox or an Airport Express so I can't guarantee this).
In theory you should get 802.11n speed between the wireless points although your speed via the ethernet cable is slower (in theory) than n-mode. In practice, the n-mode won;t connect at full speed all the time and you're likely to get a better speed from a cable running from the mac-mini to the TC.
I use my Macbook over the air to my TC in n-mode and while the speed isn't lightning fast, it gets the job done.

Mac OS X Leopard - 1 User licence. (Can this be used on a 2nd Home machine)

We only have a single G5 mac but want to load OSX 5 onto my Home Mac too which I use as a back-up and for home usage. Will I be able use the standard '1 User' licence for both computers which are used be me alone.

Can Time Capsule use another local network for backup?

Our LAN has a a separate wireless network solely for backup. The machines on the network use ethernet for routine operations and wireless to access backup disks. Can a Time Capsule access this backup LAN or must the machines all tune into its own wireless network?

Yes, you can. Just mount the disk you want to backup onto and select it in the Time Machine preferences. The backups are deadly slow wirelessly, so you'll want to backup with your mac getting it's internet over FireWire from the computer with the disk attached. But restoring works well wirelessly. As you can probably tell by my description here, I backup to a network volume myself. I do know that you can't backup to the same backup scheme both with a local disk and network volume (same disk).

0BBP_DOC: Document Flow...Can this be used in BI 7.0?

I am working on SAP BI with SRM. I need to get the Document History Data for SHC, PO's, CONF into BI. ( we are using Extended Classic).
SAP has given standard DSO - 0BBP_DOC. But I used that 4 years back while working for a different client and they were on SRM 3.0 and BW 3.5.
Now we are on SRM 5.0 and BI 7.0. I checked the forums/OSS notes and I see this DSO - 0BBP_DOC is applicable only to BW 3.X and it does not mention anything about BI 7.0.
Can anyone please advise, whether is this DSO still applicable for use in BI 7.0?

     I have learning AS3 just a short time,and there is a task need me to do spelling check in a textArea.
     I'm so glad that i find this,but I can not use it well.I try it in Flex builer3 and it worked well,but i don't know how to use it by flash cs4.
     My programm is built by flash cs4,and I cannot change it to Flex now.
     I put the swc file into compoent menu and new a file as sample code,but it cannot work.
     I want to know whether this can be used by flash cs4 and how?

But, your warranty/support will only be valid in the US, & the phone will not support LTE where you intend to use it. Make sure you only purchase from Apple, no where else.
