Is this screen issue on my iPod touch 4th gen fixable somehow. I realy don't want to have to buy a new one and I'm fairly sure the warranty is expired. It has been dropped a few times but nothing too serious if I recall right. There is a small dent in the side of the iPod where the little dark spot on the upper left is. Some research I've done suggests that maybe it's an issue with the LCD. Resetting the iPod has no effect. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Looks like screen problem to me..
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 for 64 GB 4G and $99 for the other 4Gs. They do not fix yours.

and yes, it is possible. contact apple (have a credit card ready) tell them you need a new battery, their gonna tell you that its going to be aroun 80$-90$ with taxes and shipping included.
you can try opening it your self and buying the battery elswhere cheaper, but totally not recomended if you dont want to ruin your phone. unless you have extensive knowlege of what you are doing -

When I try to play Netflix on y new Mac Mini and old monitor, I get a message asking me to make sure my monitor is HDCP compliant. Is this because I am using an old monitor? Do I need a new one?
All kinds of bugs are being reported with Safari, from sluggish performance to it refusing to load up at all. Some users are seeing an HDCP compliant error message appear when watching Netflix, and possible solutions include switching to Silverlight rather than HTML5 or unplugging display peripherals. Alternatively, you could switch to another browser until either Apple or Netflix get around to fixing the bug.

Can't deal with these kernel panics... Should I cave and buy a new SSD?
Specs: OSX.8.2 / ADATA SX900 256GB SSD / 15in Mid-2010 MBP / No longer under AppleCare
Problem: Intermittent kernel panics
What I believe:
- Source of issue is SSD
- Took laptop to Apple and 3rd party Apple Certified Specialist, both showed clean ext hardware tests except for SSD, but could not pinpoint issue.
- Problem travels with drive from body to body.
- ADATA Firmware/Sandforce SSD does not play with OSX.8.2
- Kernel panics are not patterned. Never point to specific recurring processes/threads... almost always background/native operations (windowserver, Finder, iTunes, etc). Never during overheating or high graphics/CPU stress. Rarely—but not never—during 3rd party operations.*
- It is NOT my RAM
- Reset PRAM, no change.
- Memtest clean.
Other things I have done to try to be proactive:
- Clean re-install of OS.
- Erased disk, partition. Repaired both before reinstall of OS.
I am still experiencing the kernel panics and it is making it impossible for me to work. Should I cave and buy an OCZ SSD? Thanks in advance.

It is up to you. Using one account makes it easier to share apps. However, you have to add a new email address in
Settings>FaceTime>You can be reached by, and
Settings>Messages<Send and Receive At
and delete the common ones from othat device. -
Help! I am struggling and im really not a wizz with technology. I must have missed the morph into the new world! I have a macbook (i think!) and i found that im still running off the version 10.5.8. I have just plugged in my new ipad, and tried to get it synced with Itunes and it said i needed a newer version.
Am i able to upgrade to a newer version and if so, how do i do it...i really dont want to throw out this computer because it is awesome...can someone please help me?To be able to connect with the devices that need a newer version of iTunes, you are first going to need to upgrade you OS X. To do this from where you are at, first you need to make sure that your computer meets the minimum requirements for OS X Snow Leopard which you can find here http://support.apple.com/kb/SP575 and then after verifying that it can, you then need to order the Snow Leopard CD from Apple to do the upgrade. You can purchase the CD from them for $19.99 and when it gets to your house, you can insert the CD in the drive and press the "C" key while booting your computer. Then you'll get the install wizard from the CD which will give you directions you need to install Snow Leopard on your computer. After getting that installed, make sure you update the software on your computer and it will get you what you need to be able to Sync your devices. After you get Snow Leopard installed, if you wanted to go further you could then upgrade to 10.7 Lion or 10.8 Mountain Lion if your computer can handle those as well, and you can do that right from the App Store that will be available to you from Snow Leopard and you don't have to order a CD for those.

What can I do to solve an issue with my iPod touch gen. 5 32 gb on connecting to iTunes on my computer? iTunes says there is an error with my iPod touch, which this was a result of deleting my songs and videos. I was only transferring more songs, videos and editing my playlists. I don't have that much of the songs left. What is the best solution?

I have been having a lot of issues with my iPod touch. Whatever I purchase on my iPod I can't seem to transfer it to my iTunes library. If something should happen to my iPod, I wouldn't want to lose all of the music I have purchased. I can't upgrade it either because a box pops up that says everything will be erased from my iPod... I need help!
Might be an authorization issue in iTunes. Try deauthorizing your computer through the Store menu at the top of iTunes and then authorizing it again. Once that is done try transferring purchases from the iPod Touch.
