Can Toshiba send me a new windows disk?

I brought my laptop at christmas, it didn't come with a windows disk (they may be on at the bottom of the box, which i'll check when i get home) but came pre-loaded with Windows Vista.
I have some XP disks but i don't want to go back to XP right now.
So, if i don't have a disk, is it possible to send off for one?
I want to format due to unresponsive commands and mutiple errors on start up.
That and it has gone incredibly slow. I've tried to scan for viruses with McAffe and AVG, as well as proper Norton and it will not find anything, despite obvious sighs.
Sorry if it's in the wrong section, i really couldn't tell...
That and, what's Set Up Utility?
Can i use that? When i start my laptop up, it's by 'Enter boot menu'

I dont know what notebook you have but I assume your notebook has been equipped with the HDD recovery.
This allows you to recover the notebook without using any Recovery disk.
Of course there should be a option which would allows you to create a own recovery DVD. Read you user manual!
From my experience you could use the preinstalled Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator.

How Do I send variables to new window since cflocation won't work?

I have a form that sends data to itself using <FORM action="#getfilefrompath(cgi.script_name)#" method="post">
It is then either saved or updated, then the flyer_id sent to pdf_view.cfm to view it in a PDF format. I am using cflocation to go to another page with the flyer_id:

Where the flyer_id is used to query the appropriate info on the pdf_view.cfm. What I really would like to happen is the varable flyer_id to automatically open the pdf_view.cfm page in a new window, after saving/updating the flyer.

Satellite P200-10O: Can't send emails using Vista Windows Mail

Can any one help.
I have a Satellite P200-10O, with Vista installed. In Win Mail i have set up my email accounts as normal.
When i open Win Mail i can click send and receive and it searches for new messages, this can be repeated as often as you like. However when i create a new message and click send it stops working. The message goes into the outbox, if i open it in the outbox and click send, nothing happens, after a while of trying every thing freezes up. If i then close the program and re open it will send the message but then sometimes the send and receive doesn't work until you close and re open. Also the message counters do not up date.
I have tried everything i can think of, Vista forum, ISP, Toshiba. So far no joy although i will be getting back in touch with Toshiba again. Message is set to send immediatley.
No virus or firewall is being used.

why are you making yourself such problems?? Why dont you use Mozilla Thunderbird which is faster, reliable and has better functions then this Vista Mail thingy??
I use Thunderbird now for some years and I love it. Its better than outlook and has so many functions which make the work a lot easier.

Why can I not open a new window but I can open new tabs in V3.6.16?

I am running Firefox 3.6.16 on both my PC and my laptop. The program works fine on my PC, I can open both new windows and new tabs. However, on my laptop I can not open a new window. Tabs open just fine, but when I try to open a new window nothing happens. Also, when I close the program after trying to open a new window the program is still running but I have no Firefox window to work in and therefore have to go through the Task Manager to end the program. And when I re-open it, I get asked if I want to restore the session or start a new session. Is there a way to

I can not open one more new window of FF by double-clicking on FF icon

I can open only 1 browser window FF
I want to open another.
- I can open by selecting NEW WINDOW from the file menu. It's normal.
- But I can't open by double-clicking on FF icon. The message happens in this case: "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system."
Before double-clicking on FF, I checked processs at Task Manager and just one process "firefox.exe" is running.
I try many ways to troubleshoot this problem such as:
- install FF again
- run safe mode
- Update all add-on
- add new profile in Profile manager and run with new one

But can't fix this problem.

Hi, I am a beginner user of Labview. Could help me solve this problem:
For user's login verified, the system allows the user to choose two functions.
Press button 1, go to a new window where the user can change their particulars
Press button 2, go to another window where the main menu is.
I used case structure to select functions. But it can not work.
The attachment is what I do. Can anyone help to point out my mistakes?

Hello yoyo,
just put your "Main_Menu.vi" instead of the text "main menu" (and set the window properties to "Open when called" and "Close when finished" of that vi).
Btw. you can also use "Wait for Front panel activity" instead of "Wait (ms)" For a simple user interface this is really convenient.

Why can't I open a new window now? I prefer a new window to a tab.

I like using Mozilla, I also like to open a new window, as opposed to a tab (that's just me I guess). I now have to Control W to get a window - can't the open be brought back? (and I don't always need the Private Window).

Hmm, how were you opening it before?
In Firefox 29 and higher, there is a menu button with 3 horizontal bars at the right end of the main toolbar. This should have "New Window" as an item. If you prefer to use the classic menu bar, and open a new window from the File menu, you can display the bar using any of these methods:
* right-click a blank area of the tab bar > Menu Bar
* right-click the "+" button on the tab bar > Menu Bar
* tap the Alt key to display the bar temporarily, then View > Toolbars > Menu Bar
* click the "3-bar" menu button > Customize > Show/Hide Toolbars
If New Window is not available and you only have New Private Window, then you may be in a private window already.
By the way, Ctrl+w should ''close'' the current tab, at least on Windows.

Can't move tab to new window (tabs are locked) or open new window

I have updated Firefox to 28.0 and I am still having the issue with not being able to move tabs to individual windows, open individual windows or click on a web link to open a new window. If I right click on the link it will open in the window as a new tab but will not open as an new window. Can someone tell me if there is a lock on tabs/windows that freezes them? Please help.

Thank you for the input - unfortunately this did not change anything. I removed all extensions and even reloaded Firefox after cleaning out all the hidden files and I still experience the same. I can hit the [+] and get a new page but I cannot open a link in an email unless I right click and open to a new tab - although it will not allow you to open to a new window. you cannot grab a window that is open and pull it so that it is it's own separate window. I have tried this using a different application and it does work without any issue. I do not want to use this application because I like using Firefox -- any suggestions would be appreciated. Just do not know what to do to fix this.

Can "Navigate" feature open in new window?

Here's a little more detailed explanation of what I'm looking for. Suppose we have a financial report which is a vertical bar chart which shows total revenue by month. We've setup the interaction on the chart to Navigate to a detailed report for the month which is clicked on. Right now, when you click on the detailed report, it show up in the current web browser window you have open. I would like the report to show up in a new web browser window so that we can compare the details to the summary chart.
Do you have any idea how to accomplish that?

Sending data opens new window

Ok , since like 90% of people are using IE6 this is annoying.
I have data that needs to be sent to an ASP page after the movie
has finished. No problems there it runs, posts the data the asp
gets the data everyone is happy. However when Flash POSTS the form
data it opens a new window, or at least it tries to. It keeps
getting blocked by the built in pop-up blocker in IE6 and IE7,
tests also indicate that the AOL, Google, and Yahoo toolbars also
block it.
So I want to open the page it is posting the data to in the
same window as the flash but when I tell it to open _self, _parent,
or even _top it still opens in a new window. Is there something I
am missing.

you'll find this:
A successful send() method call will always open a new

replace content in an existing window or frame. If you would
rather send

I can't send email on new iPhone 6

I have the new 6. I have three email accounts coming to my phone. All will receive, but none will send. Each account is using a different provider, Comcast, Go Daddy, and Verizon. None can send and all give an smtp error. Friday I had the 4s and everything worked beautifully. Saturday got the 6 and now I can't send. I have deleted and reinstalled the accounts to no avail. At first I thought it was just Comcast but all are giving the same error. Any ideas?

have you found a solution? I have the same problem. All settings are double and triple checked - it simply does not work. It accepts the password for smtp when you enter the details, but the mail program itself then claims the credentials are wrong. They aren't. It worked beautifully before upgrading to an iphone6.
