Stop using the same Apple ID for iMessage on these devices. Go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive (Receive At in iOS 5), tap the ID shown, sign out, then sign back in using a unique ID for each device. (Or, just sign out and stop using your Apple ID for iMessage.)

Can you have more than one computer linked to the same icloud account? If so how do you add a computer?
Yes, of course - that's the whole point, to provide syncing of data such as calendars, contacts and email between computers and iOS devices. Having got iCloud up and running on one computer, simply sign all other devices in at System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud with the same login. (Lion 10.7.2 and iOS5 are the minimum requirements.)

Can you have more than one iTunes account on the same computer?
My wife just got a nano and wants to set up her itunes library. Since we have different tastes in music, I thought we should have separate libraries under our separate log-ins to our PC so that her music didn't upload to my iPod and vice versa. Is that the right approach or is there a better way?
There are basically two ways of using multiple iPods on a computer and these involve:
a) Sharing a single iTunes library and user account.
b) Creating multiple user accounts and having separate libraries.
Sharing a Library
If you want to share the one library, you can set either or all of the iPods so that they only get updated with only certain playlists (you can update from more than one if you wish):
Loading songs onto iPod automatically - Windows
Choosing the update option "Sync Music - Selected playlists" allows you to create a playlist specifically for the iPod and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used some other time if you choose. You can read more about playlists at these links:
iTunes: Creating playlists of your favorite songs
How to create a Smart Playlist with iTunes
Or you can choose to update any or all of the iPods manually and just drag whatever content you want to them: Managing content manually on iPod
Separate User Accounts
Another option is to create a separate User account for each person on your PC or Mac. Different accounts by definition would give you completely separate libraries. Each account has it's own iTunes folder, Library and iTunes Music folder and you load it with CDs etc just as you did with your original one. The iPod can be set to update however the owner chooses, sync all, manual or sync specific playlists -
Hi I am trying to update my email address since I quit work and left my work email address behind. I now only have one email address, but an iphone and ipod classic and want both of them to use the same email address - but am having problems using the address for my iphone as it is already attached to the ipod classic. Does anyone know how I fix this??
thanks

take a look and good luck, it is not supported or standard but can be done.
NTFS and HFS drivers to write back and forth may be easier and better though.
or 2nd hard drive - and use NTFS along with HFS driver as needed. -
Can't have more than one item on at the same time
Hello,
I have a WRT110. I have two wireless notebooks and a wireless printer on a network. Everytime I turn more than one thing on, it makes my connection drop. Example, I will have my notebook on and if I want to print something out, I turn on the printer and bam, I've lost my wireless connection. What am I doing wrong? Its to the point where if my husband is online and I turn on my Ipod it connect to the internet and my husbands connect ends. We keep having to reset router and modem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Solved!
Go to Solution.1. Goto Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections.
2. Right click on ‘Local Area Connection’ & click ‘properties’ option.
3. Uncheck ‘Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)

I just purchased my second ipad and I want to have it under a different apple id. I want to keep it more streamlined for things that I really use and not filled up with a lot of games, pictures and so on. I don't know how to go about setting the itunes account up. So can anyone out there help me with this.
thanks,
kathyI would advise that you not set up a second Apple ID. It's really not necessary - having two Apple IDs won't affect how iTunes works with your iPads - and will just complicate matters. Each iPad will be treated independently and can be set to sync only the items you want on that particular iPad. If you really want to keep the two iPads separate, set up different iTunes libraries and have only those items you want on the related iPad in that library, rather than a different Apple ID. If you plan not to use a computer and just download directly to the iPads, you can again choose what apps and content each iPad gets.
But answering your specific question, you can have content from up to five iTunes Store accounts on any one computer or iPad. To create a new iTunes Store account, you'll need a different email address, and from there you just create the account the same way you did the first one.

My sister has an iTunes account on our main computer, and I have one on our laptop. I want to be able to sync my iPod with the main computer, but I can't because my library is on the laptop. Is there any way to sync my iPod with my library on the computer?
Yes

However you can only sync all media from one iTunes library/computer. However, one can sync music and videos with different computers/libraries if you have iTunes setup to manually sync. See that method included here:
