I have out hoe to extract data from different source systems and loading data into Info cubes but i not understanding how to create/go through BEx web reporting and web templets send me step by step scenarious to work on it.For this i have searched lot of sites but i couldn't find it thats he reason i am posting this post.

Warranty and Support are only valid in the country of origin. You will need to take the device to whatever country it originally came from.
Apple will not accept shipments from outside the country nor will they return it to an address outside the country.

How to create a report in Form line Style and can display Image field?

Hi,
In Report builder 10g, I would like to create a Report with Form Line Style and this report included a Image field.
I can choose this Style only when Select Report type is Paper Layout. Because, If I choose Create both Web & Paper Layout or Create Web Layout only then in the next Style tab 03 option Form, Form letter and Mailing Label be Disabled.
But in Paper Layout, my report can not display Image field.
I tried with Web layout and all the other Styles (Except 03 mentioned be Disabled) then all Styles are displayed Imager field OK.
How to create a report in Form line Style and can display Image field?
I was change File Format property of my Image field from text to Image already in Property Inspector. But report only showed MM for my Image field.

Here you go..Just follow these steps blindly and you are done.
1) Create a year prompt with presentation variable as pv_year
2) Create a report say Mid report with year column selected 3 times
- Put a filter of pv_year presentation variable on first year column with a default value say @{pv_year}{2008}
- Rename the second time column say YEAR+1 and change the fx to CAST(TIME_DIM."YEAR" AS INT)+1
- Rename the second time column say YEAR-1 and change the fx to CAST(TIME_DIM."YEAR" AS INT)-1
Now when you will run Mid Report, this will give you a records with value as 2008 2009 2007
3) Create your main report with criteria as Year and Measure col
- Change the fx for year column as CAST(TIME_DIM."YEAR" AS INT)
- Now put a filter on year column with Filter based on results of another request and select these:
Relationship = greater than or equal to any
Saved Request = Browse Mid Report
Use values in Column = YEAR-1
- Again,put a filter on year column with Filter based on results of another request and select these:
Relationship = less than or equal to any
Saved Request = Browse Mid Report (incase it doesn't allow you to select then select any other request first and then select Mid Report)
Use values in Column = YEAR+1
This will select Year > = 2007 AND Year < = 2009. Hence the results will be for year 2007,2008,2009
This will 100% work...

BPM - Send Step to HTTP - How to capture the error?

Hi gurus,
I have a BPM with a Send Step that connects to an http server. I need the following:
- If the HTTP returns code 200, end the BPM
- If the HTTP returns another code, wait 5 minutos and try the send step again.
I've made a LOOP with a flag. Inside the LOOP I have a BLOCK with an exception branch.
In the send step I put in the field "system error" to go to the exception branch and in the exception branch i'm setting my flag to do the loop one more time.
My problem is that the Send Step is not triggering the exception branch! The http returns 405 or 504 and it continues like everything is okey.
Can you help with this?

Hi Ramakrishna,
Once you create the session, Process the session using
the report RSBDCSUB using submit statement.
It would list out the erroneous records.
Hence, while submitting, just say submit RSBDCSUB in background and export output list to memory.,
Then you can retrieve the list from memory using the FM LIST_FROM_MEMORY into the internal table and finally send the email by the fm you have already mentioned.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. There are a couple of methods for using more than one iPod on a single computer. Have a look at the article linked below. Method two as Chris has already described above is to set your preferences so each iPod is updated with only certain playlists within one library. Can't send mail via iCloud with my iMac after creating a new account

yesterday I created my account on Icloud.
I've Lion on my Imac, so I registered the account directly from settings on my Imac.
Now I can receive mail, but I can't send them, because the imap smtp server won't recognize my password.
If I access on icloud.com, I can do everything correctly.

It's a bad idea to post your email address - it's an invitation to spam - and I've aasked the Hosts to remove it.
The first thing to try would be to sign out in System Preferences>iCloud, then sign back in again and check 'Mail' and any other data types you need in the list. This will set Mail up, hopefully correctly.
If you are still having problems accessing or sending mail go to http://appleid.apple.com and change your password, making sure that it complies with Apple's requirements: at least eight characters, of which at least one must be a numeral and one a capital letter.
Note that iCloud does not interact with any other email service. You cannot use it to check other email accounts, and you cannot send using its smtp server with any address other than your @me.com one as the 'From' address.
You should be able to set up other accounts separately in the Mail application: these would be unaffected by iCloud in any way.

How to create a report with selection screen that can run in background

Sorry to ask these basic questions but I am knew to ABAP Programming.
To keep it simply, I am attempting to create a report that has a simple parameter driven selections screen with one field. That field takes in a folder path from the user. The user executes the report. The report creates a simply BDC that goes into SE16, gathers data from a table, and exports the results to a text file using the folder path provided. I created a variant for the folder path field in the selection screen hoping to use it while executing the report in the background. The report is not exporting the file as it did when run in the foreground for some reason.
I am wondering what event is triggered when a report is executed in the background. In the foreground (or when I execute the program via SE38->Execute->With Variant) the user needs to execute the program by hitting the execute button once the variant has populated the folder path field. It works then, so I am trying to get the same to work in the background. I am thinking I didn't put the program together correctly to accommodate the running in the background. How can you create a report that can accept user input via variant into a selection screen and then run in the background?
Please, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, finally I understand what you're doing. Initially you lost me with the SE16 reference...
Not sure what you're trying to achieve overall, but apart from the fact that you cannot export/download a file to a user's PC via background job (unless you have a mapped network share on the server or something like an FTP server on the user's PC, but both are pretty hypothetical scenarios and unlikely to occur).
Also, the BDC approach to get data via SE16 is pretty awkward. Note that SE16 is guarded by some authorization checks and often users won't have access in production (which might not matter if you intend to always run your program in background via dedicated batch user). However, I have no clue why you wouldn't want to use [open SQL|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABENOPEN_SQL_READING.htm] to read the data. You could then save it on the application server or if you really have to get it to the user you can consider e-mailing the file (extracts should be compressed before sending). For the latter you'll find plenty of references here, basically it's the [business communication services|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/2d/1c5d3aebba4c38e10000000a114084/frameset.htm] that you'd need to look at.

Wife can't send or receive Yahoo/Verizon email, I get non-deliver reports with an smtp error.

My wife hasn't been able to send *or* receive email, via the web or via POP3. When she tries to log into the Verizon/Yahoo mail web page she gets "Temporary Error 16" and when she tries to send mail from her OSX Mail application, it never leaves, even though Mail says it is connected to outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net

Thunderbird adds " and characters to my email addresses from my address book, and then can't send them because they are unrecogniseable, how do I stop it?

If I click a contact in the contact payne of a write window, it comes up in the To: place as <" joeblogs"@talktalk.com> for example. Even though in the address book it is [email protected] When I try to send the email, it comes back as an unrecogniseable address and is not sent. If I remove the <""> characters by hand ,it works. Thank you Matt, I think the problem is solved. I must have been in the habit of putting a space before the email address, one I removed them the "" were removed, The <> still surrounds the email address on the outgoing mail but that is to differentiate the address from the friends name. Thanks.

When I select messages it wont go to main message menu it stays locked and I can't send messages to anyone else. How do I get back to the main message menu? select anyone else

You should be able to tap a different conversation you already have open. Try tapping the write new message button, it looks like the square with the pencil icon, right next to the word Messages, if it opens then tap the blue + sign.
You could also try to delete all you current open windows by tapping the Edit button then check marking all them > delete.
If you are still having problems first try to close Messages and then double tapping the Home Button to bring up the dock and long press on the messages app in the dock until you see it shaking with the red circle and completely turn it off, then re-open and see if that fixes it. If not you could try to reboot the iPad by holding the home button and the power button at the same time, ignore the "slide to Power Off" message and continue holding both buttons until you see the screen go black and the Apple logo appear.

I can't enter iCloud. Keeps telling me how to create an account?

For the third time iCloud refuses to let me enter my iCloud account. It goes straight to how to set up your account, download find my iPhone etc. my account is active, works perfectly on my MacBook Pro, and I'm logged in correctly in Account Settings. Another note: when I re-check my iCloud account in Settings, it shows I've entered a shorter password ******** rather than my 11 digit password which I've just put in. Thoughts?

You're welcome.
You can't go to icloud.com from your iPhone or iPad but you don't really need to because all the data is already on your devices. The data on icloud.com is the same data that is on your phone and iPad. The only thing on icloud.com that isn't is Find My iPhone, but Apple provides a free Find My iPhone app that you can download to your devices from the App store so you can use that on your iOS devices too.

Can I send a report from apex to a non-apex user?

I am new to apex, and using ver 2.0. The users would like to click "email this report", put in any email address (someone internal to the organization or external), and have an html file sent to the recipient, that is the report they were just reviewing in apex. The recipient is NOT an apex user.
In addition to this, they'd like to indicate that they want an associated report (one that they are currently not viewing) to be emailed as well (lower priority as I can tell them to go to the other report and click the same "email this report" link over there)
The more details the better, as i'm new to this environment.

This is do-able, but it is not just a few clicks and it's done. If you're new to Apex you probably want to start with getting email working first. This isn't that big a deal, but you want to make sure your email delivery from Apex is reliable before you start moving on to emailing attachments.
The first hurdle is that the apex_mail package doesn't support file attachments, which sounds like a fundamental requirement for your situation. This means that you need to either use utl_smtp (which I would not recommend - it's a bit complex) or utl_mail, which isn't installed by default in the typical Oracle installation. You'd have to ask your DBA to install it and set the SMTP host parameters that is requires.
Once (if) you get utl_mail up and running you'd want to look into the SEND_ATTACH_VARHAR2 or SEND_ATTACH_RAW procedures to do the actual email send procedure.
You'll also need to create the report via a custom PL/SQL procedure that would output the report as a either plain text or HTML so the user can read the output when they get the email attachment.
I know it sounds complicated, but if you just take it one step at a time you can get there, and you'll be quite happy with the results when you do.

You can only create function modules and function groups using the Function Builder in the ABAP Workbench. For further information, refer to Creating New Function Modules. This section uses an example to illustrate how a function module is created from the point of view of ABAP programming.
Function Groups and Function Modules:
Firstly, we create a new function group DEMO_SPFLI to hold the function module. Then, we can create the new function module.
Parameter Interface:
You can specify the types of interface parameters in function modules in the
same way as the parameter interfaces of subroutines. Since function
modules can be used anywhere in the system, their interfaces can only contain
references to data types that are declared systemwide. These are the elementary
ABAP data types, the systemwide generic types, such as ANY TABLE, and types
defined in the ABAP Dictionary. You cannot use LIKE to refer to data types
declared in the main program.
Exceptions:
Our function module needs an exception that it can trigger if there are no entries
in table SPFLI that meet the selection criterion. The exception NOT_FOUND
serves this function.
Source Code:
Having defined the parameter interface and exceptions, we can now write the
source code of our function module. To do this, choose Source code in the
Function Builder. This opens the ABAP Editor for the include program
L<fgrp>U<xx> (see Function Groups). This is the include that will
hold the program code for the function module;
Data in Function Modules
You can use the TYPES and DATA statements to create local data types and
objects. The interface parameters also behave like local data objects. In
addition, you can access all of the global data of the main program. This data is
defined in the include program L<fgrp>TOP. To open this include, choose Goto
Global data. The global data behaves like the instance attributes of a class.
The first time you call a function module in a particular function group, the data is
loaded into memory. It can then be accessed and changed by all of the function
modules in the group. The system retains the values until the next time a function
module is called.
Calling Subroutines
You use subroutines for local modularization. Function modules can
also use this technique. The function module that they call are defined in the
corresponding main program.
If you only want to call a subroutine from a single function module, it is best to
define them in the same include program as the function module itself, directly
after the ENDFUNCTION statement. These subroutines can be called from all
function modules in the function group, but for clarity, they should only be called
from the function module that precedes them.
If you want to define a subroutine that will be called from several different function
modules, you can define a special include program for it with the name
L<fgrp>F<xx>.
Raising Exceptions
There are two ABAP statements for raising exceptions. They can only be used in
function modules:
RAISE <except>.
and
MESSAGE..... RAISING <except>.
The effect of these statements depends on whether the calling program handles
the exception or not. If the name <except> of the exception or OTHERS occurs
in the EXCEPTIONS addition of the CALL FUNCTION statement, the exception is
handled by the calling program.
If the calling program does not handle the exception
The RAISE statement terminates the program and switches to debugging mode.
The MESSAGE ..... RAISING statement display the specified message. How the
processing continues depends on the message type.
If the calling program handles the exception, both statements return control to the
program. No values are transferred. The MESSAGE ..... RAISING statement
does not display a message. Instead, it fills the system fields SY-MSGID, SYMSGTY,
SY-MSGNO, and SY-MSGV1 to SY-MSGV4.
