Basically, do not buy a Harddrive Camera or a DVD Camera.
Get a Dv Tape camera (I am partial to Sony) and be certain that it has a firewire port (the only way to import video directly to your Mac. if you get a Sony, they call that port an iLink.
Be sure to pick up a 4-pin to 6-pin firewire as no camera that I know of comes with anything but a USB cable.

You just need a powered hub.. if you already use one then fine.
Plug in just about any external hard disk will work fine. Format has to be readable by the TC.. ie fat32.. or much better HFS+.. plug it into a Mac to prepare the drive.
Pick whatever size suits.. nowadays 2TB are most economical.
WD, Seagate have goobled up all the minor players.. so pick one.
Whatever suits your budget and asthetics.
NOTE.. The USB on the TC is fine for printers.. IMHO it is the wrong way to go with USB disks.. use the internal disk of the TC.. USB is less than half the native speed plugged into a Mac.. TC to USB is slow.. far slower than internal drive.. or using external drive as external.

Can I just tar the weblogic file system and untar it to the new server and make the necessary changes?

Can't address the problem directly, cause even though my iPad4 is Cell+Wi-Fi, I've never put a SIM in it and never had the need to text, SMS or iMessage, from it. When away from the office or home wireless network, I tether it off the iPhone. Skype, both text and video, work just fine thru the Wi-Fi link, though.
HOWEVER, when I was hashing out the contract details to get the iPhone 5 about 14 months ago at Telcel, the representative distinctly mentioned that both Visual Voicemail as well as iMessages would be included in the package and they would be mandatory cause "I was getting a (subsidized) Apple iPhone" on a 24 month leash. Then when the gizmo came out of its box for SIM installation and activation, she went thru the motions of making sure both were working properly. So I assume the carrier has some say in the matter.

Afraid I haven't seen that before. The only thing I could suggest is to boot from the 1st Install disk and run the hardware test. I would wonder about the video card. You might also post in the MacPro forum. I just got MY MacPro today, and the MacPro Forum is where I would go:

(Apple added that effect in some update …)
but on looking closer on your example, it asks for more finesse:
the shadow arm is keyed over the original ...
maybe some smart arrangement of layered, processed and delayed green-screening?
(means, not shot in font of a black bg, to get a clean key of subject...)
… would be my shoestring-budget solution
or, looks like masking, tracking, etc .. maybe tools like coremelt's SliceX could help you.

What is the best way to record electric guitar or a microphone (for acoustic & vocals) into Garage Band? I tried plugging directly in to the mic input and selected low latency but there still is a bit of delay. I assume I need a USB or firewire interface. What are some good ones that are ultra portable? Yes and no!
First, Garageband gives you limited ability to change the size of its buffer, which impacts latency. So even if your CPU were fast enough, I'm not sure if GB would allow you to dial down the buffer size in order to fully take advantage of it.
Second, latency isn't only a function of CPU speed. There are other places where the audio can get bottlenecked as it makes its way in and out and through the computer. That's why some of the systems that market themselves as ultra-low latency for professional work use PCIe cards in order to shovel audio back and forth faster than is possible via USB or Firewire. For example, Apogee's Symphony System connects via a proprietary PCIe card in order to offer phenomenally low latency rivaling dedicated systems that use the computer only as a host (Garageband is a native system that uses the computer for everything).
So while a fast CPU is at the heart of the latency issue, there are a number of surrounding issues that also influence it. The workaround of having an interface with its own routing system - so you can listen to your audio as you record before it has a chance to go through the computer and get delayed - is a cheap and elegant, if imperfect solution.

I just bought a new laptop it has the 64-bit version of Windows 8.1 installed.
My old PC I uses Outlook 2007 on Vista 32-bit and syncs fine.

since Outlook 2007 will go out of support sometime soon(er) than Outlook 2010 I'd like to upgrade to either Outlook 2010 or 2013 but I don't care which ...
When I go to the itunes download page it detects my 64-bit system and wants to download 64-bit itunes, but I could sidestep this (perhaps)
but downloading the 32-bit version on some other machine....
then try to install it on my new 64-bit PC, but I'm not sure that the installer would actually "let" it install it..............

I recommend you start with an Airport Extreme Bast Station which connects to your cable modem and will act as the router. You can connect devices to it either using Ethernet cable or wirelessly as it will set up one or two separate Wi-Fi networks - one lo-frequency and one hi-frequency.
If for some reason you have trouble connecting to it in different locations within the apartment, then you would add an Airport Express to boost the signal as I stated previously.

If you only have a 10MB limit on the Internet connection you might as well not have Internet access and certainly should not attempt to stream anything.
If the limit is 10GB, then you will need to be careful with streaming as most video is 1-3GB for a one hour show.

Okay, I did my best searching and I couldn't find anything that matched all your descriptors. I did do a search on both decoder numbers. SB0256 returned very little results, but with SB0466, I was able to find this ebay listing:

This card isn't a Champion like you suggested. And with my complete lack of knowledge, I don't know what I/O dri've bay means. But since it is PCI and the decoder matches the number you gave me, this card should be adequete, right?
Whether it works or not, my search indicated it might be very hard for me to find that card (or any PCI card for that matter). Everything I saw was out of stock. No Japanese carrier provides unlocking services. Therefore, your phone must have been hacked to unlock it. That hack was removed when you updated the software. You need to be a legitimately unlocked phone.
