Can use AD authentication on UPK Knowledge Center and UPK Developer Client?

I am quite new to UPK and any one help me advise on whether possible to use AD authentication in upk knowledge center and dev client.
My upk version is 11.1 pro.

i think you can put the device in airplane mode then selectively turn on wifi...
before you travel you could try this and check your cellular usage on the settings ! mobile data display. you might be able to turn mobile data / cellular radio off that way as well.

Can UCE communicate to the Universal Knowledge Base and Universal Software Component Repository through a company proxy server?
Answer
During the install process of the OnStage Management Server, the OnStage EZ-installer will detect your local proxy server whilst establishing communications with the Aduva Universal Servers.
In this instance, the user is prompted for the proxy parameters, including IP address of the proxy or proxy server name if DNS is present, proxy user name and password.
This information is stored locally in the .director.rc file and is never communicated to Aduva or any other 3rd party.
Once the proxy settings have been correctly inputed during installation, OnStage will indeed work through the proxy server.

There is a certain website I use that I refresh frequently. Every time I do I get a pop up message labeled ‘Confirm’ with a question mark in it that says;
“To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier."

I am accustomed to seeing this type of pop up on occasion and understand why they are necessary to prevent duplicating orders, payments, etc. I am not using a back button, I wanted to use an auto-refresh app to search for reservation openings on a certain web site and can not because this pop up requires me to manually push a button every time the page refreshes. I am resending the same information every time (a date range) via the POST form, so, was hoping there was a way to either disable, override, or set up and auto response so I can use the auto-refresh app. Your description of how to avoid the pop up didn't entirely make sense to me, but If I have to do a bunch of manual steps in between each refresh attempt it doesn't matter because I'm no better off.

UpkServer 64 bit and UPK Developer Client on 32 bit ??

Quick question.
if I have Windows 2008 server - 64 bit and I have UPK 3.5.1. with Oracle 11g release 1.
For above configuration Can I have Upk developer client on 32 bit windows machine or upk developer clients need to be on 64 bit also ?

The clients can be 32-bit.

AND object = 'PROG'
AND obj_name = tstc-pgmna.
We will get development class or package in tadir i.e
tadir-devclass

Standard process is to open respective Module/Section/Topic, and then modify Bubble text as per need. This will be time consuming if there are 50 Scripts where common bubble text needs to be placed. Hence is there any way by which Bubble Text contents can be accessed outside UPK Developer and then updating it in one go.

For VSAN you need at LEAST 3 hosts (4 recommended).
Each host must have 1 SSD for read cache/write buffer.
Do you have any storage at all? How about running a NAS such as "OpenFiler" or "FreeNAS". That way you can present shared storage via that way. (I'd use this in Lab only). These NAS O/S's also work as virtual machines so you can turn any disk into shared storage.

Not all carriers unlock their phones. They are under no legal obligation to do so in many places.

Before you change it, read that article carefully and make sure you really want to do it.
Also, note that if you are using Auto Downloading, the Terms and Conditions state that "You may switch an Associated Device to a different Account only once every 90 days."

How to uninstall UPK Developer Client ?

I can see the option to uninstall server in my Control Panel > Programs, but, not for Developer client.

Hi Sahil,
I have noticed the same on my Server/Client install for UPK 11.1 - there seems to only be an option to remove the server component of the install.
If I look at the UPK Developer properties, it executes ODDev.exe from the server installation folder, so I would assume that they have integrated the server/client install.
The Install Guide for UPK 11.1 also tells users to remove the client via Control Panel (which is a bit bias seeing that it cannot be done on 11.1 for a client/server combination...)
I will let you know if I figure it out in any way...

I bought the hdmi and didn't realize you can only use it for iPad 2. I want to be able to watch Netflix through my iPad 1. And also play my apps on my big screen is there any cable out that will let me do this on my iPad 1.

I just purchase an apple tv. It was my goal to use the apple tv to match video tutorials of a certian website onto my tv. I am now realizing that I do not think this is possible correct? If a 4S, Verizon must unlock the GSM portion which then can be used with another carrier's SIM card outside of the US.
Being able to tether the iPhone is carrier dependent.

How do I save contacts on my Iphone 3 to sim card so I can use the sim card with another Iphone and keep all of my contacts.

Contacts cannot be saved to the SIM card on an iPhone. Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the comptuer. That would be Outlook or Windows Address Book, Windows Contacts on the Windows computers and Address Book on a Mac. There are also web based solutions such as Yahoo or Google. Contacts would have to be saved there and then synced to the new phone.
