Can use SFP-H10GB-CU3M OR SFP-H10GB-CU5M to connect 6120XP to Cat6K Switch?
You dont have to connect to Nexus equipment. Your LAN can be anything as long as you can connect the UCS system to it.
Currently you need a switch with 10GE ports to uplink from your 6100s.
I believe that in the next version of the firmware/software in UCS you will be able to connect your 6100s to the LAN using 1G ports.

today i use the SFP+ "SFP-10G-SR" in Cisco Catalyst 2960S-48TD-L connect to 1000BASE-SX SFP in 6509's module WS-X6724-SFP.
the port setting is trunk,but they don't work, even the led don't flush. then i also use the 1000BASE-SX SFP to replace SFP+ SFP-10G-SR in
2960S-48TD-L, then they cany working.
i look up the cisco data sheet , there are no data sheet to satament the 10G sfp+ can't down support 1G sfp. so i want to confirm the problem.
otherwise, the 10 SFP+ only can use for 10G SFP+ ; can't down suport 1G SFP.
this means: if you want to use the 10G SFP+ the other old device also need to replace.

I found this conversation today, as I am looking for answer on question similar to question that Jerry asked, while opening this discussion.
So, my problem is the following. At some location, I need two 10GB and one 1GB connection over optical cables. To minimize costs, I tried with WS-C2960X-48FPD-L, but as it contain only two SFP+ ports, I tried with two WS-C2960X-24PD-L that will be connected with stack modules.
So, having two WS-C2960X-24PD-L, I can have 2 x 2 1GB SFP+ ports. There are two opened questions:
1. Can I put 1GB SFP transceiver module in SFP+ port (as I must have one 1GB connection to remote site)?
2. Can I use stack of two mentioned 2960 24-port switches, in a way that I use one of them for two 10GB connections (using SFP+ ports for 10GB connection), and second member of the stack in a way that one (of two available) SFP+ port is used for 1GB SFP connection (using SFP+ port as mentioned in question 1)?
I am not sure if your previous statement covers my questions, as it is not clear if 1GB SFP transceiver can be inserted in SFP+ port on WS-C2960X-24PD-L (or any other switch that has SFP+ port). -

Is your Airport visible here? If so, click on it and look for the "show Airport in menubar" checkbox. -
Time Capsule trying to connect through a Workgroup Switch ?
We have a DSL line coming into a DSL modem. The modem is then connected to a Workgroup Switch, which has one ethernet cable going to a router (for a different set of users in our office) and another ethernet cable going to our router. I decided to replace our router with a Time Capsule so we could use it for backup purposes, print sharing (and wifi). Unfortunately I cannot get on the internet. We can use the printer which is connected to the Time Capsule but we cannot access the internet.
Any advice ?Unless your ISP is providing multiple public IP addresses this is the wrong setup.. Although how it used to work I have no idea..
Did you have a private IP address and double NAT.. ??
Please give the following info.
What adsl modem do you have? Is it bridged or setup in router mode? Do you have multiple IP or multiple logins?
What IP does the old router get on the wan interface.. and how is it setup?
What IP does the other router get for the other set of users?
What IP does the TC get when you plug it in and use dhcp? -
The cisco nexus interface is only detecting the type as
SFP-H10GB-CU1M, instead of SFP-H10GB-ACU7M. Is the PROSFP transceiver and cable supported by Cisco's Nexus? Is this a supported connection?

i have a targus 4.0 bluetooth usb adapter and so i can pair my iphone 4s and ipad air wirelessly, it seems to pair ok but when i try to connect i get a error message or not compatible. can some one tell me if it i can use this bluetooth with my devices, thanks

You can only add songs to your iOS device from iTunes via Wi-Fi sync or via your cable, not Bluetooth.

I have a macbook pro and use BT homehub 3. can't work out how to connect my time capsule. can anyone help? thanks
Just need to plug the TC in to the hub in bridge mode.. do not try and bridge the homehub.. it is not possible with the setup BT uses.
To bridge the TC.. plug it directly into a computer by ethernet.. no other connection to the TC or the computer.
Press and hold in reset until the front LED flashes rapidly.. about 10sec.
Release the reset.
Open the airport utility and setup the TC to bridge mode.
The actual method depends on version of the OS and airport utility you use.
This is version 5.
Sorry I cannot post the v6 as I am on a snow leopard computer now. But you go to the network tab, and choose off bridge mode for method of connection. It will be NAT and dhcp by default.
Then setup wireless.. you have a number of choices here.
Either setup with the same SSID Security and password, as the homehub uses.. or a different name, and password..
Each method works fine.. but you sometimes have issues with wireless channels.. for now leave it on auto and see what happens.. if you have issues lock down the radio channels on both devices.. use one out of the following on each, 1, 6, 11 or 13 in UK.. so say 6 on the homehub then 13 onthe TC.
Update the TC.. unplug fromt the computer and plug it into the homehub.
If you have other issues with the setup tell us what OS you run so we can post suitable screenshots. -

I'm trying to update my iOS to 6.0, using iTunes (with my 4s connected via USB and WiFi is on also). I get a message that 'there are purchased items on my iPhone that have not been transferred to my iTunes library. Yet, I can't find those items! Help! I don't have a wireless printer, and want to print things off of my iPad. I know that I can use the iPad Camera Connection kit to connect USB devices like keyboards and I am wondering if I could do the same with a USB printer.
I don't think you can connect a printer since you won't have the printer drivers. I use FingerPrint from collobos.com to print to my non-AirPrint printers.

I can use the Remote app on my iphone to connect with my itunes library on my computer, but I can't connect to the Apple TV using home sharing with another computer in the house. I am using the same ID and password that the apple tv uses to connect with the other computer. Also how do I check what version of IOS that my iphone is using?

Are all the devices on the same physical network? I think you're saying all are set up using the same home sharing credentials.
If you've not done so restart all devices and your router.
If you can get any of the devices connected by ethernet to reduce the wifi burden that may help but to be honest I would not expect simply beoing on wifi to prevent devices/computers appearing in the list.
Does the other computer have any firewall or port blocking software running? -
