Can user update the 6i canned Reports output in any format?

Hi,
We are converting the existing 2.5 reports to 6i reports and our users requested a functionality to update the output of the canned reports. I can generate the output in PDF, RTF, HTML, XML from the developer and view it but cannot update the information. Another thing I notice that whenever report get generated to HTML format it doesn't pick up the images at all. Usually ant htm or html file we can update by opening up into word, but any thing generated from the reports are unable to openup in the word. The html tag just handles the text, no images.
In short, can u guide me to the right way so I can run the report and generate to any one Format and also user can update if they need to. Buying PDF reader(editable) is not an option.

run your report to RTF and use word to open them and change whatever you like.

Nope SSRS doesnt have write back options. Its just a reporting tool
However one thing you can do is to link a webpage from SSRS report and do the changes through it
SSRS has the ability to navigate to web page through which you can capture any data inputs from users and save it to your db.

Can I update the user ID of a user?

We've noticed that the OOB login component assumes that you log in using your user ID and password. This is fine if you never update the user name, but in our organization the requirement is to let users update their username. How would we need to implement this? We see two solutions:
1) username is in fact user ID. When the user updates the username we need to somehow update that user's ID or delete the existing user ID and create a new one. We do not like this approach as it looks like a lot of reverse replication will need to be done.
2) username is NOT the user ID. In this case it would mean we need to update the OOB login components as that component takes the user ID as input, not the username. We would need to use javascript to find the userID based on the provided username before starting the authorization process. We will also need to make sure that username remains unique across all users.
Any opinions on what would be easiest to implement. We don't really like any of the options. Ideally I wish we could just update the userID of a user as that would mean we can use all of the OOB components for login and profile handling. But I've read that this is not possible.

I would refer you to not play with username (userid/principal name) and because you have this requirement i will suggest to add one more property to user node (/home/users) say user_login_name which will have same value as username (rep:principalName) while first time registration.
Now you have to do small tweak in your login module, every time when user will login you would expect value for "user_login_name" and once user click on login button before submitting for authorization you have to query to repository system to get actual username (rep:principalName) from repository and then use actual username for login. It means "login_user_name" will be just for display but back side you will be running same logic by small code tweak.
Now about changes to login_user_name can be easily placed as everytime you will be allowing user to update "login_user_name" not "username" but you must have to take care of one thing that there will be no duplicate "login_user_name" in system. For that you can write a listener which will be fired at the time of form submit or may be you can also do through client side script validation (you have to some research for feasibility at client side - may be "ecma" script can help).

The problem is I can only update the software on one of the three iPhones – the primary phone I used to setup the iTunes acct. What is the best solution to manage these devices for software updates, apps? This is probably a common problem with families wanting to share apps and music without realizing the issues created by this approach. As it stands today... the first (primary) iPhone associated with the iTune acct has been updated with the latest software version 5.1.1 and sync'd up with all the apps, music, etc from the one iTune acct, while the other two iPhones are still running on the original software version 4.0.2 and are experiencing problems now. I was advised by AT&T back in January that it would be necessary to setup separate iTunes accts for the second and third iPhones in order to receive system updates. The problem would be how to keep all the apps, etc from being deleted off the second and third phones that were originally loaded from the one iTunes acct. Since this AT&T advice was prior to iCloud coming out, would iCloud be a better solution or at least part of the solution? I really don't yet understand how iCloud works. I can't update the latest app (April 2015 - Photoshop CC2014 & BridgeCC).
Every time i've tried, the error occurred as you can see images attached.
I've also tried uninstall and reinstall both apps, but same problem persists.
It's few days since these updates show up, but until now I still can't update.

How Can I Update the coils on Quantum PLC...

Dear Sir,
I am in the process of configuring Lookout4.5 build9 with Quantum PLC.
I am trying to write two O/p coils of the PLC using two latchgate
objects. I am using two different set of push buttons for latching
and unlatching the two latchgates. After this I have directly
connected the two latchgates to the O/P coils of Modbus object
in modbus ethernet mode of communication.
Now I am using the PLC simulator s/w of PLC to watch the status.
When I start the first pump (coil1) and Stop the second(coil2),
after sometime it is seen that the position is reversed such
that the coil1 is off and coil2 is On. Though here in Lookout
I see that the latchgate 1 is ON and latchgate2 is OFF.
I am
unable to understand this change over in the status of the coil.
I have read one of the documents on NI website (Document ID:15QA2P9C
"Why can't I update the coils on Quantum PLC without reading them
back in?" Report dated:01/27/98). I think my problem is similar
to that.
So please tell me a proper method of updating the coils on Quantum
PLC or how can I update the coils by reading them back ?
OR is there any problem regarding the modbus.cbx file, if so please
send me the latest modbus.cbx for Lookout4.5

The KnowledgeBase that you refered to is 3-1/2 years old, and the problem in the modbus driver is long-since fixed. Their are no other known issues with the Modbus driver.
The method you are using to update the coil sounds appropriate. What I would first verify is that Lookout is not sending a command to toggle the coil.
1) Write the simplest possible process that shows the problem (ie 2 pushbuttons, the modbus object, 1 latchgate).
2) Create a "modbus.ini" file in your Lookout directory. Place the following in the modbus.ini file:

DiagnosticPath=c:\
3) Run your program until the problem occurs. If it does, find the "modbus1" file created in the C:\ directory. This file contains a log of all modbus communication that moved back and forth. Check the
log to see if Lookout sent a command to the PLC. If no command was sent, then the change occurred internal to the PLC software.

Can't update the OS

On my Mac, 10.6 is installed. And I can't update the OS, neither automatically (S.U.app) nor manually (Combo Update). S.U. does not find any updates, the 10.6.2 Combo Update cannot be used on this computer.
Thus, I can't use Safari 4.0.3 that is necessary for using the iTunes Store...

Make sure that you have downloaded the correct version of the combo update. One is for the server version of the OS, an entirely different OS from the normal Snow Leopard one, & it is easy to confuse the two.
Also, how much free space is on your startup volume? You need several GB free for scratch space just to do the update.
Is there anything unusual about how you installed or reinstalled Snow Leopard? You'll probably have to call CSS on this one as this not normal by any means. The messages you noted above are completely normal but if that's all you are seeing then there's an issue.
Have you reviewed wcm.log and wsusctrl.log?
