Can v240 disks be moved to v440 and have a chance of working?
We have a v240 running Solaris 10, and an application that I don't want to go through the pain of reinstalling on a new system right now.
Can I just move those disks to a v440 for an easy upgrade?
At first I thought the idea was laughable, but then I started thinking that they are both Ultra Sparc III, and it might be possible.
Any thoughts (or even laughs) are appreciated. Thanks...Lyle
They are both UltraSPARC IIIi architecture systems. You may have to rebuild the device tree but I would think it would work.

I have an iPhone 5 and mini ipad which I bought in the UK Unlocked. I have just moved to Singaporen and have been told that my iPhone won't accept a sim as the phone is locked to the UK. Any ideas how to unlock as apple say they can't do it. Will I have the same problem with my ipad?
Unless you purchased the iPhone direct from Apple in the UK and paid full price either on line or In an Apple Store then it will be locked to a UK Carrier and only that carrier can arrange unlocking
It is unlikely that the iPad is similarly locked as most are sold carrier free unless specifically purchased from a UK carrier as part of a packaged deal involving a subsidy on the price of the iPad ( not very likely but they do exist ) -

I am trying to authorise my new macbook air for i-tunes and it won't let me. I try to de-authorise all the other computers and it says I can only do this once a year and have to wait until the 7th Feb. It does not give me an option to authorise this computer
Always remember to 'de-authorize' you computer when selling or sending for service. If sending for repairs you might not get the same mother board or HD back and some how this counts as an authorized computer against your count.

At least one other poster received a "gift" of an 11 in Macbook Air from a grandmother, but really wanted a 13 in Pro. The question was if the computer could be swapped for the better unit.
I assume the recipient will not be so inapproptiate as to say "wrong computer -- I want a better one!!!", but the recipient may have certain items on their "Wish List". -

Pls tell me how I can convert a PDF form to a Word doc, and have radio buttons etc work? My PDF form did convert using Adobe PDF Export.... but the formatting is a schamozzle if I try to do anything with it. Most importantly, I need the check boxes and radio buttons to work in Word!
Checkboxes and radio buttons are form objects from Acrobat. There is no equivalent for these objects, with the way they were constructed, within Word.

What do you mean? Your only way to unlock that phone is to have had 40 days continuous service with T-Mobile and then process the unlock through them. If you had an account with T-Mobile you should be able to login and process your unlock. If you did not you can click on the chat program but they are going to tell you the same thing.

Typically the way that you redeem a gift card is to go to either the app store or iTunes - go to the featured tab in the app store or the music tab in iTunes - swipe to the bottom of the screen. Tap on Reedem at the bottom and go from there.

I have a creative cloud membership. If I don't want to build a site in Muse, can I build a business Catalyst site and have hosted free with my creative cloud membership?
Yes you can! It is a Basic level site but you can build it without Muse. I think you may need to create the site originally with Dreamweaver or Muse (meaning creating the site with Business Catalyst not building the site) but once that is done you can use any software to create the code for the site and upload it via SFTP. Hope that makes sense.
